@O2 customer service nailing it once again! Information on the website is about as useful as having a third armpit, and then you call and the automated system cuts you off. Bravo you feckless morons 👏 🙄

  • ChrisSammons_
Chris Sammons (@ChrisSammons_) reported from Birmingham, England

@O2 I appreciate theres obviously a serious issue, I’ve never known signal to be down for so long at one time. There needs to be a conversation at some stage regarding a substantial reimbursement on this months tariff, because to not have any signal whatsoever for this long is a pain

  • conorcole
Conor (@conorcole) reported from Birmingham, England

@O2 Your call centre operatives are rude & your information is misleading. I’ll be paying this device off then switching my network ✨

  • amy_bradwell
Amy Bradwell (@amy_bradwell) reported from Birmingham, England

@O2 I want to cancel my order with yourselves as the iPhone 12 pros are not included in the open discount.

  • PhilTonks2
Phil Tonks (@PhilTonks2) reported from Dudley, England

@O2 Just runs very slow, if at all. Advised in the past to change settings in phone to use 3G but it's hardly practical to keep doing this. 4G+ in the City Centre just seems overloaded much of the time. Other half on Vodafone no issues at all. Very frustrating.

  • ReissOmari
Gordé (@ReissOmari) reported from Birmingham, England

@O2 B11HQ B4 B42 B44 They are my main postcodes, they used to be fantastic, for about 3 months now signal has drilled into the ground.

  • Bigglesdaf
Andrew (@Bigglesdaf) reported from Wombourne, England

@Three_Is_Broken @ThreeUKSupport @ThreeUK @O2 Try it they seem to be willing to cancel for those who escalate to the ombudsman service

  • Cheadle
Hooty McOwlface (@Cheadle) reported from Birmingham, England

@whatphilsaid @O2 It’s horrendous. Who would have thought the network could actually get worse as technology improves

  • notdodgy
Roger Leitch (@notdodgy) reported from Solihull, England

@O2 just changing to O2 as I opted for deal with Virgin. Disappointed with how poor your coverage is locally in the B90 area. Where I had over 200mbits 5G with three, I am now lucky to get 20mbits with O2. Do you have plans to improve your network? Have I made a mistake?

  • steve8454
steve beard (@steve8454) reported from Birmingham, England

@O2 my son has changed network provider from o2 to ee. Waiting 5 days now for tel no to be transferred. Unable to get thru and no response to messages. Its crucial he has a working phone especially at this time. Shameful customer service.....

  • ChrisSammons_
Chris Sammons #StayHomeSaveLives (@ChrisSammons_) reported from Birmingham, England

@danboq @VodafoneUK At least @O2 only fob me off once every two weeks 🤪 And they don’t even give a reason, just knock the date back every time 🤣 As long as I have signal in time so I can send my Xmas texts I’ll be a happy chap

  • ChrisSammons_
Chris Sammons (@ChrisSammons_) reported from Birmingham, England

@O2 Thats the answer I expected to be honest, to a customer of 18 years 👍🏼

  • Tracey_Devina
Tracey_Devina (@Tracey_Devina) reported from West Bromwich, England

@O2 I’m at home for the next 5+ days with covid, my data’s gone, I followed up a text I received to say up my data… it starts on Friday - what’s the actual point. Can you help now, when it matters?!

  • GoGishiGoGo
Gish Abeyratne (@GoGishiGoGo) reported from Birmingham, England

@O2 Device is damaged. Your website and app are as clear as mud about repairs and replacements. I'm on hold waiting for an advisor to be available (20 minutes elapsed). Can you help me out?

  • matthew_74
Matthew Sparks (@matthew_74) reported from West Bromwich, England

Hi @O2 I've tried to call about a technical problem (more a frustration) regarding voicemail. Called a couple of times last week, where messages advises you were busy. Now the message says, 'Use the website' and then hangs up. Any suggestions?

  • SophieMDrake
Sophie Drake (@SophieMDrake) reported from Birmingham, England

@O2 It’s having to be escalated due to a back office technical fault, issue on My O2 and the account behind the scenes, so I’m without data when out of the house for up to 10 days. Not ideal really!

  • adam0604
Adam Waterhouse (@adam0604) reported from Halesowen, England

Yo why is @O2 4G network coverage so garbish lately? Sort your **** out man, I don't pay for a 1 bar signal wherever I go!

  • EvanD
Evan Davis (@EvanD) reported from Solihull, England

@O2 That looks like an Apple device. #Alexa won’t help you there. #Siri might.

O2 Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • Son_Lyme
    Son Lyme (@Son_Lyme) reported

@kokeshimum @O2 Could it be because morons who receive awful service continue to subscribe and pay their monthly fee Sarah?

  • rl_keith
    Robert Keith (@rl_keith) reported

@kokeshimum @O2 All service in the UK is bad. The providers occasionally say they'll build a few more cell towers. Then the village NIMBY will object, and the provider will use the excuse to save money and not build the tower.

  • barmyowl1212
    Jonny Brookes (@barmyowl1212) reported

@kokeshimum @O2 I live in Buxton, middle of nowhere 5g no major issues either. Fact is no service is going to be 100% everywhere

  • Brexit_Refugee
    Brexit Refugee (@Brexit_Refugee) reported

@kokeshimum @O2 One thing that bugs me in UK is the terrible signal. Next thing is if you have an “open reach” router it reserves 30% of your bandwidth for broadcasting a public 5G hotspot onto the street for Open Reach customers using the WiFi hotspot app…. Utter con.

  • v11_eed
    Joan_of_Tyne_Bridge_Arc (@v11_eed) reported

@kokeshimum @O2 Same ****. Yet, o2 have increased their customer bills for the past 12 consecutive years. That’s a 4-10% increase every year since 2014.

  • pmw_77
    Pauline Wardle (@pmw_77) reported

@kokeshimum @scampaboy @O2 Event venues often have signal jammers to prevent live streaming. Supermarkets are just as bad, use our app to get discounts etc then can’t use it due to metal building and no working WiFi

  • Lloydmporter
    Lloyd (@Lloydmporter) reported

@kokeshimum @O2 02 are known for being really bad

  • Mighty_Tinman
    Mighty Tinman (@Mighty_Tinman) reported

@kokeshimum @O2 Why on earth have you stayed with O2 for 15 years? Of the 4 (now 3) operators, they are easily the worst.

  • PartyChambers
    SoundAffects (@PartyChambers) reported

    @fagewelsh @kokeshimum @O2 I'd say there's a big idiot on x that thinks there's 100 million people in the UK

  • TheEnglishRebel
🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿English Rebel - Kingdom of England (@TheEnglishRebel) reported

@kokeshimum @O2 You might find the problem is with O2 if anything. It was fine in London, but hopeless in Devon.
