John Grimshaw (@LeanintoDesign) reported from Oldham, England@fittdr @virginmedia I'm hearing good things about @Plusnet on the customer service side, but it's the TiVo I'd miss, we are seriously considering @NOWTV broadband and TV as we already use them for sky movies but need to investigate if we (the wife) can watch @emmerdale and @LoveIsland 🤣🤣

⌬Nessa Carson (@SuperScienceGrl) reported from Macclesfield, England@mynameis_rob PlusNet; switched to them not long ago from BT after I was sick of BT hiking the prices all the time, and also I was paying too much when my old local area only had crappy cables so poor speeds. PN is owned by BT but has still been better tbh. Solid customer service so far

Tandleman (@tandleman) reported from Middleton, EnglandGetting fed up with @Plusnet who I have been with forever nearly. Every time it rains I lose my internet for a couple of minutes. When I log a fault they say it is fine now or monitor it for 2 days and close the incident. Of course it hasn't rained. Help!
-
Miguel Gilbert (@MiguelGilbert24) reported from Manchester, England@Plusnet I tried all you ask me to try... you are the worse network ever. You expensive you slow and you basic. Flower Pot (@FlowerP79667758) reported@WeAreOpenreach day 8 of no internet. The pavement was dug up and our internet connection stopped. Calls to Plusnet who arranged Openreach to come out yesterday to find the fault. Openreach came yesterday and identified there was a break in the wire that was caused when the pavement was dug up. I was informed that Openreach would be out today to dig a smaller hole and fix the break. My husband spoke to Plusnet who said Openreach would update Plusnet on the 13th May. There is clearly a breakdown in communication between Plusnet and Openreach. My expectation is that Openreach will be out today, as promised, and restore our connection to the internet. We are unable to use our laptops or IPads. Even our door bell is out of action. We do everything online and this is just not acceptable. Particularly as the engineer yesterday informed me yesterday that he could not understand why we had been kept waiting for so long as they did not like leaving people off line for very long. This is not acceptable. To add insult to injury Openreach did not inform us the pavement was being dug up and therefore we did not move our car. Our drive was blocked from 9 am to 4 pm.

Alison Lees (@AlisonMLees) reported@Plusnet I have new email, says I'm switching to ee in 30 days. I phoned already. I want to remain with plusnet fibre to cabinet but lose the phone line rental, at a reduction in cost. This was not offered anywhere & person I spoke to on the phone before couldn't help. Please fix it.
