  • sweelee1 sweelee (@sweelee1) reported from Bromley, England

@PostOffice Yes as you would expect at this time of year. Most of the customers should have been encouraged to use self service, but due to lack of understanding about how to operate and whether it took cash, they opted for the customer assistants. Better service at the self service, IMO.

  • csimpsonTHF Claire Simpson (@csimpsonTHF) reported from Camberwell, England

Popped to the @PostOffice today. Fantastic staff - but I’m slightly concerned about the glove wearing. They told me they wear a fresh pair each day...so the same pair of gloves used to interact with every single customer in one day 🤯 #crosscontamination

  • mariamaylam Maria Lam (@mariamaylam) reported from Kingston upon Thames, England

@PostOffice I managed to register an account but when I log in it keeps on telling me 'a confirmation code had been sent' to me, so I can confirm my email. I've received no code and I've clicked on 'resend confirmation code' again and again. Help!

  • charliebach Mark Lewis (@charliebach) reported from Poplar, England

@PostOffice signed up for broadband & meant to go active yesterday. Still no access. Called & was told there was a delay. Was told by a CSR that we wouldn’t have been told there was a delay as they would wait for us to tell them. This is bad coms. Now got to wait till Mon

@PostOffice Queueing in Ealing Common W5 3NN branch just now, the lady serving was rather rude to a customer who was concerned about the length of time other customers were being made to wait in the queue as she was the only one serving at the counter. Not the sort of 1/2

  • mariamaylam Maria Lam (@mariamaylam) reported from Kingston upon Thames, England

@PostOffice Hi Courtney, thanks for getting back to me but it doesn't matter now. I then registered with my gmail account which worked. There must be a problem with hotmail accounts.

Post Office Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • lv25012744 lv (@lv25012744) reported

@jasrichards2 @PostOffice Totally agree. A pathetic attempt at advertising at the expense of poor taste. Did anyone see the story where “Jane was a sub post office master who was abused by her employer and accused of theft and bullied, oppressed and dragged through the courts ruining her life ?? 🤔

  • NanSheppard NanSheppard (@NanSheppard) reported

@jasrichards2 @PostOffice I’m not offended by this. I used to check his pockets for cash and he never noticed - it could backfire very badly so you have to be careful, but squirrelling away cash is a great tip for anyone in an abusive relationship

  • Paddytastic_123 Paddy (@Paddytastic_123) reported

@hosker_a @PostOffice @RoyalMailHelp Typical post office response. They take the mail at the post office but wash their hands when it goes missing and fob you off to Royal Mail. I get you don’t deliver it but surely you can be more help as you accepted it??

  • chappers06 Ria Chapman (@chappers06) reported

@PostOffice I’m struggling to see what anyone’s problem with this is. In an abusive relationship card transfers/ payments can be tracked, saving £20 a week for years IS how some women get away. The PO aren’t plugging accounts, they are campaigning for physical currency not to be eradicated.

  • brianwhelton Brian Whelton (@brianwhelton) reported

@PostOffice Is this a euphemism? Or do you think Lucinda likes the idea of being accused of stealing money that never existed?

  • Lynzb99 Lynsey BF4 #RTID💙 (@Lynzb99) reported

@PostOffice It really looks, in my opinion, in very bad taste

  • emmmahhhhhh Emma (@emmmahhhhhh) reported

@jasrichards2 @sarahcrowsnest @PostOffice Exactly! And no mention of the company donating any funds to domestic abuse survivors etc. We’re just fed up of companies exploiting sensitive issues like this for profit. It’s exactly *because* I understand that this ad really hit a nerve.

  • zasch17 zasch(זאש) (@zasch17) reported

@PostOffice Cash costs a lot , causes many fraudulent issues, and is a virus vehicle, so why keep it? Stefan can use a contactless card to do all of that and more, without having to carry & count cash

  • darrenmdr darrenmdr (@darrenmdr) reported

@PostOffice Why does Bjorn leave a cash tip that someone walking past could steal? Why not just go to a cafe where people are paid properly. If you are trying to advertise the importance of cash to digitally disenfranchised people, this doesn't work.
