Anyone in Wrexham having problems with Sky internet download speeds. Trying to watch a programme on ITV catchup and it keeps stopping saying it’s downloading! A speedcheck shows less than 9 mbps which is rubbish. @SkyUK

Of course many have gone to @SkyHelpTeam on Twitter to check. The dodgy looking email is genuine but this is very poor practice. Even with my Dashlane password manager doing most of the work, it took me a while to check account & my two Sky emails.

@SkyHelpTeam Hi;yes I took the 2for1 football offer on Sunday then Monday night they knocked off channel402 so early Tuesday morning I phoned&complained&told Sky2 axe the offer as they had broken the contract. After a long call they agreed to knock off the2for1offer but still no revised bill.

@SkyHelpTeam Did all the steps and seemed to think that my broadband is working....which it isn't! The hub is on but the issue is that every provider is down in this area due to a BT open reach issue. I just can't seem to find where I can log this with Sky as the tests keep saying it is fine.
