@CateSevilla @virginmedia They then tried to fine me for not sending their 'hub' back and refused to refund the house move cost I'd paid a few months earlier. So so incompetent! SO stressful when all of us work from home too. I moved to TalkTalk & is cheaper and no problems so far, at least :)

Wow. Reported internet issues to @TalkTalk at 10am, had an @OpenreachHelp engineer turn up at 4pm to fix the problem. Same day!! Luke, my engineer, was a real delight and tried everything he could to help. 🤞 seems to be fixed now 🤞 you've saved me a lot of stress, thank you!

@DavidBeckitt @virginmedia In my experience (so might be wrong), all the others use the same BT/Openreach infrastructure - so much of a muchness. I’ve got TalkTalk, it’s cheap & the new router is good. The customer service is poor tho’!

So 76 year old isolating parents only have access to family via internet cant upgrade their poor package - bought them a portal and it’s connection is poor due to @TalkTalk lack of service and care.

@TalkTalk terrible service. My bereaved mother was cut off despite a request to transfer the account to her name when my father died. We were then told to open a new account, but you would no longer offer a phone line. A manager was supposed to call me 3 weeks ago, but nothing.

@fleming77 Yep. Looks like good reviews. TalkTalk like everything else drop their customers once they grow. I was really patient with them stayed 20 years. Now time to move. They have also become more expensive. I do t have mon network at home so broadband is crucial.

They said I have a default on my account and it’s affected my credit. I said I don’t owe this money, I’ve never used the product. I had to ring talktalk finally, when I could, and they said it wasn’t cancelled because a router was in transit, yet it never came in all those months
