I'm posting my problems with TalkTalk to emphasise my point that the railway social media teams are ahead of not just other transport modes but other industries. The e-mail problem affecting me began at 10.00 on Friday. It finally appeared on the TalkTalk service site 45 min ago.

@CateSevilla @virginmedia They then tried to fine me for not sending their 'hub' back and refused to refund the house move cost I'd paid a few months earlier. So so incompetent! SO stressful when all of us work from home too. I moved to TalkTalk & is cheaper and no problems so far, at least :)

@DavidBeckitt @virginmedia In my experience (so might be wrong), all the others use the same BT/Openreach infrastructure - so much of a muchness. I’ve got TalkTalk, it’s cheap & the new router is good. The customer service is poor tho’!

@TalkTalkBizCare cancelled my account in June 21 and paid upfront the costs until the contract ended in December 21 but still getting billed because someone in talktalk didn’t do their job. I cancelled the contract and went with Virgin, terrible service at talktalk
