@TalkTalk This is getting funny, @TalkTalk . The engineer was booked for today in the morning. 4:13pm and no engineer, therefore no internet. Bad news for me is that I need to stay with you until November... But it seems any penalty will worth the change...

@TalkTalk it is stressful dealing with the repercussions of a bereavement, it doesn't help when your attempts to cancel are being dealt with by someone who sounded like he was working from a pre-lockdown pub. Loud cheering in the background just does not sound professional.

@TalkTalk I have just learned an elderly friend is paying about £60 monthly for a basic broadband and phone package when it should be about half this amount. Is there a dedicated number I can call for such an issue? Treating vulnerable customers like this is not the way to run a business.
