Paul Bibby (@Paul63B) reported from Richmond, England@UB5simon I'm on TalkTalk. They're not perfect but my research tells me none of them are. I hardly ever get connectivity problems & they're cheap. I now find the best approach to customer services is to avoid them unless 100% necessary, which means only when I have a hardware problem.
-
Dominik Lipnicki (@dominikymd) reported from Send, England@Gummo31 @David39133380 That's a different argument. He is saying that he will forcibly take these companies back. Imagine if you had shares in TalkTalk or Sky Broadband and the government nationalised that service, you would lose everything
-
Rory Cellan-Jones (@ruskin147) reported from Lambeth, EnglandLabour plan involves spending £20bn on rolling out a full fibre broadband network to all by 2020 - then providing free service to every home and business. But not clear where that leaves Virgin Media, TalkTalk etc
-

Carolyn Saunders (@EndzoneFilms) reported from Wandsworth, England@TalkTalk my internet is down again. Second time today. You didn’t bother responding to my first tweet hours ago. Maybe you’ll respond to this. I am so bloody sick of your crap service. I’d be better off using smoke signals to communicate.
-
Carolyn Saunders (@EndzoneFilms) reported from Wandsworth, England@TalkTalk Gee, here’s a surprise. My broadband is down. -
Rob Ranby (@Rob_Ranby) reported@John_the_hawk @TalkTalk I told them exactly this on the phone to their foreign call center, three times! They completely ignored me. Zero thinking outside the box or common sense. They can't help if it's not in the script in front of them.
-
mpc (@Scampicus) reported@TalkTalk Never known a company to do so much to make life impossible for the customer. chat service doesn’t work, phone service doesn’t work, X messages useless. they say DM us and make sure they switch off DM’s .
-
mpc (@Scampicus) reported@TalkTalk It’s an absolute joke. You ask irrelevant questions via your chat bot and then hang up telling me you’ve tested. I have had no chance to explain the problem. Worst customer service I’ve come across in years. And ‘ phoning on behalf of someone with a disability
-

Pratab Ali (@pratab_a) reported@DrMarianaClaire @TalkTalk I left talktalk in March 2025 best decision I made. Price increase £35 for 75M. Moved to Vodafone £25 for 150M. Talktalk worked over cityfibre and regularly had random outages their end. Vodafone also on cityfibre. No problems so far. There was one outage but that was explained.

HelpInfoSupportline. (@QuickHub1TT) reportedHi, I'm Destiny from TalkTalk we're sorry this has happened. So we can help you, please provide us with: • Your full name and the following: •Email address used •WhatsApp number
-
Finiasfinn (@Finias) reported@TalkTalk Way way too late for that!! You should have helped every time I raised my lack of good connection and then perhaps when you lost mt service completely but claimed it was fixed!!
-
Tigol (@bigoltiddies) reported@JU51LNS @TalkTalk It was never YOUR email, it belonged to TalkTalk and they simply rented it to you as a perk of being subscribed to their service. You've cancelled or are cancelling so they're no longer giving you a free email and instead asking you to pay. BT does/did the same. As did/does Sky. Virginmedia just straight delete the email address after 90 days. You're making a deal out of nothing. Pay the fiver a month and use the time to port out valuable emails by forwarding them to your other email then when you're confident you've got it all transferred, cancel the payment.
