  • mikej2504
Michael Jones (@mikej2504) reported from Walderslade, England

@virginmedia offers social tariff of £12.50 for 15mb which is slow. Better option almost anyone with BT £12.50 for 36mb and Vodafone £12.50 for 38mb. Virgin also has £20 for 54mb but is higher price than most others offering same.

  • Scott_Wic
Scott Wickham (@Scott_Wic) reported from Rochester, England

@virginmedia My request to support was about the hub5 and some Wi-Fi extenders/boosters which I’m entitled to, they said that it was sorted and would be in the post and now only the hub5 has turned up!!! Does this mean I have to contact support again…….

  • MarcusNovius
MNovius (@MarcusNovius) reported from Royal Tunbridge Wells, England

@virginmedia I've been trying this morning via the phone, online chat and WhatsApp, all I get is robots going in a loop. This is daft I don't want to leave but the only option is to cancel!

  • lewis_adam_
Adam | Lewis (@lewis_adam_) reported from Ditton, England

@virginmedia Tbh just looking in to cancelling the current package, nothing but ongoing problems with Virgin Media and impossible to talk to someone on the phone without going on hold for hours and even they they can’t resolve issues. Issues stemming back 5years now! 😠

  • onearmedjohn
Onearmedjohn (@onearmedjohn) reported from Gillingham, England

@virginmedia I’ve had two lengthy phone calls with your ‘technical support’ people; it briefly got quicker then stopped working completely. On their instructions I’ve changed some settings on my router which apparently may take 48 hours to fully take effect…

  • mikej2504
Michael Jones (@mikej2504) reported from Walderslade, England

@virginmedia When I am advised by City Fibre when the service is going live I will then choose an alternative supplier all of which will be cheaper than Virgin and then advise when I would want your service disconnected

@virginmedia Thanks not your fault but its an awful business plan. I cant do anything to renew my account so it will cancel. 😵‍💫🤯

@TheFreds I've been with O2 since the very beginning and never had a problem. Even better now they've teamed up with virgin media.

  • RobinHall115
    Robin Hall (@RobinHall115) reported

@APTSArchive @virginmedia Beware the spam help page that has added posts. Unfortunately a too common trend. Our rail operator is frequently being spammed on its customer account.

  • Guacamole_Hater
    ❌️ (@Guacamole_Hater) reported

@elliviant I've got just broadband with virgin media (worst customer service in the world) and I'm paying £21 for 250mb. Also this reminded me I forgot to pay my bill 2 days ago so thanks for this haha 😭

  • stephenm68
    Stephen Maddock (@stephenm68) reported

Day 23 without our @virginmedia broadband (or phone, or TV) so I’ve celebrated by spending 90 minutes on hold with the “Customer Services” team and responding to the email from the Complaints team telling me that they had fixed my issue (spoiler: they hadn’t). Pathetic!

@virginmedia when is the issue with sky sports plus due to be fixed? It’s been going on for ages now and I would like to know a fix date please. Thanks.

  • PeteNCFC1862
    Pete (@PeteNCFC1862) reported

@Derek959Derek @RayJones34 All the big 3 providers do it via the Good Things Foundation, apart from EE and BT who have there own arrangements for helping with data poverty. These help people on benefits so official status and a NI number is needed . Virgin Media O2 Vodaphone 3 do it via Databank .

  • johngunn2
    johngunn (@johngunn2) reported

@virginmedia @CliveR39 The last time I checked a couple of days ago it gave an estimated fix of 28th August. Which considering it’s been at least a week since it went down is a considerable length of time to not receive the service we’re paying for.

  • dansmurph
    Daniel Murphy (@dansmurph) reported

@DartingMelon @alexand979677 @virginmedia Easiest thing to do is phon them up and ask for a loss of service credit, they literally have to give you the money back. No need to wait for the ombudsman etc. you only really need that when your at the deadlock stage
