@virginmedia I also don’t need to monitor the quality of my broadband, I already know it’s awful. I don’t understand how that would help.

@virginmedia Can you check that I will be receiving a credit on my next bill as it has been down since Friday afternoon and I don’t think it will be fixed by 12pm today, I think that time will get changed again.

@virginmedia Hi, for the 2nd time it appears you’re trying to charge me for a call out when I wasn’t supposed to be charged, I’ve already called once about this and was told it was corrected but it’s happened again? I’ve had to cancel my DD until sorted as due to come out 2morrow

@virginmedia You’re not understanding. I do contact when the issue is happening, your advisor then fixes it, but it then happens again within 24 hours. I need a ‘once and for all’ fix. Not this whack a mole approach you’ve had so far.

@virginmedia I was also promised a call back from a manager within 24 hours on a phone call on Friday afternoon. I did not receive this phone call. This is absolutely disgusting and I expect something to be done. I rely on your service for my income as I work from home. (2/3)

@virginmedia can you confirm if there’s active engineer trying to rectify the service outage Manchester (M30). Widespread issues reported according to your service outage on website ?

@virginmedia Could the problems in the area have caused damage to the equipment? As it was working fine before. Do I get compensation for all this time as the earliest appointment is Friday 14th?

@virginmedia Oh, my bad. Apparently the wiring outside my house has a fault, someone did come last Monday to work on it,and someone was supposed to work on it for Thursday, but it keeps being pushed back (order ref 55230469).

@virginmedia I first informed Virgin Media that my internet was down via online chat on Friday afternoon. Will this have automatically been the time when my loss of service was registered as at the time the advisor said it would be fixed in 24 hours?

@virginmedia my internet has been down since Friday afternoon. I was told it would be fixed in 24 hours, the time has since changed and is currently at 8pm this evening. I work from home so need my internet back up and running before Monday morning. This is disgraceful

@virginmedia 2/2 who can I speak to as it was working fine on Friday until the issues that were nothing to do with me happened, so don’t see why I should now pay for a technician
-
Liz Tuite
(@tuite_liz) reported
from

@virginmedia See thread above, nothing changes except the time of the estimated fix. It must be very localised as not everyone in my area is affected. So if it is damaged cables, I haven’t seen anyone out repairing them over the weekend, it’s a joke

@virginmedia I looked and that says it’s from the day I registered the total loss of service which was yesterday but really it should be from Friday afternoon when I did the online chat. If I DM you can you check?
-
Adam Gardiner 💙
(@_AdamGardiner) reported

@virginmedia Will they help if the Wi-Fi is working at the time I call? Because my issue is that when it is working, your advisors consider their work done despite telling them that it usually doesn’t last. And invariable, it doesn’t.
-
Adam Gardiner 💙
(@_AdamGardiner) reported
from
Sale, England
@virginmedia It’s everything connected via Wi-Fi. I don’t have the connect app. I check for service status on your website and it usually says there isn’t an issue, but that doesn’t reflect my service.
-
Adam Gardiner 💙
(@_AdamGardiner) reported
from
Sale, England
@virginmedia It works intermittently. When I speak to an advisor they fix the issue at that moment. Then, the next day it’ll cut out again and the process repeats. It was working when the engineer left, but it didn’t last 24 hours. Intermittent isn’t good enough. I rely on you for work.

@KaiJValentine @virginmedia Aah Virgin suck at customer support. I remember having to deal with them when trying to cancel my Internet and TV bc I was moving and their service wasn't accessible for me. They only helped when I made noise on the community help page on their website and people got mad at them.

@vmbusiness shocking service, no broadband for 26hours now. Nobody answering your phones, just a pre-recorded outtage message with no timescales or updates at all. How about using all them shareholder profits on your absolute dogshite customer service department.

@JenClone @virginmedia I've been with Virgin for over 20 years (same company under various guises). Customer loyalty counts for nothing - totally fobbed off after recent problems. Made to feel I was trying to rob them and was being unreasonable. Near impossible to have a conversation with anyone! Poor.
-
SotonCyclist
(@CyclistSoton) reported
@virginmedia No I’ve been told since Tuesday it’ll be fixed in 24hrs, you status checker says everything is fine, calling in says it’s broken, no one is giving answers its a disgusting way to run a customer service system if you can actually call it a service

@virginmedia No outages reported but everything else seems to work fine on the TV. Dvd player. Xbox etc. Just the virgin TV doesn't appear to have any signal and the WiFi is gone completely
