@virginmedia Hi there, I was told I would receive my replacement broadband by today and still no indication of when it’s going to arrive. Any help?

  • tuite_liz
Liz Tuite (@tuite_liz) reported from Atherton, England

@virginmedia I first informed Virgin Media that my internet was down via online chat on Friday afternoon. Will this have automatically been the time when my loss of service was registered as at the time the advisor said it would be fixed in 24 hours?

  • AnianaAbrudan
@AniAna98722504 (@AnianaAbrudan) reported from Urmston, England

  • Rik_Ashton
Richard Ashton 💙🇺🇦 (@Rik_Ashton) reported from Ashton-under-Lyne, England

@SkyUK My Sky package is slowly edging up. Some new customer deals from a couple of years ago have worsened discounts but... I'm still around £30 a month better off than when I was with Virgin Media. Never going back.

  • sharper76
Smyth Harper 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️🇺🇦☘️ (@sharper76) reported from Manchester, England

@virginmedia No it’s not, and it has now transpired that your customer services agent told me a direct lie that there was a fault in my area when there is not. Someone else has now booked an engineer to come out - next Wednesday. I can’t even have my heating on as that’s controlled vía wifi

  • tuite_liz
Liz Tuite (@tuite_liz) reported from Atherton, England

@virginmedia Could the problems in the area have caused damage to the equipment? As it was working fine before. Do I get compensation for all this time as the earliest appointment is Friday 14th?

  • mikekateley
    Mike-Kateley #RejoinEU (@mikekateley) reported from Ashton-under-Lyne, England

@virginmedia isn't my money good enough for you? Been waiting for 2weeks for you get back in contact about why my house is the only 1 on the street who can't get the service. Phoned customer services who can't help. Not very good customer service.

  • SiManM20
Simon Manning 🇪🇺 - SiManM20@mstdn.uk (@SiManM20) reported from Manchester, England

@nrgloz @virginmedia Your paying 75% of what we are for 35% of the d/speed there. Neighbour has just switched to Brsk - it’s full #fttp so 1Gb both up/down rather than the 52Mb UL Virgin offer via DOCSIS. £40pm

  • SeanKeyes
Sean (@SeanKeyes) reported from Manchester, England

@virginmedia I was heavily sold a renewal based on an engineer installing+configuring everything as we are meant to have the fastest Wi-Fi possible.I installed it and no sign of an engineer,no follow up from Virgin. As per usual. Was also sold some ‘VIP service’ line that’s never been shared!

  • CallyRaven
Carol Rowles (@CallyRaven) reported from Westhoughton, England

@virginmedia 3 times in 3 weeks we are without internet! We are paying for a service we are not able to use! Are we going to be compensated for this?

  • Laura_May_Ness
Laura May (@Laura_May_Ness) reported from Manchester, England

Hi @virginmedia I have just moved into a new apartment where Wi-Fi is included. I have registered as a resident and I have received a pre-contract email but no account number and I am unable to connect to the Internet. Can you help me set things up?

  • bludav_andrew
👽 (@bludav_andrew) reported from Manchester, England

@virginmedia Hi, for the 2nd time it appears you’re trying to charge me for a call out when I wasn’t supposed to be charged, I’ve already called once about this and was told it was corrected but it’s happened again? I’ve had to cancel my DD until sorted as due to come out 2morrow

  • Hasbullins
Hazbullins (@Hasbullins) reported from Salford, England

@virginmedia New call of duty released today and your Internet service is down. Are you taking the full piss out of me here? Wankers

  • dantheman8t5
Daniel McDermott (@dantheman8t5) reported from Dukinfield, England

@virginmedia Not as yet. Just that my postcode seems to be affected when checking service status

  • _AdamGardiner
Adam Gardiner 💙 (@_AdamGardiner) reported from Sale, England

@virginmedia Will they help if the Wi-Fi is working at the time I call? Because my issue is that when it is working, your advisors consider their work done despite telling them that it usually doesn’t last. And invariable, it doesn’t.

  • barrys59
Barry Slater (@barrys59) reported from Barton upon Irwell, England

@virginmedia still no service M27. 4th hour! Rubbish!

  • ErHes1997
Emily (@ErHes1997) reported from Timperley, England

How can @virginmedia say "yes there's a problem in your area, we expect it to be fixed on Wednesday"... 5 days is a joke when you'll never see that money returned to you for lack of service provided

  • Rayzor74
Ray Morgan. NHS💙🇺🇦 (@Rayzor74) reported from Stockport, England

Good start to the day with @virginmedia informing me my monthly bill is increasing by £15/month and I have until the 17th of April to decide on my options. That is £180 annually. Having been firstly a Nynex customer and a Virgin customer since the takeover think it may be time

@SarahLudford @virginmedia @O2 That's why I left them unreservedly, an utter arse to try to interact. One system not talking to the other, no human to help sort. Mid contract hikes. Went to Sky - no regrets, easy xfer & lower bills

@virginmedia @BBCWatchdog Virgin Media do not care about there customers, they don't take serious complaints seriously! They take unauthorised monies then fail to refund ! They make it up as they go along. In other words please sort out my refund ASAP.

  • gloucesterglass
    Gloucester Glass (@gloucesterglass) reported

@virginmedia Yes, it said issues with broadband and tv, but it’s been 3 consecutive days now. Plus like I said I can’t get mobile signal and I don’t live in the middle of nowhere so dependent on wifi calls unfortunately.

  • TinklerTommy
    Tommy Tinkler (@TinklerTommy) reported

@miss___kb Yep I have used google family and virgin media security whilst kids grew up. You can block anything you want or them and restrict sites and device time and you get to okay anything they install on the device. Most adults as thick as pig **** to use them.

@RichardLXXII @virginmedia Simple. Arrange a new supplier. Cancel direct debit. Commence a claim under the direct debit guarantee scheme for the un-agreed unauthorised increased amount Never have anything to do with @virginmedia again Except for suing for damages for falsely registered credit reference
