Keep getting some threatening emails from #virginmedia about the return of media kit. Still waiting for them to pick up as a previously agreed confirmation date was made via their site. Worst customer service ever #virgin #virginmedia

@cliffchapman @LGUK @virginmedia It'd be a challenge as the broadband is upstairs in the front of the house and the TV is downstairs at the back. But the connection has been v reliable... and seems to be elsewhere on other devices. The TV also keeps losing my Galaxy S10 signal too, so I think it's the problem.

@virginmedia Eventually. Very poor service. Your call centre staff are difficult to deal with. So disappointing as your broadband and TV are so good.

@virginmedia Just Apple, they struggle to connect and buffer whereas non Apple laptops are fine, for example. Either that or it’s our WiFi? Please help?

@virginmedia Having now wired the TV in via an ethernet powerline kit, the problem is definitely with the Internet, I'm afraid... as the Chromecast on the WiFi system in the same tv is cutting out periodically when the TV isn't. Do you do WiFi boosters or something similar?

Unsolicited sales call from @virginmedia offering me an upgrade but pay more! Why would I pay more when the services you already provide are slow & outdated with zero customer service. Prove it works & then maybe 🤔 but £99 a month is already too much!

@dj_damien @virginmedia I once had an advisor tell me that my services (that were going down for an hour or so once a day, every day for a week) must have had no issues because I was downloading tens of GB a day. Can’t wait for BT to put their gigabit lines in round here. Will switch in a heartbeat.

@virginmedia why won’t my Apple devices work properly on your personal WiFi? What is the solution or should I start charging my phone data bills to you. Your boss heads to space, brilliant but his customers can’t get consistent WiFi in the 21st century. Please help.

Since the latest updates my @LGUK TV keeps losing signal. It could be a coincidence and our @virginmedia broadband might be being rubbish, but the disconnections at random are getting tiresome.

@virginmedia your customer service is appalling! After more than 20mins, I finally spoke to someone who confirmed an engineer had been booked. When I checked via chat today I was told no appointment had been made and after a further 30mins offered an appointment a week later.

@virginmedia After a few days of monitoring speeds wired and via WiFi, the problem is WiFi speed dropping intermittently when not adjacent to the hub3. The hub4 offers more aerials so better coverage. How do I get one?

@JohnnyDude1983 @virginmedia According to virgin, any more than 8 devices (including lightbulbs) and they won’t look in to issues and they would expect it to drop all devices randomly

@virginmedia It’s not resolved.... If your job is in customer support could you at least make the effort to read the whole tweet? It’s ridiculous, I’m paying for 1gb download speed and 50mb upload and getting <1mb for each. I would like to request compensation for the last month.

@virginmedia I think using people for advertising aswell is disgusting.... fix your **** outdated servers before you try charging for a service you are unable to deliver.... money grabbing, lazy, never willing to accept fault when it's clearly you and customers are always wrong. Great ethic

Ahhh @virginmedia ! The one service that once you tell them you want to leave they rinse your service and tell you constantly that you haven’t previously told them you’re leaving and up the charge to leave. How abouttttt you work? And we wouldn’t have to leave?

Following the death of my father, I notified @virginmedia on 15 Feb. Two phone calls and a promised callback that didn't happen have just spent 25 minutes on the phone before being cut off. 40 years my father had been a customer - I think that is about to end.

@virginmedia @FidelUK You always do this. You should at least be honest with customers when your services are down. Based on the complaints it looks like you were down countrywide this week. I now have to work during the weekend to make up for time spent fluffing about with intermittent connection!!!!
