-
David (@Aldehulme) reported from Oldham, England@virginmedia I need to speak to somebody regarding a broadband problem without you running a check that will cut me off the internet. How do I get past this to speak to a person?
-
Sean (@SeanKeyes) reported from Manchester, England@virginmedia I was heavily sold a renewal based on an engineer installing+configuring everything as we are meant to have the fastest Wi-Fi possible.I installed it and no sign of an engineer,no follow up from Virgin. -
Emily (@ErHes1997) reported from Timperley, EnglandHow can @virginmedia say "yes there's a problem in your area, we expect it to be fixed on Wednesday"... 5 days is a joke when you'll never see that money returned to you for lack of service provided
-
Paul Terry (@SurrealPaulT) reported from Manchester, England@virginmedia hi Virgin. We had an outage of broadband and TV services beginning 23rd Sept which lasted for 4 days. At the time we were told we would be compensated for this loss. As it hasn't come off our latest bill, how do we claim?
-
Edwin Daniel (@EdwinDa18453545) reported from Stockport, England@virginmedia @richardbranson @VirginMediaCC unethical practice & worst cust serv.after 50 days of total loss of service and no resolution and taking 52 pounds for that period from me now they are denying compensation as well as refund of monies taken.
-
Adam Gardiner 💙 (@_AdamGardiner) reported from Sale, England@virginmedia It works intermittently. When I speak to an advisor they fix the issue at that moment. Then, the next day it’ll cut out again and the process repeats. It was working when the engineer left, but it didn’t last 24 hours. Intermittent isn’t good enough. I rely on you for work.
-
Mark Armstrong (@mark001282) reported from Manchester, England@virginmedia I've been a customer for 10 years. Is this how your treat your loyal customers?
-
Liz Tuite (@tuite_liz) reported from Atherton, England@virginmedia I looked and that says it’s from the day I registered the total loss of service which was yesterday but really it should be from Friday afternoon when I did the online chat. If I DM you can you check?

johnsonhomes (@johnsonhomes2) reported from Sale, England@virginmedia If that was the only issue than yes that would be the logical next step. But as you’ll see from the previous tweets and email sent on Wednesday it isn’t. All the issues need dealing with in the round or otherwise I’ll have to cancel and go back to sky.
-
Adam Gardiner 💙 (@_AdamGardiner) reported from Sale, England@virginmedia I also don’t need to monitor the quality of my broadband, I already know it’s awful. I don’t understand how that would help.
-
Barry Slater (@barrys59) reported from Barton upon Irwell, England@virginmedia still no service M27. 4th hour! Rubbish!

Can somebody arrange a callback please?

Liz Tuite (@tuite_liz) reported from Atherton, England@virginmedia 2/2 who can I speak to as it was working fine on Friday until the issues that were nothing to do with me happened, so don’t see why I should now pay for a technician

Adam Gardiner 💙 (@_AdamGardiner) reported from Sale, England@virginmedia Will they help if the Wi-Fi is working at the time I call? Because my issue is that when it is working, your advisors consider their work done despite telling them that it usually doesn’t last. And invariable, it doesn’t.
-
Adam🍺 (@MCR_ADM) reported from Stockport, EnglandBeen on a live chat to Virgin Media since 9:30. WFH joys. Not much work has been done. But got my bill down. #CozzieLivs.

Stanley Percival Simmonds (@simmo1024) reportedIn addition, ISP have controls that block content. Virgin Media for example have a fairly fine-tunable system. If you go into any school of college, their internet is filtered. The technology exists to enable the bill payer to control internet access. But of course this is not, and never has been about protecting children, it is about digital ID.
