@putasinghonit @virginmedia Reminds me of when Vodafone sold my mum an iPhone for me on the promise it had good coverage in our area and upon discovering the signal was appalling the guy on the other side of the phone said “well you won’t live in that house forever”. No I’m just going to move for 4G!

  • twiddlemeister Dave/Давид 🇺🇦 (@twiddlemeister) reported from Cheadle Hulme, England

@virginmedia FYI, there’s an SK8 outage since approximately 4pm and you’re not reporting it on your outage checker. Multiple reports around here. Please get someone on it.

  • twiddlemeister Dave/Давид 🇺🇦 (@twiddlemeister) reported from Cheadle Hulme, England

@virginmedia All status checkers say no outage reported, which is rubbish because I know of at least 4 people who have reported issues in this area.

  • harness68 harness68 (@harness68) reported from Oldham, England

@virginmedia once again your connection speed is shockingly slow. Not sure why I pay for m600 lucky to get 50mb. To make things worse your chat never respondes and the phone is a joke. 25 years of taking my money and the service is getting worse. Think I will move to #BT

  • Oldham13 Oldham13 (@Oldham13) reported from Ashton-under-Lyne, England

@virginmedia 1. Bad Report ir 2 Oops, the page as timed out

  • emmafc87 Emma Caulfield (@emmafc87) reported from Middleton, England

@virginmedia been with you less than a week and our Internet has gone down more in that time than it has done the last 4 years with our previous provider!!!! If this carries on we will need to cancel 🤬

  • AimiMcNeill Aimi McNeill (@AimiMcNeill) reported from Wilmslow, England

Hi @virginmedia we are urgently awaiting a new cable to fix our WiFi and there's still no sign of it. I can't get thru to anyone on the phone current wait time is 3 hrs and last time you cut me off. Please can you advise?

  • essers Esjay (@essers) reported from Manchester, England

@virginmedia This the second time I’ve been on hold for an agent today. Just started the third time. I’d also note, in the bottom message, there is no ‘handy link’. There never is. I may have had that message more than ten times now. I just want to tell someone our new address before we move

  • emmafc87 Emma Caulfield (@emmafc87) reported from Middleton, England

@virginmedia It never ever says there is an issue tho when there clearky is!! So thats useless

  • essers Esjay (@essers) reported from Manchester, England

@virginmedia And I’m at the limit of my stress capacity. Please let me tell someone our moving date and transfer our services, or cancel my contract. I’m tired of this now. I really am genuinely sick of this, to the point where it’s impacting my health. If you don’t want my custom…

  • austingreenxxx Austin 💚 (@austingreenxxx) reported from Manchester, England

@virginmedia your internet is down… AGAIN… some peope that things to post

  • Natterback Mrs Jordan -Johnson (@Natterback) reported from Stockport, England

@virginmedia the advert offering new customers Superfast Broadband for £20. Is it not right that you take care of your loyal customers first, those that have been with you for 10 years plus. Considering the energy situation it would help.

  • essers Esjay (@essers) reported from Manchester, England

@virginmedia Then please at least have the grace to tell me so. I’ve been a customer so long you’d think I might be due some support, but this last year has just been dreadful. I’ve taken a phone contract I don’t want and been unable to get explanation for billing variances. It’s just ****.

  • bludav_andrew 👽 🇺🇦 ☮️ (@bludav_andrew) reported from Manchester, England

I can’t believe @virginmedia can’t send out an engineer to fix my internet until Wednesday! (My birthday) I will miss out on the season finale event of Fortnite and tank my mobile data until then, plus have to go in the office to work! 🙃😢

  • TomW83mcfc TOM WILDE (@TomW83mcfc) reported from Manchester, England

@virginmedia Did all that check my service out

  • essers Esjay (@essers) reported from Manchester, England

@virginmedia That’s where I started, two days ago. The live chat sent me over to the WhatsApp service, so I wouldn’t be ******* waiting on my phone etc. I’ve given my details so many times, I practically know my account number by heart now. If you look through the chat history, you can see

  • twiddlemeister Dave/Давид 🇺🇦 (@twiddlemeister) reported from Cheadle Hulme, England

@virginmedia Yes it’s an outage and not an issue with our modem, or else others wouldn’t be affected. I’m on your business line, and whilst I appreciate that might not be something you can look at directly, it’s clearly an issue that needs resolving for everybody.

  • essers Esjay (@essers) reported from Manchester, England

@virginmedia I’ve been trying to do this via WhatsApp for three days now. I’m in a never ending loop of getting to the point where I’m referred to a agent, in the queue, & a couple of hours later, I get asked if I’m moving house, and the whole process starts again. It’s has just started again

Virgin Media Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • Land_Liberty 🇺🇦Geoliberal🔰#FreeLand🇺🇦 (@Land_Liberty) reported

@virginmedia can we schedule a call to fix broadband? I don’t want to wait three hours on the phone

  • PWalmsley9 Paul Walmsley (@PWalmsley9) reported

@virginmedia My home Internet wasn't working for a couple of hours this morning. It has since come up, gone back down, and is now working at a fairly average speed.

  • Gyroe182 Gyroe (@Gyroe182) reported

@virginmedia Hi guys, is there an issue with the website at the moment? Keeping getting Bad Request error. I'm unable to use live chat to discuss either upgrading or cancelling my existing package. I'm unable to contact via telephone at the moment, is there any alternatives?

  • iknowthewords Instagram Parsons (@iknowthewords) reported

@virginmedia It's in my phone contacts under Virgin Media. I've been a customer for 15+ years. Why does this number exist in 2022? It's flat-out criminal sneaky exploitation of anyone who happens not to have updated their contacts. It should be illegal to charge people in this way cc @Ofcom

  • karmayaga Nav (@karmayaga) reported

@virginmedia I am still experiencing outage.

  • rbays11 rbays@hotmail.co.uk (@rbays11) reported

@virginmedia Thanks for your reply. A simple conversation to cancel a subscription has been taken weeks and has not been processed on request 3 times, even when ‘confirmed’ by staff. I asked to log a complaint, another request that was point blank ignored.

  • StephT974 S Thompson (@StephT974) reported

@virginmedia Should have made it clear the package that was transferred is a full VM package, not just broadband, and will be transferred back when the work on our house has finished - hence why an 18 month broadband only contract is NOT needed - just the monthly so we cancel when done

  • markflyingv Mark Rasmussen (@markflyingv) reported

@virginmedia “We're sorry you're leaving…”, obviously not when you would rather let a customer of 12 years go rather than waive a £35 fee for equipment you promised for free… oh well, I’ve got a better deal with @SkyUK

  • cloudyoshimoto CloudYoshimoto (@cloudyoshimoto) reported

@virginmedia Yesterday, and that a manager was to call me. Nothing... Pretty fed up with this poor experience both in both network issues and support. I used to think Virgin were great until i moved to the 1Gb and just packetloss and latency which affects gaming massively.

  • sihanky Simon Hancock (@sihanky) reported

@virginmedia somebody needs to get in contact with me right now. Shambolic service to say the least!!
