@virginmedia the company that’s only looks after new customers, not long serving ones. Me: paying £34 for vivid100. New customers £29 or £34 for vivid200. VM customer services, well you can have vivid200 for only £54. 😳🤬

@virginmedia I didn't realise when I negotiated a deal I'd be automatically entitled to no compensation and rubbish customer services. Lesson learnt.

@virginmedia Rebooted my phone earlier, no effect. Not actually had to call or text anyone today, but my signal icon has said 'Emergency Calls Only' all day. I'll definitely check that signal strength link though, thanks.

@TrainedPengling @virginmedia The problem I have with this, is that whenever their broadband has gone down, so had my mobile with them at same time. Like when it all went down nationwide earlier this month. Having free 4g when you actually can't connect is kinda pointless lol

@virginmedia No, everything on there is telling me 'very good'. But! Ironically, during this very exchange, my signal has popped up (although it's now not as strong as when I started writing this Tweet). Looks like me looking at the website has scared it into working. :D

@virginmedia Nothing has happened today, I'm just commenting on your offer to give all broadband customers free mobile 4g when your broadband goes down. Whenever my broadband had gone down, so has my cellular connection also.

@Classicbritcom @virginmedia Yep. It's known in the trade as cancellation avoidance. Cancelling / removing products from your service goes against the advisor, so they do everything to avoid it. Send email / chat saying you refuse to pay from the current date, they will do it quick enough

@MPIainDS people in the E4 area have been unable to work for days due to the @virginmedia internet service having 0 upload speed. Every day they say it will be fixed by 2pm, every day it’s not fixed. Can you escalate this? They will not compensate for loss of earnings.

@virginmedia I've called this number at least a dozen time throughout Jan & Feb and they kept saying the issue would be fixed at 6pm the same day. That's why I'm contacting you here today to get clear answers which I can't get from the faults team #losingmyvirginit @Ofcom

@virginmedia well I did all that and......nothing, no replies, no actions, and got an email few days later saying 'your issue is resolved please rate us' nothing has been done. Is this a joke?
-
Adam Twiss

@virginmedia For 2 months your service has been dropping 2-3 times a week throughout my village. Your support staff deny there is a network issue. Yet - when I call an engineer out, you then cancel it saying there's a network issue that has been fixed. Still very broken.
-
Rich H Wand
(@Wandster) reported
@virginmedia VM knows what the problems are. VM knows all houses in the area would suffer from the issue , so you know when we're having problems. It's just frustrating that nearly every day we have big periods without broadband. And this has been going on for 2-3 weeks.
