Russell Norris (@rrrussboy) reported from Southend-on-Sea, England@virginmedia so after weeks of unbelievably poor broadband and customer service there was an offer from you to resolve the situation with a web chat at 11am, with a link being provided here. No link. I’m lost for words
-
Kelda🥤 (@keldaaa) reported from Canvey Island, England@virginmedia I can’t seem to find an email address or postal address for general queries, can you please provide me with one? My nan is now in a care home with dementia and we need to cancel her landline, broadband & mobile on her behalf so need to write to you to give details.

Now it’s gone down completely! On top of not being able to speak with anyone I don’t feel that your service is worth it! #rubbishservice

꧁༒☬𝓢𝓾𝔃𝔂𝔀𝓸𝓽𝔃☬༒꧂ 🌷🐼🎪⭐️👸🏽 (@suzywotz) reported from Gravesend, England@JooMarsden @virginmedia It appears it’s gotta be all our road .. surely others have reported an issue too hence it needs to be addressed rapidly lots of stressed and angry customers I’d imagine #notimpressed

Russell Norris (@rrrussboy) reported from Southend-on-Sea, England@virginmedia You’ve now sent me the same unhelpful link about compensation 3 times. This will only compensate me if I have no service, and as I have a service (albeit 3mbps) this, as I’ve repeated several times, doesn’t help me. Another example of poor customer service
-
VenusEnvi (@VenusEnvi) reported from Grays, England@virginmedia what’s the point of asking me to text when I’m ready to set up the new hub if your going to deactivate the old one before I’m ready!! Good job I have unlimited data on my mobile network!!
-

grizzly_gooner (@GoonerGrizzly) reported from Thundersley, England@virginmedia This seems to be the standard message coming from Virgin Media. “Computer says no”. If you can’t see the issue with this then you (Virgin Media) are the problem. I’m inclined to contact the ombudsman as you have sold me a service which you blatantly cannot provide or install.
-
Nick Bultitude (@bultifish) reported from Gravesend, EnglandHmm, #Skyglass is looking like a decent option if this #virginmedia outage becomes a habit.
-
Rob Green Jnr (@rob_green86) reported from Thundersley, England@westbrookdanni @virginmedia Up to 2 weeks ago I didn't have a bad word to say about them. The pure fact you can't get through to someone is the worst of it. Happy to take your money and trim your internet speeds!
-

Andy (@andyosb) reported@Ofcom @virginmedia did exactly the same thing to me back in 2019! It was - and still is - the worst customer service experience of my life (and I'm now 65). I was just so relieved to escape them eventually. They're utter scum. Do yourself a favour & don't go anywhere near this company
-
Steve Williams Fan Club (@TMSH71) reported@BBCBreaking If you think Virgin Media are bad, Virgin Mobile were beyond useless, so much so they 'joined forces' with O2. Good riddance to bad rubbish

Emmanuel – Big Tech & AI Investor (@EmmanuelInvest) reported🚨 UK Regulator Fines Virgin Media £28 Million ($37.4M) Ofcom has slapped Virgin Media with a £28 million fine for systematically preventing customers from cancelling contracts over nearly three years (Jan 2022 – mid-Sept 2024). Key Findings: - Deliberate call-dropping tactics - Excessive and unnecessary call transfers - Repeatedly putting customers on hold for no reason Ofcom described the failings as systemic and repeated. Background: Virgin Media is a joint venture between Spain’s Telefónica and Liberty Global. This is the second major fine for Virgin Media recently (previously fined £23.8M in December for issues with telecare customers during landline migration). Impact: Another hit to Virgin Media’s reputation in the UK broadband/mobile market.

-
GanAinm (@ainm_gan5505) reported@MartinSLewis Virgin Media is not actually Virgin, it’s a ****** American company called Liberty with a license to use the Virgin Media branding. The real Virgin company should take the license off them for driving the name through the ****.
-
Turkish_187 (@turkish_187) reported@Ofcom The worst experience I have ever had was signing up for @virginmedia and then trying to extricate myself from them. Took months and months and hours and hours of my time that I won’t get back. So glad to see this news. The irony was they never even connected me. Shambles.
