  • AViTSCJ
Scott Jackson (@AViTSCJ) reported from Gravesend, England

@virginmedia why is it when you request cancellation of service via phone and getting cut off mid call , then sending and email and also trying to chase via web chat which I also sent my request for cancellation and then move out two months later . They keep the account open 🤬

  • rrrussboy
Russell Norris (@rrrussboy) reported from Southend-on-Sea, England

  • MarkPashby
Mark Pashby (@MarkPashby) reported from Southend-on-Sea, England

@virginmedia still no connectivity at all for me in SS0. Running a successful ISP should also surely include upda ting customers when issues arrise. Internet connectivity in this day and age is a utility, not a nice to have. #virginmediadown

@virginmedia your internet has been rubbish recently with varying speeds as low as 5mb 1 minute then 95mb the next! Now it’s gone down completely! On top of not being able to speak with anyone I don’t feel that your service is worth it! #rubbishservice

  • 1CreativeRay
Dr Stower and the Stock Market of Madness 🦍 (@1CreativeRay) reported from Wainscott, England

@virginmedia Hi VM, I ordered a replacement remote control for my TIVO box. Just realised that was a couple of months ago but it never came. When trying online again it says as I’ve had one within six months I can’t order another. Please check that the first was ever sent, thanks

  • tolu_____
Tolu (@tolu_____) reported from Basildon, England

@virginmedia How about just provide me a link to download the less than 10mb of pdf? Admin fee to provide a link or email a customer of over 3years? What have you offered me in return for the many times of INTERRUPTED service when I’ve had to turn to my mobile hotspot?

  • tmacbond
Tmak (@tmacbond) reported from Wickford, England

@Ofcom @virginmedia How on earth can you on a simple change over of service that your representative said or was an easy job & you still 5months later still being billed & endless promises not kept now it’s calls eating into family time & not end in sight!! Help

  • GoonerGrizzly
grizzly_gooner (@GoonerGrizzly) reported from Thundersley, England

@virginmedia A number of times. But let’s be honest, they’re nothing but messengers. There is no escalation, and they can’t even call the construction company to escalate issues. As someone who has worked within many projects teams, and mapped business processes, yours is simply shocking

  • JamieMeecham
Jamie Meecham🏳️‍🌈♥️ (@JamieMeecham) reported from Canvey Island, England

@virginmedia care to explain why a member of staff felt that hanging up on a customer complaining about their broadband is acceptable? And now I’m stuck on hold AGAIN to solve my issue.

  • wonky61shaky
Penny Rolfe (@wonky61shaky) reported from Southend-on-Sea, England

@virginmedia When are you going to refund me for many days without a wifi signal

  • rrrussboy
Russell Norris (@rrrussboy) reported from Southend-on-Sea, England

@virginmedia I’ve spent over 2 hours on the phone and I lost count of people I’ve spoken to when I got to 12. That’s just today and this has gone on for weeks. Pretty sure you would’ve lost me as a very longstanding customer by the time 28 days is up.

  • VenusEnvi
VenusEnvi (@VenusEnvi) reported from Grays, England

@virginmedia what’s the point of asking me to text when I’m ready to set up the new hub if your going to deactivate the old one before I’m ready!! Good job I have unlimited data on my mobile network!!

  • mostly_sleepy
    Kat (@mostly_sleepy) reported

@Simon_Whale @virginmedia They never said anything about wanting our broken 2nd TiVO back (had been broken unknown amount of time, so cancelled), and we were going to take it to get WEEE'd. Seeing this I'm glad we put it off long enough that we needed a VM engineer for something else and gave it to him!

  • Tyler2558

@sephiroth17181 @virginmedia That’s the problem I have. WAN port on the Asus router I have is only 1GbE but the LAN ports are 2.5GbE (& can’t switch WAN port to one of the LAN ports for some reason).

  • WebBuildingFrog
    Anon frog poster (@WebBuildingFrog) reported

@Simon_Coates @Simon_Whale @virginmedia I have the same. Only issue I've had with it is the cable was short by 1m so I had to order a longer one (third party much cheaper) Installed it all myself, whole village is impressed.

  • NathanBhangoo
    Nathan Bhangoo (@NathanBhangoo) reported

@virginmedia I've been waiting for my broadband in the post for 3 weeks now, I'm living in an apartment that literally has no broadband so I can't do any work at home This is getting ridiculous now as they say that it's coming the next day and it never does.

  • jamiediscos
    jamiediscos (@jamiediscos) reported

@virginmedia 12 hrs so far with no WiFi, no tv service and more importantly, no phone! Why am I paying you an extortionate amount of money each month?

  • AsTrubludru
    A S Murray 🦔 (@AsTrubludru) reported

@ZDangermouse @virginmedia If you have a decent data plan, you can use your phone as a hot spot for your smart tv. I’ve done it for an Xbox a few times when my internet went out. Games are a little slow, but Netflix and other streaming services were good when I did it.
