    @virginmedia I’m afraid you’ve used the new deal trick before and look where we are. I am stuck without internet for a week and paying for a poor and inconsistent service. The server for my postcode M210ZN is down. Yet my wife who was working less than a mile away had no problems.

    @virginmedia Virgin generously said if I pay nearly £150 I can leave! I declined.. although i would have the £2 offered as compensation but I think I'll spend that on half a starbucks. I'll wait till my contract is up & im free. sky from what i can gather will be gaining shit loads of peeps!

    @virginmedia Nope.. i was told as its an outage fault which only effects a few addresses in my area. It doesn't show on a general test. Cant get an answer from anyone at virgin as to when it will be sorted. Its becoming a joke now.

    After 48+ hours I’m still without any phone service. Despite being in contact with customer support at @virginmedia for over 48 hours. Had to buy a temporary @EE SIM card in the end. Fed up and frustrated to say the least.

    @virginmedia Finally got through. Total loss of service - not expected to be fully back on until 29th of August! That’s nearly a week! Your service is appalling and you have the gall to be charging more. We will be looking at changing suppliers immediately.

    @virginmedia yes theyve srnt a signal over. the wifi worked for couple hours and then dropped again. signal is there but nothing happens loading up on laptops and tvs buffer. this only happens outside the room where router is have 2 x boosters supplied by you. 2nd call says speak to advisor

    @shorny_m @virginmedia At this stage, I’d happily remove walls! It was getting bad in lockdown1, but yesterday was awful. 3/4 live lessons interrupted and no work done. I’ve not added any furniture to the room, but could look at rearranging.

    @virginmedia (3) early termination fee would apply if I moved and the service wasn’t available. The agent withheld this information for one reason only - to get me to commit to a new agreement. There’s no way I would have entered in to a new agreement had any of the aforementioned points...

    @numpty_teacher @virginmedia I had the same problem and I’ve just bought a TPlink Archer A7 AC1750 - plugs into your existing router, not sure of the tech/science but last night I had much better WiFi across the house. £70ish on Amazon - might be worth a look.
