My dad has received a full bill despite being assured by every employee we have spoken to that he wouldn't be charged for the period he was without service (more than two months). Please advise
-
Howard Martin 🇺🇦🇪🇺 (@HJMKent) reported from Kidderminster, England@virginmedia You have just repeated, word for word, the last tweet you sent me, to which I replied! Pointless trying to have any conversation with @virginmedia because it just goes round in circles! The most appalling customer services in UK in my experience! No more tweets from you, please!
-
Howard Martin 🇺🇦 (@HJMKent) reported from Kidderminster, England@virginmedia I'd like to know why you discontinued my Netflix subscription? The service just stopped but I didn't cancel it? It was paid for in June but there is no charge due to be made in July! It was connected up to Sunday but today I just got a message asking me to rejoin?
-
Dave Yates (@dtyates) reported from Kidderminster, England@virginmedia Yes I had, as I said in a previous tweet the only status with issues is TV and an advanced Test states nothing is wrong
-
Howard Martin (@HJMKent) reported from Kidderminster, England@virginmedia Yes but I just tells me there are no problems. It did the same thing a few weeks ago but stopped when I held wifi button down - it's now constantly flashing & that wont stop it & web site says in normal operating all green lights should be off.
-
Howard Martin (@HJMKent) reported from Kidderminster, England@virginmedia You were going to send link 20 minutes ago - since then nothing! Too late now, I'm going out! Shocking service from Virgin as usual! I've had 3 failed attempts to order upgrade YOU insist I have (with treats of reduced service) & you make it like treading in treacle to achieve!
-
Howard Martin 🇺🇦 (@HJMKent) reported from Kidderminster, England@virginmedia Just to let you know I was billed by you for Netflix on 10 June, the subscription was not paid to Netflix by you - so they cancelled my account! You owe me a refund please! Also this was a issue as far back as May & Virgin were saying "they were addressing it" Still are it seems!
-
Chris Parkes (@SurfWorks) reported from Kidderminster, England@virginmedia I am trying to renew my media contract. I have been a Virgin customer since 2009. Any chance of getting someone to call me to sort this out?
-
MH (@Mijan93243645) reported from Kidderminster, England@virginmedia In March when I renewed my contract I was having a lot of issues with my WiFi service, when I called person on the phone suggested I need a booster in my house which they he/she can’t remember now said I should get it within few days, then lockdown happened and understandably
-
MH (@Mijan93243645) reported from Kidderminster, England@virginmedia It was hard to contact you to follow up, I tried many ways but was getting no where as everything seemed to be on automated, however again in April I was having more issues and it got to a point I went on Twitter and someone responded with a text service but again like always
-
Stu Jones (@StuJonesMusic) reported from Kidderminster, EnglandHi @virginmedia, I am in Kidderminster, Worcestershire (DY11) and my Virgin Media broadband connection is very poor this week. I have checked your website & apparently there are no issues in my area. I have also restated my access point/router twice but no improvement.
-
Howard Martin 💚 (@HJMKent) reported from Kidderminster, England@virginmedia Can you please explain why, when I renewed my package in March you reduced my last invoiced bill to reflect the change & took by DD what you said you would! Now you say you will suspend my service because I underpaid? You took what you wanted!
-
Abbie Walters (@abbiewx_xo) reported from Kidderminster, England@virginmedia Any advice on why our virgin media boxes have just decided to stop showing some channels. It says error code (W02) and this is on TLC which we used to watch daily?? Joke. What’s the point in paying for for a service which isn’t being provided?
-
Howard Martin (@HJMKent) reported from Kidderminster, England@virginmedia Still waiting! It's now after 4! You changed our old hub that worked fine - at your insistence - didn't properly set it up - my wife needs printer for work & uni course - now been trying to get you to sort it since Thursday & you don't honour your promises to do so! Poor service!
-
Tim Hazelwood (@timhazelwood2) reported from Bewdley, England@virginmedia my dad is a pensioner who has had no TV service for more than a month. We have called numerous times and not had resolution. Can someone please contact me to help sort this out
Virgin Media Issues Reports
Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:
-
Lucia (@LadyLucia05) reported@virginmedia Well that was not what I was informed when I have tried before, even when you have my husband down as vulnerable, I've had loss since last Friday while I was abroad, my home security is not working and im back and forth on here.
-
BlackMamboTR (@BlackMamboTr) reported@virginmedia ⸻ Serious trust issues with this company. Commitments were not fulfilled, and statements were inconsistent. Information provided by different representatives contradicted each other. Considering alternative companies is strongly advised.
-
D (@idczn) reportedThe only contract I ever signed with Virgin Media was in 2018, and it continues to this day. I have never changed or upgraded it; I only occasionally tried to report home network connection issues. It turns out that in November 2024, a two-year contract was accepted, which I only found out about in 2025 when I wanted to cancel their services. I couldn't leave them XD However, checking who did this on my behalf and when (because it certainly wasn't me) was impossible, as I had no way to log into my Virgin account Now I cansee- the accepted contract has different number? There is no any signature of mine- and information that was sent to e-mail: back then controlled by hacker
-
Scott Osborn (@Drscooto) reported@virginmedia Is this still a problem? I just rebooted my STB and now it useless with a CS1010 error.
-
guygorilla (@guygorillacity) reported@Benleo @virginmedia Agree - worst company - taking more than fixed price contract stipulated from an old age pensioner.
-
Dee Jarvis 🟪⬜️🟩🏴🇬🇧 (@DeeJarv34798927) reported@Benleo @virginmedia My experience - engineer comes in to fix box. Tells me to put 'dog away!' I say 'no, she won't come into the lounge or bother you' 'Tea, coffee?' I say 'No' 'Water, fruit juice?' I add 'Fruit, fruit' he says I return with apple & banana He grabs both & puts them in his bag 🤨😖
-
Sir Moanalot (@Sir_Moanalot_) reported@Benleo @virginmedia They are awful. I’ve been stuck with an exorbitantly priced rolling contract because I plan to move house soon and have no idea if wherever I move to will have VM cable in the street. Zero reward for customer loyalty. When I do finally move, @virginmedia can get in the bin.
-
F Smith (@fsmith82) reported@virginmedia no internet as box is out of date (family member had same issue a few weeks ago) & engineer can’t come until Monday. Why aren’t you contacting customers to upgrade BEFORE we loose a service we pay for???????
-
Helkhiana (@helkhiana) reported@saltyy_savage I had Virgin media for years and only issues and expensive contracts. I am on Plusnet right now £43/46 for 900mb with 0 problems and uk customer services. They do £3 increase yearly and I am curious to see my first contract end what I'll get. Bet still better than virgin
-
Mia (@LondonMum2025) reported@Benleo @virginmedia I’m having the same issues with them
