Dear @virginmedia, I've since Sunday registered at least 10 events of the loss of my broadband service, only Wednesday was problem free because I was not at home. Your portal provides an ETA to resolution only for the service to fail again. What is the problem in Manchester?

@virginmedia We are due to have a new cable fitted outside as we have had months of issues which I have contacted virgin about regularly leading to an engineers visit. The engineers suggested updating our boxes and getting some pods to assist with signal- just ring up. Which I did no good

@virginmedia The issue is this has been a daily problem, your customer wants this fixed, it's like taking your car to the mechanic everyday to fix whatever is wrong with it, it begs the question, what is the problem in Manchester that the engineer has had to return daily to fix, since Sunday?

This situation with the unstable and unreliable @virginmedia broadband service is unacceptable and untenable, my work and business depends on this service and I am unaware of any 'Act of God' scenario that has informed this situation, at least you have not bothered to contact me.

@virginmedia Not really much point trying to get you guys to help to be fair, this has been ongoing since July and we are still no further forward. Worst WiFi I have ever had and you are stealing money and not paying it back, absolute worst company I have had the displeasure to deal with 🤬

@virginmedia Basically that we have to pay for ghost call charges despite the fact we have not made them and they are clearly computer generated and down to an IT issue

@virginmedia You cancelled an installation that I had waited 3.5weeks for on the 6/12 for 21/12. When I called to discuss I spoke to 4 different people as the grasp of English of some of the call centre staff was so poor. In the end I cancelled the contract and went to sky.
-
CactuarMike
(@CactuarMike) reported
@virginmedia You have arranged an engineer to the property to see if there is even an issue (as if the issue hasn’t already been there and confirmed by an engineer 6 months ago), and I was slapped with the add-on “if the engineer confirms that the issue is not with VM you will be fined £25”.
-
Sarah
(@Sass1975) reported
@virginmedia The engineer was very helpful and disconnected the main socket and routed via the hub. He agreed the calls looked auto generated and went to check the outside box when he left. We do not use the phone, haven’t since last year when the reception was so bad we gave up.
