@virginmedia Bedroom installation contracted weeks ago for ill person. Didnt happen. Scant, apathetic apology, told new date might now be few weeks. Was held up collection from hosp awaiting techs that never came. We've no clue what's happening when, nor the effort to keep trying for it.

  • josh_moreton Josh Moreton (@josh_moreton) reported from Birmingham, England

@virginmedia Yes the whole service is down and I’ve already registered the faults over the phone and I’ve used the app to get text updates. But the resolve time keeps changing and there no description to the fault itself.

  • unit_1974 🐺Wolfish (@unit_1974) reported from Birmingham, England

As well as the hub randomly disconnecting from various home control devices; Alexa, Sonos, Dyson… the @virginmedia TiVo Box now seems incapable of playing BBC iPlayer! This service, despite having the most up to date equipment and checking every setting & connection is rubbish.

  • A_J_92 Ash❗️ (@A_J_92) reported from Birmingham, England

@virginmedia I want to order the sim only which is on offer which ends tonight. I am trying to bring my no. Across from another network i have the PAC I've put this in the form when ordering online but getting an error message

  • nigeyp Nigel P Harris (@nigeyp) reported from Birmingham, England

Sick of the shit customer service in the uk. 3 calls to @virginmedia trying to get them to repay a credit & after being put on hold for 10mins they hang up each time. #Useless #virginmedia

  • markshawnwo mark shaw (@markshawnwo) reported from Birmingham, England

@virginmedia I'm trying to get our bill down paying 134 a mouth is to much got the VIP package the first caller said could get it down to 99 then said no because we can't get 500 mb in our area got cut off now been on phone another 50 mins

  • stevegoodman Steve Goodman (@stevegoodman) reported from Nuneaton, England

@virginmedia No, I wasn't and that's why when customer service couldn't offer anything close to the competition or your own "new customer" offers I cancelled, prior to the first tweet. If you valued your existing customers, then once out of contract, you'd be able to offer similar deals.

  • A_J_92 Ash❗️ (@A_J_92) reported from Birmingham, England

@virginmedia do you have an email address I can email on to cancel please I've tried phoning and its a joke!

  • josh_moreton Josh Moreton (@josh_moreton) reported from Birmingham, England

@virginmedia any news on what the issue is in west Birmingham, had no phone, internet or TV for 19 hours now. Fed up of ringing the automated customer service number.

  • stevegoodman Steve Goodman (@stevegoodman) reported from Nuneaton, England

@virginmedia I gave them a call before mentioning it on Twitter. I've sent in a complaint as a last attempt before I subscribe to another provider.

  • notdodgy Roger Leitch (@notdodgy) reported from Solihull, England

@virginmedia Chat session indicates there is still a fault, with an estimated fix of the 26th. So basically I can expect very poor broadband for over a week.

  • stevegoodman Steve Goodman (@stevegoodman) reported from Nuneaton, England

@virginmedia - Out of contract and tried to switch to a deal on your website. Customer services refused, claiming the £250+ more a year option I'm on is the best you'll offer. I ended up cancelling, as I'm not paying over the odds - sad I have to leave though & hoped for better!

  • EgglestonMathew Mat 🏳️‍🌈 (@EgglestonMathew) reported from Birmingham, England

@virginmedia Nope no difference . Usually do this 3 times a day and normally solves the problem

  • A_J_92 Ash❗️ (@A_J_92) reported from Birmingham, England

So I left @virginmedia over 18 months ago as they tried to rip off a loyal customer and had no customer service experience or knowledge at all. I thought I'd give them another chance just by grabbing a sim only deal as the offer was attracting. say no more, Sim cancelled!

  • notdodgy Roger Leitch (@notdodgy) reported from Solihull, England

@virginmedia After an hour in a chat session, which involved factory reset of hub, the problem persists. Agent then goes and checks to advise a fault in my area - estimated fix this evening. Wondering if I am now back into the old fortnightly failure cycle..

  • Tedtalks13 Teds (@Tedtalks13) reported from Aldridge, England

Starting to have all the same Connectivity problems with @virginmedia as before even now we have their “best” hub. Fed up of having connectivity issues with our supposedly connected home. One minute it works, the next it stops for no reason. All settings checked and correct.

  • unit_1974 🐺Wolfish (@unit_1974) reported from Birmingham, England

@virginmedia Thanks you for this. I’m at work 12hrs today so won’t be calling. Very disappointed over the past 2yrs of issues. I’ve called customer services multiple times and made two complaints previously. Still not resolved so will be switching.

@virginmedia How are things? Called an engineer out yesterday, confirmed there was a fault for a few of us. Said they would be out last night to fix. What do you think has happened 5 minutes ago?

  • parkedanywhere Parked Up Anywhere ⎊ (@parkedanywhere) reported

@virginmedia how can you offer people fast broadband YET your actual website is ALWAYS having problems? Just curious 🤨🤔

  • nhwhite1 Nick White (@nhwhite1) reported

@virginmedia So your best customer service is to put up with no broadband, incomplete TV coverage, one part of my package not working at all due to Virgin removing it, until Thursday???? I would say unbelievable but sadly it's not.

  • sjthemarsh Stu (@sjthemarsh) reported

@virginmedia Yesterday at 1830/1900. Your team didn’t confirm anything, the automated line confirmed there was an outage. It’s still persisting, with no further information on what the nature of the fault is or when it will be resolved.

  • MisSeffay Misseffay (@MisSeffay) reported

@virginmedia hello! Been trying to create an account on VM Community to lodge a complaint but can’t as website says username is contained in password (it’s not!). Been going on for weeks and we need to contact assistance team!

  • PaulDexter Paul Dexter (@PaulDexter) reported

@virginmedia Unfortunately not, I was very happy to hear the offers I had to confirm I was the account holder, the first line of my address and post code, before any offers could be mentioned. I have been down this road before the next questions would be letters of password. You called me!

  • jamesturner2109 james turner (@jamesturner2109) reported

@virginmedia Ok I’ve text but your customer service reps are a joke .

  • Ilikecreamcakes Pam Giles (@Ilikecreamcakes) reported

@virginmedia I’ve raised a complaint after trying since 7/7/22 to renew my contract. Misinformed by Virgin agents and still my account shows the wrong contract info. Reply to my complaint doesn’t add up either!

  • njconnolly2000 Nicola Connolly (@njconnolly2000) reported

@virginmedia I signed up to have broadband installed back in June, you have cancelled my installation 4 times now, either on the day or late the night before. No info, no explanation. This is disgusting and appalling customer service, been waiting 4 months now and want to cancel

  • 3_monk Monkenstien. (@3_monk) reported from Beechwood, Wales

@virginmedia I get your bills, that is how I realised as a loyal customer I am paying £40 plus a month for Internet access only. Fortunately for me and not for you BT Openreach have been installing fibre to home allowing me greater negotiating power as tou have no respect for loyalty.
