@virginmedia I have a CS1028 error on my new box. Never used. What shall I do? I called but said there was nothing that could be done …????? #virginmediadown

  • pwingers Paul Wingfield BSc CEng MIET (@pwingers) reported from Sutton at Hone, England

@virginmedia To be fair, the TV is better via Virgin and download speeds are good too (most of the time) but you fall down on broadband reliability, upload speeds and landlines costs.

  • LonesomeJay Looney (@LonesomeJay) reported from Dartford, England

@virginmedia, when I call to terminate, and I'm informed that I could have been paying 26 quid a month less for the same package, the knowledge that my current rate is a con makes me less likely to stay

  • bultifish Nick Bultitude (@bultifish) reported from Gravesend, England

Hmm, #Skyglass is looking like a decent option if this #virginmedia outage becomes a habit.

  • elise_john85 Elise 💉💉💉💉 (@elise_john85) reported from Maidstone, England

@virginmedia How do I find out what the service address is that you are using as you seem you be saying that the billing address means nothing

  • yas326 Yasir ( ̄(工) ̄) Khan (@yas326) reported from Sutton at Hone, England

@virginmedia It just says, it looks like you are having trouble connecting

  • onearmedjohn Onearmedjohn (@onearmedjohn) reported from Gillingham, England

@virginmedia This is so tiresome I have complained so many times about slow broadband speed, unreliable WiFi, terrible TV services & only after threatening to leave did you send an engineer in July. This made it a little better, but recently it’s been unreliable of an evening.

  • elise_john85 Elise 💉💉💉💉 (@elise_john85) reported from Maidstone, England

@virginmedia Can you tell me how to correct the address on my own! Apparently it’s been incorrect for the 4 years we’ve had your service!

  • elise_john85 Elise 💉💉💉💉 (@elise_john85) reported from Maidstone, England

@virginmedia The billing address is incorrect though. Your don’t supply the service to the address on the bills

  • heyitsant Antony Collett (@heyitsant) reported from Maidstone, England

Hey @virginmedia, why is my issue still not resolved? I've spoken to several agents over the past 2-3weeks, all of whom said it was sorted. I have an open IT ticket and this is the reference number P010931869 .

  • pauldee74 Paul Dwyer (@pauldee74) reported from Grays, England

@virginmedia 02038271376 is this one of your numbers been getting calls for 3 days saying there virgin and problem with my internet!!!

  • pwingers Paul Wingfield BSc CEng MIET (@pwingers) reported from Sutton at Hone, England

Can anyone tell me why @virginmedia upload speeds are so slow? Downloads are fine but 10Mbs is ridiculous cw my friend's @BT network.

  • onearmedjohn Onearmedjohn (@onearmedjohn) reported from Gillingham, England

@virginmedia No and there’s no point. You’ve had two years to fix this. I’m not paying any more and you can sue me. See you in court.

  • pwingers Paul Wingfield BSc CEng MIET (@pwingers) reported from Sutton at Hone, England

@virginmedia 100mbs download is fine, but 10mbs upload is silly in this age. It's too slow for uploading to YouTube.

  • elise_john85 Elise 💉💉💉💉 (@elise_john85) reported from Maidstone, England

@virginmedia O2 have the correct information. The bills from Virgin have the wrong flat number on them. How do I know what you have for the service address? This isn’t clear on the website

  • onearmedjohn Onearmedjohn (@onearmedjohn) reported from Gillingham, England

@virginmedia I think she was recording a fault as far as I could make out due to her poor English

  • elise_john85 Elise 💉💉💉💉 (@elise_john85) reported from Maidstone, England

@virginmedia I haven’t activated a service. I tried to look at whether I’m eligible and that’s the screen I get

  • pwingers Paul Wingfield BSc CEng MIET (@pwingers) reported from Sutton at Hone, England

@virginmedia Yes I have but the download speed is fine. The problem is that you peg the upload speeds down to 10mbs. We used to get that over copper cables. It's time to step it up a notch.

  • SUEG46 Sue Groves MBE (@SUEG46) reported from Rochester, England

@virginmedia we seem to have WiFi still but our sky box has lost connection.. is this related to the issues you have?

  • 190Colditz 190Colditz (@190Colditz) reported from Sutton at Hone, England

@virginmedia The Broadband is down in our postcode. Your fault system says there is no fault and asking each resident to log a call out which is nonsense. DM me and I’ll give you full postcode so you can sort it out.

  • DK_Grinding DK Grinding LTD (@DK_Grinding) reported

@virginmedia No I’m in work at the moment! Wired isn’t the issue it’s going into the hub! What Wi-fi speed do you state I should get min 1 foot away from the hub

  • Sukh_Nandhra Sukh Singh Nandhra (@Sukh_Nandhra) reported

@virginmedia So a known issue and expecting issue to be resolved by 6pm. How are we supposed to work from home effectively? Paying ridiculous amounts for a decent speed and no proper service over last 24hours... Will I get a reimbursement?

  • john_docherty_ Jonny_twobowls (@john_docherty_) reported

@virginmedia hi, your Broadband is down in the M27 area and has been for a few hours, any ideas when the issue will be resolved please?

  • stublack78 Stu (@stublack78) reported

Come on @virginmedia down again. You’re stupidly expensive. I’m only with you for the broadband. If that goes downhill I’m off.

  • PasDeDeuxBetty PasDeDeux 💙 (@PasDeDeuxBetty) reported

@virginmedia Now why didn’t I think of that 😱 - of course I looked - no issues reported

  • lauracfisher Laura Fisher (@lauracfisher) reported

@virginmedia I have checked - it says there is no issues in our area yet I have had no Wifi for the last 4 days

  • Ethanmayer1 Ethan mayer (@Ethanmayer1) reported

@virginmedia Still very slow 35mbps up is not good enough neither is 50mbps up on your gig plan for £69. You are way to expensive for what your giving.

  • liam_alane liam (@liam_alane) reported

Just so everyone knows. @virginmedia are only responsible for you wired connection. Not your wifi speeds. So when you paying for high broadband speeds but your wifi keeps cutting out. That’s your problem. But you can buy an extender for a 5er a month so that’s a bonus!

  • james_h_kerr James Kerr (@james_h_kerr) reported

@virginmedia It's not been ideal, but as the fault is/was intermittent (and never visible when they visit) I understand the process they have gone through. They were great and explained everything they were doing and why.
