Vodafone Issues Reports Near Woodford, England

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in Woodford and nearby locations:

  • Sonic_Screwup Sophie Petzal (@Sonic_Screwup) reported from London, England

Here’s where the intelligence of technology falls down. I suspect the phone is in stock but not in the colour I arbitrarily ordered. They’ve not said ‘hey, if you ask for the space whatever, we can give you that!’ so I’m just left wondering...@VodafoneUK

  • wibblewobble70 WildmanFett (@wibblewobble70) reported from Hackney, England

@jamieswb @vodafone @VodafoneUK Same thing happened to me. Vodafone Didn’t cancel extra data...removed app access so I didn’t see till a £150 bill arrived via debt collectors 😡

  • adamkeeler adz (@adamkeeler) reported from London, England

4 calls over the last 2 days from @VodafoneUK offering me broadband or iPads for more ££ getting annoying now as a Vodafone customer for 14yrs

  • RishiMadlani Rishi Madlani (@RishiMadlani) reported from Camden Town, England

They did actually cancel it after 2.5hrs... & 2 attempts to sell me other Vodafone products I didn’t want or need - really poor customer service - your telephony team were amazingly, worse Counting the days until the end of @vodafoneUk contract & telling anyone who will listen!

  • maddiefallsover Maddie (@maddiefallsover) reported from Hammersmith, England

Would like to thank @VodafoneUK customer service for being a bloody lovely group of people.

  • RishiMadlani Rishi Madlani (@RishiMadlani) reported from City of London, England

Have had the most horrific customer experiences in my life with @vodafoneuk @vodafonegroup what should have been a simple task of cancelling an unused contract (5th attempt) - the chat operative took nearly two hours trying to sell other products & call operator just hung up! 😡

  • jenkothegreat Jack J (@jenkothegreat) reported from Wandsworth, England

@VodafoneUK Despite promises nothing at all has been done since I raised my query. It is really terrible and the worst customer experience I have ever had. It is really shameful that so much money is spent on advertising but you can’t look after our customers. @VodafoneCust

  • pilkunnussija Comma Lover (@pilkunnussija) reported from Camden Town, England

@VodafoneUK: Please fix my cellular data service. Check your DMs.

  • life_of_nads Life of Nads (@life_of_nads) reported from Islington, England

    @Evertonzck @ThreeUK @Apple @EE @TheO2 @VodafoneUK Damn! Can’t believe they don’t even have any in stock anywhere... such a mess 😭

  • life_of_nads Life of Nads (@life_of_nads) reported from City of London, England

@Evertonzck @ThreeUK @Apple @EE @TheO2 @VodafoneUK Waited 2 hours to speak to customer relations at Three. Finally someone explained to me that it’s basically because Apple hasn’t delivered the phones to anyone and they’re waiting for a new batch...

  • MarkProwse64 Mark Prowse (@MarkProwse64) reported from Kensington, England

@VodafoneUK please advise me about the app. It stopped working. I reinstalled but still not working

  • MarysiaT Marysia Trembecka (@MarysiaT) reported from City of London, England

Wow. . @VodafoneUK no Internet service in Central London. Your first fix has made it worse & now been on hold for 13 mins to no avail #badservice #Vodafone

  • ninac_x N I N A (@ninac_x) reported from Crayford, England

@crofty52 @VodafoneUK @O2 O2 are just as shit! EE is where it’s at

  • dantran88 dantran 🇨🇦 (@dantran88) reported from Camberwell, England

@VodafoneUK I agree. Very poor service.

  • _EmsMarie 🦄 (@_EmsMarie) reported from London, England

@VodafoneUK I know that. The issue is that I’m not using my phone any differently to how I normally would and the data is just constantly dropping. I used to have at least 3-4gb left toward the end of the month and now I’m lucky if my 16gb lasts at all.

  • breadwidow Catherine Mottram (@breadwidow) reported from Camberwell, England

@VodafoneUK my broadband is down, been on waiting to get through for over 40mins with no indication of length of wait time or opportunity for call back. Rubbish

  • dantran88 dantran 🇨🇦 (@dantran88) reported from Camberwell, England

@VodafoneUK Your customer service is appalling. My home broadband has been down all evening and the app was useless in providing any resolution. We had to attempt several phone calls due to continual errors with the voice recognition. 1/2

  • RishiMadlani Rishi Madlani (@RishiMadlani) reported from Camden Town, England

You can help by letting me leave my two remaining contracts with you early... I really don’t want to have to deal with @Vodafoneuk ever again after such terrible service 😡

  • Sonic_Screwup Sophie Petzal (@Sonic_Screwup) reported from London, England

@jcampbell_05 @VodafoneUK For some reason I just went ‘yeah sure midnight green’ because it was the first option but holy shit I don’t care I just want my upgrade. But Vodafone sort of weirdly assumes you won’t be open to Any Other Option.

  • gakhan Gohar Khan (@gakhan) reported from City of London, England

@VodafoneUK your customer service and retention is going bad to worse. Leaving you soon to find a provider that cares about what customer wants.

Vodafone Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • marlapropism Velma Dinkley 🇺🇦 (@marlapropism) reported

@GeorgeMonbiot @JonSavage1966 @VodafoneUK If they need a spoonful of sugar to help the medicine go down, they can subsequently use these new structures and procedures to advertise themselves as having the best, customer-oriented service in the market.

  • M731Z5 OA (@M731Z5) reported

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK My mother always gets calls from Vodafone forcing her to get an “upgrade” despite my many attempts telling vodafone not to call or add us to their sales list, terrible company and their customer service is even worse

  • bigbirdnorth Rachael A (@bigbirdnorth) reported

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK Additional to your (great) list - a code of conduct for dealing with elderly people (including but not limited to dementia) which includes not pressuring to replace PAYG with contracts and supporting them to cancel easily if phone is not being used on contract. 1/2

  • beardyrock 🤘🏻 Beardy 🤘🏻 (@beardyrock) reported

@GeorgeMonbiot @PrettyHatMech @VodafoneUK (2/2) Can also lead to corner cutting or agents ‘half-arsing’ things to keep call times down. Obvs don’t know if Vodafone do this as have never worked for them, but it is quite common in call centre operations particularly if they are outsourced rather than in-house.

  • MOLLYBRUSH1903 Elizabeth (@MOLLYBRUSH1903) reported from West Bridgford, England

@MsChrisTwit @GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK They have been crap as far as I’m concerned. Four weeks since I sent in Grant of Probate. Twitter help request manned by immature unprofessional presumably youngsters who “hope” it will work out whilst being unable to directly contact them

  • JMMills9 🌻J M Mills 🇺🇦 🇪🇺🇫🇷🇬🇧🦮🐈‍⬛🦮 (@JMMills9) reported

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK What a well-thought out and considered thread. Sorry you had to go through so much unnecessary hassle after your sad loss. I was a vf customer for 15 years and had countless fruitless calls. Eventually changed provider out of frustration.

  • ragwortfacts Neil Jones (@ragwortfacts) reported

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK 2. I had phoned about nuisance text audio calls from their network which I didn't want. Operative: Can I have your name and address please sir? Me: (Not wanting nuisance letters) Why? Operative: How do you spell that? Not a question of national origin but of competence!

  • jonosurfboy jono (@jonosurfboy) reported

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK How about these principles being drafted into legislation so all companies do not treat their customers appallingly, deceased or otherwise. They’ve got away with this behaviour for far too long. Send it to your mate Penny. An early policy for her.

  • PrettyHatMech 🄿🅁🄴🅃🅃🅈 🄷🄰🅃 🄼🄰🄲🄷🄸🄽🄴 (@PrettyHatMech) reported

@ebullienteddie @GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK The unfortunate outcome of many of the metrics is they drive an obsession to hitting quantitate rather than qualitative targets and the end result is dehumanising the service.

  • CraftyOldGit Mike Wilson 🐟 (@CraftyOldGit) reported

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK These are excellent suggestions. Any company who doesn’t already do most of this is negligent and likely to damage its reputation. The shareholders should be demanding these policies to protect their investment. Whining about the cost is short term thinking.
