    @VodafoneUK Thank you for your excuse. You’ve known for at least 20minutes. It takes very little time to send a message out which simply reads “We are having issues with our network which may affect you making or receiving calls. We’re working on getting this fixed as quickly as possible.”

    @VodafoneUK Don’t you think you should push a notification, email or text to your network to let them know they may not be able to make or receive calls?! You know... basic customer communication/care? I wouldn’t have known if my husband hadn’t facebooked me that he can’t get hold of me

    @VodafoneUK @OpenreachHelp An engineer came to install a line for a neighbour from box on my house. He was super rude and aggressive and when he left out internet no longer worked please help

    @GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK Plus not requiring elderly people to produce info they do not know to cancel eg date of contract commencement. Plus acknowledging that elderly people can lose/mislay phones so you can’t make cancellation of contracts conditional on them receiving messages on it!

    @Moonbeamsplay @GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK I agree. Our problems with Vodafone could be easily solved if we could just speak with a human (assuming they employ staff who are decently paid and well enough treated to be motivated to contribute to Vodafone's success).

    @GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK Additional to your (great) list - a code of conduct for dealing with elderly people (including but not limited to dementia) which includes not pressuring to replace PAYG with contracts and supporting them to cancel easily if phone is not being used on contract. 1/2

    @GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK Another question might be "has there been concern that customers are using 'I'm bereaved' as a way to cancel contracts? Have you discussed this internally? Has it produced any guidelines for staff or change in bonuses?

    @GeorgeMonbiot @PrettyHatMech @VodafoneUK Many years ago, when I worked in a call centres for energy companies and BT we had an AHT of 90 seconds. Irrespective of issue being raised by the customer. Going over this 'regularly' led to a "chat" with you manager
