The problem is that the people manning their social handles don’t have any more information than is available on their website and, crucially, no authority. It’s so damaging to the brand.

It takes very little time to send a message out which simply reads “We are having issues with our network which may affect you making or receiving calls. But almost the same situation too. I had a service that never worked cancelled and returned the router and then they claimed it was never cancelled.

I picked up a leaflet on it from the Registras office when I went to register the death. It's a brilliant service to contact all the utilities, financial services and pension providers.
