Latest outage, problems and issue reports in Tibenham and nearby locations:

  • csauverin Caroline Sauverin (@csauverin) reported from Brooke, England

@broadsgirl @bt_uk @OpenreachHelp Glad it’s sorted but very frustrating. Our internet stopped every time the thermostat kicked in. Engineer replaced thermostat with one that didn’t have worn wires, when I told him that it was the issue but problem came back. Now have a digital thermostat and working internet.

  • scoop2far Matt (@scoop2far) reported from Norwich, England

@bt_uk how is it that when you own the backbone of broadband in the uk you still manage to provide service levels so far below any of your rivals? 2 weeks of failing service and no response from BT... rubbish

  • SharkScubaDave David Holmes (@SharkScubaDave) reported from Norwich, England

@jordysniper @btsportwwe @btsport I have asked the same question on more than one occasion! The biggest issue for me is the lack of response! Might as well cancel if the service isn’t going to be up to scratch! Very poor from @btsportwwe @btsport #badcustomerservice

  • CJCliffe_FCIPS Chris Cliffe FCIPS (@CJCliffe_FCIPS) reported from Norwich, England

@bt_uk lost broadband in Norwich NR6. Fault found... ...but an update by Thursday 17th??? Seriously, the last thing I need in 2020 is broadband to fail. Please, get a move on.

  • DJJoshuaRoberts Joshua Roberts (@DJJoshuaRoberts) reported from Norwich, England

@bt_uk Why is BT WiFi/FON not working in Norwich?

  • Paulfo Paul Foster (@Paulfo) reported from Harleston, England

@bt_uk @BTGroup You could easily turn it on for all of us. Stop being horrid and just do it.

  • Paulfo Paul Foster (@Paulfo) reported from Harleston, England

@bt_uk I'd have a much brighter opinion of @BTGroup if it was just on. It is after all a network service that in this day and age should be on. I've turned it on for my elderly mother who has been plagued by these calls. I hear of others falling for the calls and losing £1000s.

  • vineet_shah_007 Vineet Shah (@vineet_shah_007) reported from Norwich, England

@bt_uk Much more than receiving download speeds 5-17Mbs and up load speeds of 0.3-1Mbps for 3-4 weeks does not full fill average speeds of (down)47Mbps and (up)18Mbps of the stay fast guarantee.

  • NinaBrown79 Nina Brown (@NinaBrown79) reported from Norwich, England

@bt_uk We’ve had ongoing landline issues (our phone has never worked)! But nothing no and no haven’t. I’ll DM you

  • GeordieCanary Dave Montgomery (@GeordieCanary) reported from Thorpe St. Andrew, England

So. It appears that #virginwifi has gone down. Thank goodness I am with @bt_uk providing a seamless connection. I can’t recall my Wi-fi ever dropping. Champion.

  • rolledchef rolledchef87 (@rolledchef) reported from Thorpe St. Andrew, England

@davie19tour @btsport 😛 you are easily the worst team to watch in England. Which is extremely sad thinking of the man utd teams I watched as a kid. Also I fully expect everyone to beat us 4-0 mate haha we spent nothing

  • GeordieCanary Dave Montgomery (@GeordieCanary) reported from Thorpe St. Andrew, England

Thank goodness @mrjakehumphrey and @btsport covered #ncfc v #Chelsea The unbalanced coverage from @BBCMOTD / @GaryLineker where it was Chelsea Chelsea Chelsea is rather poor.

  • SeanGreentree Sean Greentree (@SeanGreentree) reported from Attleborough, England

@bt_uk I haven’t. But will give it a go. However, my old Premium account is suspended as I was told to cancel the DD on that when I took the new account out - as I’d get it free. But that hasn’t stopped the payment chasers and hence eventual suspension. I’ve explained this many times!

  • SeanGreentree Sean Greentree (@SeanGreentree) reported from Attleborough, England

I’m beginning to think that I’ve made a bad choice in @BTCare. 5 lunch hours in a row trying to get my old Premium email account transferred to my new Broadband account. Email now suspended, so made a complaint. Told I’d get a call back in hours. 5 hours on and I’m still waiting!

  • vineet_shah_007 Vineet Shah (@vineet_shah_007) reported from Norwich, England

Service received from BT advisors pathetic. Fault reported on my line on 1-09-2019 before 7pm did not send me a mini hub as their keep connected promise and could not be bothered to fix it till today as called them for the 7th time on 13-09-2019. @BTCare @bt_uk

  • Hutsandar Ian Hutson (@Hutsandar) reported from Occold, England

@BTCare are there issues with the BT hubs being reported, mine is dropping out constantly...

  • TheRefinery68 The Internationalist (@TheRefinery68) reported from Norwich, England

@bt_uk Just normal on my iPhone there was a problem yesterday with an outage

  • vineet_shah_007 Vineet Shah (@vineet_shah_007) reported from Norwich, England

@bt_uk Need much more than a compensation as for the time I have spent calling and following up what has happened to my complaint, and all for a fault that was out my premises.

  • SenninhaPete81 Pete C of WWE (@SenninhaPete81) reported from Botesdale, England

@btsport J mir, v rossi and J Miller when advertising them on bt sport with that stupid model they don't speak with an American accent. Fgs 2 of them are Australian and Italian. Fans say its stupid 😤too sort it out. #MotoGP

  • MortyMark Mark Newstead (@MortyMark) reported from Norwich, England

@ChrisElliott66 @bt_uk Yeah I am in Aspland rd, so not far away. It was only when I started talking to neighbours they said " oh yeah, mine too". Service status on BT website doesn't even acknowledge there is an issue.

  • CarolynOtley Carolyn Otley (@CarolynOtley) reported

@cumpstonarchive @bt_uk However, practically, it’s worth people knowing it’s worth trying a 999 call from their mobile even if they don’t think they have a signal/phone isn’t showing a network. 999 calls will go through on any available network, not just yours, but not everyone realises this, (2/2)

  • AnxietyUnited Anxiety United (@AnxietyUnited) reported

@LickyJimmy @btsportufc @btsport The worst thing is that now we've come on here to bring it to their attention, its impossible to do that without seeing the results of the fights 🙄

  • BrechinYes2 YES Brechin (@BrechinYes2) reported

@bt_uk Turn it down 2 degrees, wear a woolly jumper and you'll save twice as much again. Woolly Jumpers. Means Scottish sheep farmers would get some return for the fleeces. Good for Scotland. Try one sometime. DavieS.

  • Classyyy8 Classyyy (@Classyyy8) reported

@bt_uk Love waking up to the broadband for bt in the whole village being down, I've got 4 assignments due tomorrow and barely any data

  • cumpstonarchive ✨Glenys Marriott 💙✨ (@cumpstonarchive) reported

@CarolynOtley @bt_uk I agree Carolyn, the first time I’d heard about this. Our reception is so poor we can only use mobile phone via broadband 😡

  • TheNerdometer Nerdometer (@TheNerdometer) reported

@bt_uk Every time I search in the box office "Jake Paul" for the event it brings only up "Jake vs Tommy" so I assume it is not updated so I click the 7 day thing left and it says it doesn't work.

  • TheNerdometer Nerdometer (@TheNerdometer) reported

@bt_uk Are any of you going to actually help or just sit doing nothing? What sort of customer service is this?

  • mooramana Karen (@mooramana) reported

@bt_uk In other words you can pay an additional sum to still not be connected when their system fails & they don’t repair it for 5 days …. A great business model for BT. Not so much for the customer!!!

  • JoxVox David Monteath - voiceover with a proper studio. (@JoxVox) reported

Excellent news form @btbusinesscare my December bill includes £245 for an engineer visit that the engineer concluded was an intermittent line problem at their end. So, still got vaguely dodgy internet and even though BTs responsibility they expect payment.

  • CarolynOtley Carolyn Otley (@CarolynOtley) reported

@jamclarkey @cumpstonarchive @bt_uk I think the issue here is a lack of rural proofing. Yes, on average most power cuts are short. But when you live in a remote area, they tend to last much longer, you’re far less likely to have a mobile phone signal, and you’re far less likely to be able to drive to safety. 1/2
