I have spoken to a few people whom also have the same issue. There's also 100's of posts online about it. Trying to game is virtually impossible the second someone boots Netflix.

-
Mark Howell (@MarkTheSnap) reportedSo, this new digital voice from @bt_uk If the internet is down you can't use your landline. Guess what, the internet is down so we don't have a phone. We can't get a mobile signal in our area, that's why we have a landline. This is progress apparently.
-
AM (@itsmeitsmeandy) reported@bt_uk and by any chance if you @giffgaff can actually get of your backsides and at the very least give me a engineer appointment date been waiting a month now nothing maybe i should cut out the middle man and contact your friends @virginmedia directly
-
CG2009 🦓🦓 (@CatherineG2009) reported@btbusinesscare Not helpful really. Any business needing help has to wait for Tuesday. Absolutely useless service. Currently experiencing THIRD week this year of broken service. Bank holiday should be my busiest time, but I’ve had to close. 0/10.
-
Asif Rana (@HounslowParking) reported@bt_uk I'd like to know why your business broadband so called service, can only compound its utter uselessness with skyscraper level brain numbing stupidity? I thought @vmbusiness was utterly indescribably ****, until you came along. You literally make them look like geniuses.
-
MouseMat (@andymousemat) reported@bt_uk @virginmedia @CityFibre I need to report massive internet outage in the following postcodes NE1 TO NE38 DH9 DH1, DH6, DH7 TS26, TS27, TS28 11564 - Riyadh Saudi Arabia 21442 - Jeddah Saudi Arabia Internet must be down as "Visitors" are awfully quiet
-
Simon Conway-Smith (@SConwaySmith) reportedIf @bt_uk/@WeAreOpenreach want to survive, they need their current customer service systems consigning to the scrap heap. They are simply unfit for purpose. Took OVER 1 HOUR to raise a service request online to repair a vandalized external fibre connection, it should have taken 5 minutes, then the wrong address was assigned to the case and an engineer 85 miles away called to say he'd be there in a few minutes 🥴 Give me strength!
-
Mark (@skipjackToo) reported@bt_uk is your wifi down?
-
Jon Chadwick (@JonD_Chadwick) reported@bt_uk BT email not working. Two phone calls, two completely different answers. Still not working
-
Trevor Chenery (@Krisp06) reported@countrymousie @btbusinesscare I wouldn't have thought so. You can keep your landline but you would need to move it -eventually - to a 'digital supplier' when the line service finally ends. However, I checked with Dr Google & his Elves & they made the following points which sound like very good news. "Starlink does not directly provide a traditional copper landline service, but it can fully replace one as part of the UK PSTN switch-off by supporting Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) services. You can keep your existing phone number and handset by using a VoIP adapter connected to the Starlink router, suitable for replacing old copper lines. How it Works: Starlink provides high-speed internet, allowing you to use third-party VoIP providers (e.g., Plexatalk, Premitel) to make calls via your internet connection. Requirements: You will need a VoIP Analogue Telephone Adapter (ATA) to plug your existing telephone handset into the Starlink Wi-Fi router. Suitability: VoIP over Starlink is ideal for rural areas where copper is being removed, offering sufficient speed and reliability.Alternatives: If you do not wish to use VoIP, you may look at mobile phone-based solutions, which are also often used when replacing old copper lines. As the UK moves towards a digital-only network by 2027, switching to a VoIP service via a broadband connection like Starlink is a common solution." You need to find & check it al lout with a good IT man to help you through the key steps & stages. You may also need to invest in new telephone hand sets around your house to replace your old BT ones. You won't need wires to connect them, it all works digitally through the air.

Future Tech (@neural_theory) reported@duncsand @bt_uk Being able to find a contact number for a business is more than you get from most companies. Goes to show though, very few understand or care about customer service these days
