@bt_uk hi, is there an issue accessing subscription internet channels on BT TV. I have VIP package on 2 MyView boxes, both are showing status as connected to internet, however I cannot access any subscription channels (I.e. Now TV, BT Sports) on either box. Help?

  • richardayris Richard Ayris (@richardayris) reported from Great Harwood, England

Altbough i wish @SkyFootball or @btsport also push for this but they are part of the problem for bot putting pressure on them as journalists and just push billions of pounds to the #PremierLeague pockets #premierleagueiscorrupt #epliscorrupt

  • samihowarth sami (@samihowarth) reported from Brinscall, England

@bt_uk Not very helpful as that’s for broadband and phone line. I have no signal on my mobile phone?

  • RyanMarkOConnor Ryan O'Connor (@RyanMarkOConnor) reported from Great Harwood, England

Could it possibly happen today that @bt_uk finally manage to install our broadband, we've only been in the house a month... Never used so much mobile data #waiting

  • MikeNolan Michael Nolan (@MikeNolan) reported from Burscough, England

Ordered @bt_uk broadband at the start of December with an installation date of 11 January. Not great but understandable in current circumstances. Just had text message saying new activation date is 8 March. Very poor.

  • storm_imaging Craig Cooke (@storm_imaging) reported from Adlington, England

@bt_uk hi, I’ve had an ongoing issue with a home move since last week. Apparently it’s being dealt with - this morning I’ve just received an email asking if I want the move cancelled. I don’t. I’m in the property. I’ve been messaging about this for some days now.

  • AntoniChm Antoni Chmielowski (@AntoniChm) reported from Southport, England

@bt_uk how long until the national broadband problem gets fixed? TIA

  • theboytemps Andrew (@theboytemps) reported from Turton, England

@bt_uk We did get through eventually, after well over an hour. I appreciate you are busy, but for the handler not to tell us after having waited 45 minutes to speak to him that he was transferring us to another queue & putting us on hold for another half hour was really poor service.

  • thewolstencroft Michael Wolstencroft (@thewolstencroft) reported from Southport, England

Been without broadband for a month, BT complaints team meant to ring today before 14:30 obviously no call. Currently on hold for 15 minutes. Absolute joke of a service @bt_uk

  • tonyknowles36 Tony Knowles (@tonyknowles36) reported from Blackburn, England

@jimwilkz @btsport Worst part of it is Glenn McGrath attempting to be nice and gracious when talking about England. Jeez, he was the biggest 'Pommie' basher of them all!

  • storm_imaging Craig Cooke (@storm_imaging) reported from Adlington, England

@bt_uk Well, it looks like I’m getting a new account set up. No idea why as I have correspondence to the new address about my move. As long as I don’t lose service.

  • MrsW64242123 @MrsW (@MrsW64242123) reported from Penwortham, England

@bt_uk Hi, my internet is running painfully slow - I’ve done a speed test that’s coming back at 32, but I can’t connect on my devices, also whilst watching Netflix/Prime it’s buffering. Could you arrange a booster for me so I can give that a try before finding a new provider?

  • DannyBuble Danny Bublé (@DannyBuble) reported from Wrightington, England

@bt_uk hi, once again our internet is down in WN6 and has been for more than 24 hours. Please advise and don't take 6 days like you did last time. Cheers 👍

  • AndyWhittle2 Andy W (@AndyWhittle2) reported from Aspull, England

@btsport your commentators on the Arsenal v City game today are an absolute disgrace. Never heard as much bias against City in my life and they also have **** accents so please get rid.

  • storm_imaging Craig Cooke (@storm_imaging) reported from Adlington, England

@bt_uk hi. I moved home and had my services transferred. No problem. Today I have received an email saying I will be charged for ending the contract early and received another email about returning kit?

@bt_uk a communication company that doesn’t know the meaning of the word. Disgraceful service.

BT (British Telecom) Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • EmmaSara83 Emma Burns (@EmmaSara83) reported

@bt_uk What a joke that you say you are committed to keeping the older generation connected when my 89 year old grandmother has been without a phone line for 10 days because you haven’t sorted the issue. She’s old, vulnerable and her family are unable to contact her!

  • Linzie86 lindsieanne (@Linzie86) reported

@bt_uk Worst is, where in a little village the mobile phone signal is shocking Lucky to get 1 bar so we rely on WiFi calling so this means we are cut off from everyone at Christmas as they are over 5 hours away. No neighbours it's a building site abandoned for Xmas

  • reastty Robert (@reastty) reported

@bt_uk hello, hoping you can help me. Live with parents who have bt broadband, how much would it cost to add BT sport and is it added to their bill or is there a way I can pay it?

  • TheRavenCorb Raven (@TheRavenCorb) reported

@bt_uk It says no known issues but ive already called and was told there's work being done in the area.

  • AnnEllis6 Ann (@AnnEllis6) reported

@GeorgeMonbiot @bt_uk All these companies make it impossible for customers to contact them. Disgraceful service.

  • tlaodai lockheed (@tlaodai) reported

@bt_uk Furthermore, you said BT can do nothing but refer to Openreach. What is the relations between Openreach and BT? Do BT have any governance process for Openreach contract? Is the repair process still within the designed service level agreement?

  • tlaodai lockheed (@tlaodai) reported

@bt_uk But there has been no communication explaining why this is happening, and particularly why the fix date has been pushed out 3x times? No body reached out to me to explain. And also why you can do nothing? Are there mobile device you can provide to get your customers back online?

  • tlaodai lockheed (@tlaodai) reported

@bt_uk No Broadband since Saturday the 17Dec2022. No communciation, no visibility. I have to check service status online every time myself. The fix date has been pushed out 3x times, from 20Dec to 28Dec. Still no idea whats happening. Customer service said they can do nothing?

  • MissLozTaylor Laura (@MissLozTaylor) reported

@bt_uk why on earth one day before Christmas and eve do BT put a new socket in our house and not send a hub. We are now without internet!! I can’t believe my kids presents are riding on internet and we don’t have any to use. Never again will I go with BT!!

  • crustyano Crustyano (@crustyano) reported

@Vinc3Charming @GeorgeMonbiot @bt_uk He was actually. Sent a letter to the CEO - tbh there were many factors at wrong with us getting connected but we didn’t get any semblance of the issues until he sent the letter and then WE could coordinate the different parties - Lancs county council, national rail & openreach
