K e r r i (@KerryM811) reported from Horwich, England@bt_uk Hi, my internet is running painfully slow - I’ve done a speed test that’s coming back at 32, but I can’t connect on my devices, also whilst watching Netflix/Prime it’s buffering. Could you arrange a booster for me so I can give that a try before finding a new provider?
-
Andrew (@theboytemps) reported from Turton, England@bt_uk We did get through eventually, after well over an hour. I appreciate you are busy, but for the handler not to tell us after having waited 45 minutes to speak to him that he was transferring us to another queue & putting us on hold for another half hour was really poor service.
-
Richard Ayris (@richardayris) reported from Great Harwood, EnglandAltbough i wish @SkyFootball or @btsport also push for this but they are part of the problem for bot putting pressure on them as journalists and just push billions of pounds to the #PremierLeague pockets #premierleagueiscorrupt #epliscorrupt

Ann Merrigan (@MerriganAnn) reported@bt_uk Phoned to cancel BT TVpackage, had ONE box since 2018. Guy said to send back TWO! I explained I don’t have two, he said I was complicating things and to phone when I get the pack to return them. Your website says it doesn’t need returned as had it since 2018???? Clarify??
-
Jeanette Masters (@Red_ragtop) reported@bt_uk Can you tell me how I can cancel my elderly fathers account please. He's now permanently residing in a care home and shan't be returning home.
-
Trevor Chenery (@Krisp06) reported@countrymousie @btbusinesscare I wouldn't have thought so. You can keep your landline but you would need to move it -eventually - to a 'digital supplier' when the line service finally ends. However, I checked with Dr Google & his Elves & they made the following points which sound like very good news. "Starlink does not directly provide a traditional copper landline service, but it can fully replace one as part of the UK PSTN switch-off by supporting Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) services. You can keep your existing phone number and handset by using a VoIP adapter connected to the Starlink router, suitable for replacing old copper lines. How it Works: Starlink provides high-speed internet, allowing you to use third-party VoIP providers (e.g., Plexatalk, Premitel) to make calls via your internet connection. Requirements: You will need a VoIP Analogue Telephone Adapter (ATA) to plug your existing telephone handset into the Starlink Wi-Fi router. Suitability: VoIP over Starlink is ideal for rural areas where copper is being removed, offering sufficient speed and reliability.Alternatives: If you do not wish to use VoIP, you may look at mobile phone-based solutions, which are also often used when replacing old copper lines. As the UK moves towards a digital-only network by 2027, switching to a VoIP service via a broadband connection like Starlink is a common solution." You need to find & check it al lout with a good IT man to help you through the key steps & stages. You may also need to invest in new telephone hand sets around your house to replace your old BT ones. You won't need wires to connect them, it all works digitally through the air.

Adam Darke (@adarkelimited) reported@dedmans @bt_uk Cannot be worse than BT. Impossible. Their customer service and levels of competency are off the charts appalling. No idea how they even run a business.
-
Andy Mich (@MrAndyMich) reported@bt_uk I don’t need to call any number I need BT and the people making these stupid decisions to realise they’re putting their customers at risk. The issue is you weren’t able to spot whether it was a scam number or not. So the question is why are BT as a company putting their customers through this? Please listen to what I’m saying and pass my deep concerns to the people making these stupid decisions.
-
Paul stagg (@Staggly) reported@bt_uk @NRManc they’ve messed up everyone’s account - it be worried they are taking money from old customers so check your bank - they aren’t acknowledging the issue
-
The Evolution Of Life (@TEOL85) reported@bt_uk . Do your job and fix it if it was a dodgy untested update send the routers a new one tonight 0:00-6:00 to sort out the issue or if it's your exchanges end fix it there or if you can fix it remotely just do it but fix it what if our phone lines go out on an important phone call
-
Owen (@OwenJBlanche) reported@bt_uk what are you guys doing to the internet in yelland so slow and constantly not getting up to the speeds we pay for
-
Simon Conway-Smith (@SConwaySmith) reportedIf @bt_uk/@WeAreOpenreach want to survive, they need their current customer service systems consigning to the scrap heap. They are simply unfit for purpose. Took OVER 1 HOUR to raise a service request online to repair a vandalized external fibre connection, it should have taken 5 minutes, then the wrong address was assigned to the case and an engineer 85 miles away called to say he'd be there in a few minutes 🥴 Give me strength!
-
The Evolution Of Life (@TEOL85) reported@bt_uk all especially as it's been working on a constant properly for the first 3 months after January installation it is your end especially if far away countries are getting the same issue of backup feeds cutting in instead of the show to come out then it randomly comes out of nowhere
