James bartlett (@Darkestfrost) reported from Haverhill, England@bt_uk Also. If my contract renewed 2019. That is this year. Not 2014 like first stated. Really seems that bt cant get there numbers correct. As you can see I've been a loyal customer for many many years. Seems like honouring sales pitches doesnt come easy for you guys. Lol
-
Enge Gray (@Enge21) reported from Great Dunmow, England@londonirish ********? My @btsport box ******* died this afternoon so didn’t see it.
-
Chloe Hipwood (@clowee) reported from Haverhill, EnglandFancy doing anything about shockingly slow broadband speeds in some rural Tier 4 areas? Video chat for elderly residents in these areas during Christmas should be a given not a luck. @bt_uk @virginmedia @SkyUK . #loneliness #tier4 #christmascancelled
-
James bartlett (@Darkestfrost) reported from Haverhill, England@bt_uk No full drops but speed was pitiful last night. So much so that my entertainment was stuttering and buffering. So either your test equipment is faulty or lying to you. If I hadnt had a problem I wouldn't be having this conversation!!
-
Stuart Valentine Dodgson (@DodgsonStuart) reported from Stansted Mountfitchet, England@bt_uk Thank you. Problem solved. That was good customer service.
-
sue (@sooze74) reported from Bishop's Stortford, England@bt_uk why do you insist on making it impossible to cancel your services!! I need to cancel BT sport but can’t get through to anyone to do this and will not be happy if I get charged another month 😡
-
Paul (@paulhayward200) reported from Haverhill, England@bt_uk What a bunch of crooks BT are. Sneaking in a above inflation increase . Luckily I do not use BT but My mother does. I will make sure that she leaves as soon as her contract is up. BT= POOR SERVICE, POOR VALUE.
-
James bartlett (@Darkestfrost) reported from Haverhill, England@bt_uk Ethernet. It's happened on multiple occasions. Look. As long as I can use without buffering and quality drops to streaming etc I'm a very content customer. When buffering happens in 2019 there is something amiss. 5mb is crazy slow for "super fast fiber" ;)
-
James bartlett (@Darkestfrost) reported from Haverhill, England@bt_uk Only issue is that the new xbox console streaming requires a minimum of 4.8mbs upload speed. I cannot use the service with the speed a currently have. Is very annoying. My internet is going to start hindering my tech going forward.
-
Rob (@Whiskybob77) reported from Standon, England@btsport thanks for being free for 3 months on EE and then being absolutely impossible to log into. Stuck in an endless circle of password resets and passwords not recognised. Dont get this crap with Sky.

-
Chris McGregor (@CmucG) reported@bt_uk is this one of your numbers 01438382072. Since deciding to cancel my services with you today this number has called me 5 times. It is harassment. You had your chance to keep me when I called to say I had a better offer elsewhere. Your offer was rubbish and refused.
-
ralphaverbuch (@ralphaverbuch) reported@bt_uk login to account but can't see any details on anything anymore? Something is broken. Who do we talk to to sort this?
-
George Somerville (@geosomerville) reportedWiFi over the last couple of months has been shocking. @bt_uk installed new socket, router etc still bad. Decided to change suppliers but according to BT I don’t have a landline or broadband package with them! This would be fine if I wasn’t paying them £70 a month! Can I find someone to help at BT? No I can’t……
-
Mark Dunlop (@JMarkDunlop) reported@Benleo @BTBusiness @bt_uk are very similarly disrespectful. Raised a formal complaint and they fumbled like inept foreigners who did not intend to care, and then suddenly dropped off a call but never picked my case back up. And that was 17 days ago ...!
-
Faye Carter (@FayeLcarter) reported@bt_uk I have been passed around for 2 hours between different teams to get a new hub. I get a different answer every time. I have a message from the first one saying a new hub will be sent he just needs to put me through to the tech team. Please can someone HELP
-
Darren Lewis (@Darren_Lewis1) reported@bt_uk typical BT broadband neglecting loyal customers - renewal prices for a customer of 6 years - charging WAY MORE than the market rate and WAY MORE than if I was a new BT customer. Shame on you, I thought those days of not caring about your long standing customers was over.
-
Jessica (@Jessica67669786) reported@ArmchairAdml @bt_uk this elderly gentleman has been a loyal customer for many years. He is now out of contract paying an extortionate price. Surely you can assist him in obtaining a reasonable priced package for his needs, and perhaps issue a refund for out of contract price hike?
-
Trevor Chenery (@Krisp06) reported@countrymousie @btbusinesscare I wouldn't have thought so. You can keep your landline but you would need to move it -eventually - to a 'digital supplier' when the line service finally ends. However, I checked with Dr Google & his Elves & they made the following points which sound like very good news. "Starlink does not directly provide a traditional copper landline service, but it can fully replace one as part of the UK PSTN switch-off by supporting Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) services. You can keep your existing phone number and handset by using a VoIP adapter connected to the Starlink router, suitable for replacing old copper lines. How it Works: Starlink provides high-speed internet, allowing you to use third-party VoIP providers (e.g., Plexatalk, Premitel) to make calls via your internet connection. Requirements: You will need a VoIP Analogue Telephone Adapter (ATA) to plug your existing telephone handset into the Starlink Wi-Fi router. Suitability: VoIP over Starlink is ideal for rural areas where copper is being removed, offering sufficient speed and reliability.Alternatives: If you do not wish to use VoIP, you may look at mobile phone-based solutions, which are also often used when replacing old copper lines. As the UK moves towards a digital-only network by 2027, switching to a VoIP service via a broadband connection like Starlink is a common solution." You need to find & check it al lout with a good IT man to help you through the key steps & stages. You may also need to invest in new telephone hand sets around your house to replace your old BT ones. You won't need wires to connect them, it all works digitally through the air.
