  • beaver_ronnie
Ronnie Beaver (@beaver_ronnie) reported from Cheadle Hulme, England

@btsport do you actually pay Peter Walton or does he do it just for the laughs poor as a ref and a joke as an analyst no wonder so many fans are muting your channel and using alternatives

  • DinglerGmail
DazPenny (@DinglerGmail) reported from Bramhall, England

@bt_uk your customer service is about the worst I have ever experienced. Been without broadband since Wednesday. Mis-diagnosed the issue and now its Wednesday before you can send an engineer. Shocking.

  • LeedsViking
Steve Mc (@LeedsViking) reported from Warrington, England

Hey @bt_uk ... if I use the app to try any work through a sound issue in my TV service, it hangs midway through a diagnostic check... if I try and use the ‘chat to us’ facility there’s no one available. Anyone would think you didn’t want to know, or help, with a customer issue?

  • JamieJew590
Jamie Grace (@JamieJew590) reported from Lymm, England

  • gaz_lister

  • tasted_flight
James Goggin (@tasted_flight) reported from Northwich, England

@bt_uk looks like you’re forcing this customer to cancel & go elsewhere. Can’t order new fibre/phone package as option wanted is apparently only available to “new” customers. At least we know your views on existing customers

@i_jayas @bt_uk Most smart stuff needs 2.4 GHz, at least in my house... Though I did have a BT router once (Smart Hub(?)) with known issues for some smart devices. I thought they'd phased that out but maybe not. A fix simply did not exist.

  • jl_massey
Johnathan Massey (@jl_massey) reported from Wilmslow, England

@bt_uk Got to be honest, that isn’t a great deal of comfort. Being without service for a week is massively inconvenient. I’m an existing customer moving to a property with an existing line. It is ridiculous it takes that long.

  • Catheri93331915
Catherine Johnson (@Catheri93331915) reported from Macclesfield, England

@countrymousie @btbusinesscare I wouldn't have thought so. You can keep your landline but you would need to move it -eventually - to a 'digital supplier' when the line service finally ends. However, I checked with Dr Google & his Elves & they made the following points which sound like very good news. "Starlink does not directly provide a traditional copper landline service, but it can fully replace one as part of the UK PSTN switch-off by supporting Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) services. You can keep your existing phone number and handset by using a VoIP adapter connected to the Starlink router, suitable for replacing old copper lines. How it Works: Starlink provides high-speed internet, allowing you to use third-party VoIP providers (e.g., Plexatalk, Premitel) to make calls via your internet connection. Requirements: You will need a VoIP Analogue Telephone Adapter (ATA) to plug your existing telephone handset into the Starlink Wi-Fi router. Suitability: VoIP over Starlink is ideal for rural areas where copper is being removed, offering sufficient speed and reliability.Alternatives: If you do not wish to use VoIP, you may look at mobile phone-based solutions, which are also often used when replacing old copper lines. As the UK moves towards a digital-only network by 2027, switching to a VoIP service via a broadband connection like Starlink is a common solution." You need to find & check it al lout with a good IT man to help you through the key steps & stages. You may also need to invest in new telephone hand sets around your house to replace your old BT ones. You won't need wires to connect them, it all works digitally through the air.

@brian_mcbride1 @bt_uk That's similar experience to my 90 year old mother's complaint about digital switchover and contract renewal. Sent a complaint letter to BT plc, PO Box 334, Sheffield, S98 1BT and received a text a couple of weeks later saying the complaint had been closed but with no resolution.

    WTF...😂 (@Aliens2back000) reported

@bt_uk I've been a long-time BT TV customer, but with only the BBC left for news (versus Sky's 10+ channels), I need better choices. Enough is enough! Please expand your news lineup or risk losing subscribers. Waiting..

  • mrkdnnx
    markdann. (@mrkdnnx) reported

@bt_uk are an absolute joke. No internet and we get told “we have done everything we can, just keep restarting your router.” How about you actually attend to look at the issue because ever since you moved the router it’s awful!

  • Caldale58
    CM (@Caldale58) reported

@bt_uk is there ever a day when your products actually work for a whole day. If it's not the unstable app continually throwing you out, it's accessing MyBT. Why does anyone stay with you. Totally exasperated again.

  • AliIndge
    Alison indge (@AliIndge) reported

Give @bt_uk a slow hand clap for messing up my email password - I made a BT ID which then said incorrect pw on my BT email account so I changed it - then tried to log in to the new BT ID account and it’s saying wrong pw too - give me strength 🤬

  • adarkelimited

Another 3 hours on phone to @bt_uk today. Still unresolved, still no call back from manager, still no email as promised from bosses. Comfortably the worst customer service in the UK.

@bt_uk Phoned to cancel BT TVpackage, had ONE box since 2018. Guy said to send back TWO! I explained I don’t have two, he said I was complicating things and to phone when I get the pack to return them. Your website says it doesn’t need returned as had it since 2018???? Clarify??
