BT (British Telecom) Issues Reports
Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:
-
Richard Lecky-Thompson (@LeckyRichard) reported@paullewismoney @bt_uk BT are planning to beach the OFCOM guidelines that they signed up to by not providing adequate backup in case of power cuts. 1 hour backup is not enough of you don't have mobile signal in your house. It is unclear if elderly alarm systems will work.
-
Shinka (@Haushinkadaz) reported@btbusinesscare absolute shambles I’m experiencing at the moment. Second complaint in with you since the start of the year and absolutely no progress in reinstating my line after an OpenReach mistake. Already fed back to Ofcom via a feedback form, an absolute joke so far.
-
Harvey (@harveyball01) reported@IV_Haines @bt_uk beyond horrid
-
Anne Wareham (@AnneWareham) reported@mm0jxi @paullewismoney @bt_uk And no emergency calls for those of us with no mobile signal.
-
Jimmy B (@jimb_england) reported@bt_uk our FTTP went down today, been told there is an issue and an engineer will be out Monday. What am I meant to do in the meantime? I work from home and can't do this without Internet access.
-
Callum McIntyre (@callum_mcintyre) reportedThe main issue - this is certainly not stream-able. Really not sure what to do now, as 4G also isn't up to it! Really wish @bt_uk didn't suck so bad
-
taperoo2k (@taperoo2k) reported@paullewismoney @bt_uk Given the copper network will be switched off at some point this decade, you'll either have to switch to digital voice or have no landline telephone.
-
Sue Taylor FRSA (@Essexisgreat) reported@paullewismoney @bt_uk I received a letter with the date of the switch over. It happened with no issues, the sound is clearer, but in a power cut I would have no phone. They ask you to let them know if you do not have a mobile as backup.
-
Ian Rohde-Bell (@ianrohdebell) reported@bt_uk They are now left with a phone service that only works when the power is on, which is not acceptable, and is not a like for like replacement
-
Andy (@randrewbuchan) reported@paullewismoney @bt_uk You have no choice, they’ve done it to me. The broadband phone line is very poor quality and I wish I could have prevented them from doing this.
