So after 2.5hrs of trying to source the issue and finally getting confirmation that our internet fault is outside of the house and down to @bt_uk have now been advised it’ll be fixed my 9th April - looks like we won’t be working from home this week then !😡 #time to change

To let people know, @bt_uk have emailed me (and many others?) saying that soon phone will move to 'digital voice' i.e. internet based phone system. The crucial issue is that they admit calls including to 999 will not work if there is a power cut. This is surely really unsafe.

Nice to know that @bt_uk cannot offer any technical support whatsoever for hotspot users who are not also BT customers. Avoid the service if you need to access the internet without continuous faults and no recourse for customer support or even complaints
