With @EE I got 4G suitable for video calls and uninterrupted Teams meetings from home to work. Now I can't even get 2G. When will you upgrade?

She’s 76 so doesn’t quite understand the technicalities of signals, transmitters etc so I said I’d contact you.

I've enabled WiFi calling however I'm still concerned. I'm classed as vulnerable and my landline also isn't working. If your network fully goes down I can't contact emergency services.

Was even told I was not in a contract so I could get another provider, found that comment so wrong

First contract phone and he was very reassuring. Even gave me his work email in case I have any issues. Glad I swapped to EE now!

Call support and after being on the phone for one hour (to a quite polite guy) can’t get through to remote services. EE MAN! I want my Xmas movies

Put my sim in phone, went to EE/join online, followed steps and now greeted with “were unable to retrieve your account details right now”. Should I just give up before I’ve ever started? Whilst I’m closer to pensionable age than 21 I should be pleased BT will pay dividends on obscene profits and help my pension but that’s 14.4% less money I’ll spend in the economy, it all feels a bit flawed and inequitable

What’s worse - is your phone people were utterly unrepentant there was an error from EE’s side. I now need to teach a 90 year old to use a mobile for the first time!!

Chris Rosser (@chris_rosser) reported@LeilaniDowding @EE All Internet in UK is moving away from copper to the premises - and all the replacements require power to function - if you get a UPS you can plug your router and other devices (such as a phone interface) into it to keep them running during a power outage.
