Agreed a new contract with #ee they’ve overcharged me extra £11 per month and charged £50 for the handset which should have been free. Still waiting for a call back from 22/7 was told it would be within 72 hours. I have the chat transcript

-
Nick68 (@nickholding01) reported from Leeds, England@EE There is always room for a discount. Never not had one before. It's who you speak to and if they are willing to make it happen. On this occasion I'm not thought worthy of it
-
Roberto. (@Rdickinson1987) reported from Leeds, England@EE Love paying £40 a Month for a phone contract when a simple sim swap still doesn't work. Now no service completely. Direct debit getting cancelled I'll go back on @O2 waste of time
-
Adam Whiteley (@arw84) reported from Wakefield, England@EE @MBowater So everyone should expect 14% extra speed and data then if you are investing to increase from your current customer base. More like top bosses in for a bumper bonus.
-
Peter Bennett (@botrash) reported from Leeds, England@tonywaters @EE Exactly. I'd happily pay the extra £2 a month if that was the going rate, but I'm not being ripped off to fund cheap deals for people who bounce network every year. I've shown I stick with companies that treat me right, so if they lose me they'll never get me back!
-
Sarah (@JoviGirl_1980) reported from Greetland, England@EE hi, I've transferred my number onto a different network as from today. Do I need to do anything to cancel with you??
-
Dave Poskitt (@DavePoskitt) reported from Wakefield, EnglandWell @EE have surpassed themselves again... Not been helpful at all and when you feel like your finally getting somewhere they let you down again. Well and truly fed up and pissed off

Sarah Giangregorio (@SGiangregorio) reported from Bradford, England@mrsimonwaldron @padoir @EE Didn’t get any further but will try an online complaint. I have all mine up until October. It’s the ones after that I need!
-
ARob (@ade_robertson) reported from Bingley, England@swtweetin @MartinSLewis That is a waste of money... What's your mobile signal like? as you would probably get better performance on 4G supplying the house. I had Sky BB (6mb down 1mb up) switched to 4G on @EE and now get 40mb down 10up for cheaper pm in rural Scotland
-
Peter Bennett (@botrash) reported from Leeds, England@EE Seems a bit pointless allowing your staff to offer F&F discount at all if its incompatible with completely standard deals, so I'm pretty sure this wouldn't be true! I take it then from this that nobody there is interested in retaining me as a customer?
-
Jack Antony Smith (@JackAntonySmith) reported from Menston, England@EE gone from no signal in my flat to no signal on street having to stand at the top of street on the main road for 30 minutes while on hold to my bank
-
SwissArmyBeard 💙 (@MezOfSteel) reported from Sowerby Bridge, England@EE is the app broken!? I need to urgently move some data to the wife's phone but can't get through or open the app!!
EE Issues Reports
Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:
-
Michael Knight (@michaelmknight) reported@EE You keep sending me these letters. I informed you that my Mum, Who's bill this is, passed away in December of 2025. I sent you a letter and an original death certificate, which seems to have gone missing or you never returned it to me. As this is my Mum's account, I am not responsible for her debts, even in death. Dealing with a bereavement is hard enough, without receiving letters like this, especially when you were informed last year. Nether of us are/were ever late paying our bills, but things like this make me not want to continue being a customer of EE.
-
Jason tulip (@Jasont72) reported@EE Don’t need to check online I used my phone to check, online it says I can get 5g, but it only ever shows 4g with poor speeds, is this enough reason to leave my contract ?
-
Ian Wardell (@ian_wardell) reported@EE @EE This is stupid. Why the hell are you sending it to me at the *new* address?? I won't be bloody there for crying out loud! Does EE's stupidity admit of any limits??

Jake Murphy (@jake_murphy95) reported.@skytv £106 a month my bill has gone up to for sky stream , ridiculously stupid amount. Despite saying I was leaving you advisor said couldn’t do anything to assist as I was on a good deal You have 48 hours to reduce my bill or I’m heading to @EE tv
-
AFCdonnilad (@afcdonnilad) reportedFormal complaint incoming. @bt_uk @EE @OpenreachHelp for nearly a MONTH. Told it’s “escalated” but no progress, no accountability, no communication. Completely unacceptable. Next step: formal complaint, compensation claim & escalation to Ofcom if not resolved immediately Pt2
-
Jon Pitts (@briavelsjon) reported@CathyJoslin @EE Are you receiving automated texts from other senders? That's the best test of whether this is a sender-specific issue, or an end-user-specific one. That then dictates the course of action to rectify.
-
Maria Zelenova (@maria__zelenova) reported@EE Ok, I’ll call (yet again). I will also be filing a consumer protection complaint because you guys have no business calling yourselves “UK’s best network” and my partner and I deserve some real accountability for the stress you’ve caused us.
-
b (@_b__77) reported@EE What is going on with our network, the signal has just gone down then up then down to where no pages are loading, getting 4G and 2meg???????
