@sihoughton @EE It’s got everything to do with it. They are doing it because they no longer have concessions in the EU. Like there’s no EU Medical insurance so if some idiot breaks their leg in Benidorm there’s no insurance and it will cost a fortune.

You know what’s insane? The fact that my Pixel 5, that has been on contract for a year and a half with @EE, would still cost me over £500 to cancel early - I’ve got 7 months left. Pixel 5 cost £500 brand new even back then! That’s like a £2k contract for a £500 phone!!

@EE sent a text to say the outage in Chorley had been fixed, so far today I’ve had to reboot the WiFi network 6 times! Off the back of a long phone call to find a resolution on Friday! Paying £40 for at best intermittent service! Not acceptable

@sihoughton @EE So it’s got nothing to do with EU phone companies now charging the likes of EE to use their services when before it was part of the service provided? It’s like when you leave a club and still want to go back, you now have to pay for everything you got as part of the membership.

@EE Internet in Edinburgh Old Town EH1 via 4G and 5G is down to 1/10th of usual capacity, i.e. at ADSL speeds. I called EE and they said this was a known issue, yet on the official page, it is saying there are no outages.

@EE Have you turned 4g off now? I couldn't watch the semi final on my tablet the other night because your service is rubbish. My missus got mugged off with an EE contract but as soon as it is finished it is gone.

@EE To be fair EE’s really good and very reasonably priced! I only pay £85 a month for 1gb data on an IPhone 5, just do a quick comparison on three… so that would cost… 😟… this is a bad day for me.

.@EE just been hung up upon by Dean! How professional is that? Anyone wanting to deal with EE should beware! Customer care is non existent and compensation after 4 months of not having full broadband is insulting as I’ve spent more @VodafoneUK going over my data allowance! AVOID!
