@HSBC_UK is there an HSBC app problem at the moment I have been trying for over a week to use this app and it just closes down when I press the app icon - I have reinstalled and deleted a lot of times but the app only brings up the logo ? I updated to iOS 15.2 recently ? Pls help

@scottgardner76 @HSBC_UK If the bank does not release a statement soon I’ll have to change my payroll to another bank. I can’t touch my money because to log in on the computer you need a code from the app. I can only use debit card.

@HSBC_UK Hi Abi. Will call tomorrow then but asking customers to roll back is not acceptable. The issue here is the bank, not the apple software. All other banks (Barclays, Bank of America, Revolut and Wise in my case) work perfectly fine.

Annoyed by the fact that every time a bank transfer contains the word #crypto @HSBC_UK marks it as “fraudulent” and block it. #Banks are the real fraud #Crypto is the future

@bat1150gs @HSBC_UK It’s awful. My salary gets paid on that account and I’ve been locked out for weeks now. Their response is to install on another device. Not even the web option works as you need a security code in the app.

@dgwbirch @Barclays Looks familiar. @HSBC_UK does the same thing. Go over your daily payment limit and, rather than say that, you get a indecipherable error message leaving you to imagine it’s an IT issue or worse. Why are established banks so bad at this stuff!?

@drivingmemadi I had my bank (yes @HSBC_UK - you) block my card because of a transaction with a "suspicious retailer". That retailer? Tesco. That little known supermarket chain Tesco. The one I went to every week at the time. The algorithm on these things is terrible.

@HSBC_UK You might want to check your website. It lists a phone number to make an appointment in a branch. When I called it it asks for account details which I don’t have as I don’t have an account with you. When I finally talked to a person they said that you don’t make appointments

@HSBC_UK still on hold after 1 hour & 53 minutes to report a lost/stolen commercial card. 7 people in your call centre have not been able to help & keep passing my call on. Let’s hope someone is not out on a spending spree with my card.
