@firstdirect This has been going on for months. It’s not a new issue. When FD was moved back under the @HSBC_UK umbrella over a year ago, the service started to go downhill. It’s been 30 minutes now and I’m still on hold.

@HSBC_UK @KateHol58200832 Depends on the type of branch, a cash or digital branch would give you a paper application and ask for ID and proof of address for you both if you dont bank with HSBC,a full service branch could do the application depending on Covid rules
