Sky Issues Reports Near Dunstable, England

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in Dunstable and nearby locations:

  • sjdhatters Simon Dennis (@sjdhatters) reported from Stoke Mandeville, England

@SkyUK @SkyHelpTeam absolutely *************** this Xmas. All over Sky Cinema advertising movies in HDR via Sky Q. Except early adopters of Sky Q own boxes that are not HDR compatible. Once again penalised for being a loyal customer

  • sjdhatters Simon Dennis (@sjdhatters) reported from Stoke Mandeville, England

@SkyHelpTeam Told to call technical dept once I got through. I told them I didn't need technical help but they said this was number I needed.

  • sjdhatters Simon Dennis (@sjdhatters) reported from Stoke Mandeville, England

@SkyUK HDR is a game changer but what a ball ache to get service 1. Early adopter box not compatible 2. Fight with Sky to get box swapped 3. Plug and Play? Nope 4. Change TV setting 5. Changed Sky Q setting 6. Change Amp setting 7. Change Sky Sound setting for Atmos 8. Finally!

  • pauldgnewton Paul Newton (@pauldgnewton) reported from Harpenden, England

@SkySports Absolutely rubbish decision. How do we improve the poor standard of refereeing in PL?

  • Taylor_Cobra Taylor Clayton (@Taylor_Cobra) reported from Leighton Buzzard, England

@Carra23 is a biased **** clear Fulham penalty in the first half !! Waste of time @SkySports

  • sjdhatters Simon Dennis (@sjdhatters) reported from Stoke Mandeville, England

@SkyUK could really take a leaf out of @amazon from Customer Service perspective. Just been told I can leave Sky for 12 months then sign up again to upgrade rather than help a customer of 20 years. It's incredible. Even offered me a free mobile and SIM! I don't want a free phone!

  • KimLeanneSamsa Kimbo (@KimLeanneSamsa) reported from Shefford, England

@SkyUK seem to have no internet connection. MK45 4HZ are you aware any problems?

  • sjdhatters Simon Dennis (@sjdhatters) reported from Stoke Mandeville, England

@SkyHelpTeam I defy anyone to find anything about HDR on that link. Signed in but can't find any information. And to push point of my tweet how is it right that you provide one type of box to one customer who pays the same as another with a different box but can't get same service. It's wrong

  • sjdhatters Simon Dennis (@sjdhatters) reported from Stoke Mandeville, England

@SkyHelpTeam I appreciate replies Can I exchange box for HDR compatible box? Yes £100? Really? Yes but I can reduce bill by £30, offer free mobile, free SIM card, new TV channels and new 18 mth contract! I only want to upgrade my box? Sorry can't help! Do you see how ridiculous that is?

  • sjdhatters Simon Dennis (@sjdhatters) reported from Stoke Mandeville, England

@SkyHelpTeam It gets better. Offered to sign me up to new 18mth contract. Reduce bill £25 a month. Free Nokia mobile and SIM. Cheap Sky Broadband. New TV channels. The works. Why did I phone? To upgrade my box. You have done everything except help with my query. It's staggering

  • IanBottomer Lordmvarder (@IanBottomer) reported from Aston Clinton, England

Two shockers by the ref and pundits in the #LeedsUnited #BurnleyFC match. Never a penalty and comparing it to the Pickford challenge is mental and as for the foul on goalkeeper the ref must have carteras. @SkySports @SkySportsPL @premierleague

  • MissDipika89 Dipika Gokani (@MissDipika89) reported from Luton, England

@SkyHelpTeam @SkyUK I have been waiting for a Sky engineer from 8am to 5pm, and nobody has shown up. Spoken to customer services and they have said won’t be able to install until the new year. I’m a new sky customer, what an appalling service. How will this be sorted?

  • StephenOSulliv4 Stephen O'Sullivan (@StephenOSulliv4) reported from Hemel Hempstead, England

@SkyUK @SkyHelpTeam my internet has been down all day. Any idea when it will be up and running again? Any compo for the inconvenience? #skybroadband

  • XandF Alex Fortune 🇬🇧🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🇪🇺 (@XandF) reported from Hitchin, England

Is all ok? @SkyHelpTeam my box shut down about 9ish and no signs of life despite twice turning off at wall?

  • KrisWhoTweets Ja Ja Ding Dong Merrily On High (@KrisWhoTweets) reported from Dunstable, England

@SkyHelpTeam My internet is playing up. LU6 postcode area. Add it to your list and stop lying to people saying there are no known issues.

  • teamleader83 Gareth Sutton (@teamleader83) reported from Hertfordshire, England

@SkyHelpTeam are there any issues with broadband in Hertford area? Dodgy connection for last couple of hours, but no issue with router etc.

  • LFarrel Lara Farrel (@LFarrel) reported from St Albans, England

@SkyHelpTeam @ItsTwiitch Our broadband just went down at 9:30pm in St Albans. FYI

  • sjdhatters Simon Dennis (@sjdhatters) reported from Stoke Mandeville, England

@SkyHelpTeam Ok I got through. £100 upgrade! Unbelievable. Been with Sky 20 years! That's outrageous. If I cancelled my contract and my wife opened a new account on same package you automatically get the HDR box. That's an awful way to treat loyal customers. Truly awful!

  • StephenOSulliv4 Stephen O'Sullivan (@StephenOSulliv4) reported from Hemel Hempstead, England

@SkyHelpTeam my Internet is not working. Is there an issue at your end ?

  • MarkGra11601194 Mark Graham (@MarkGra11601194) reported from Hertfordshire, England

@SkyHelpTeam #skybroadband is there an issue as cannot get on the net in Hertfordshire #skybroadbanddown

Sky Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • Coops_Colin Colin Cooper (@Coops_Colin) reported

@SkySports Every football match for a year and nothing has changed, if anything it’s made it worse. Play football and support the Kick it Out campaign. Taking the knee at every single game is achieving nothing.

  • MattyBrault Matthew Brault (@MattyBrault) reported

@TheNorfolkone @AtomicCule @SkySports Kneeling at games has nothing to do with George Floyd either. Next you'll be spinning the line of Marxism. When players are specifically telling you that this has nothing to do with the organisation & they do not support that organisation, why are you saying it is? Also, educate

  • cherrymount1 cherrymount (@cherrymount1) reported

@UswitchUK @MailOnline @SkyUK Made me wait 6 weeks to get connected. Blamed #btopenreach Even the BT engineer asked “why have you been waiting so long?” And shook his head. It was a horrible experience to say the least

  • tonyhold1 Tony Hold (@tonyhold1) reported

@SkySports I think the sport needs a re think. Taking the knee as a ‘symbol’ has obviously lost its impact, become irrelevant almost. Black players are still getting horrific abuse on SM so something has to change. I myself now see it as pointless yet absolutely support the black players.

  • pennyross66 penny ross 💙 (@pennyross66) reported from Coleraine, Northern Ireland

@SkyHelpTeam my internet is down at BT51 can you check if there’s likely to be a long term problem? End of the academic year is difficult enough, I have live spreadsheets to fill and a deadline to adhere to

  • runsmithyrun Smithylive (@runsmithyrun) reported

@SkySports I think they fully understand the message behind it, the fact that more time is spent now discussing the act of taking the knee rather than talking about the real issue - the discrimination all over football shows it now has to evolve and engage people in new ways

  • robhunterhkr Rob Hunter (@robhunterhkr) reported

@SkySports I think these patronising comments are part of the reason people are booing. Sick of been told what to do, what to like and if you don’t agree you need ‘educating’ Funny how nobody had any issue with the kick it out campaign. Maybe it’s Gareth who doesn’t understand

  • Garrymi Garry (@Garrymi) reported

    @SkySports That’s cos he’s a ******* idiot !

  • Gill_W_ Gill💙💛 (@Gill_W_) reported

@mightywhite83 @SkySports Yes if fans hear it in the grounds they need to tell stewards who should then eject them immediately with a permanent ban. This is a far better and quicker solution to players walking off the pitch.

  • bethcolecreativ Beth Cole Creative | Abstract Artist (@bethcolecreativ) reported

@SkyHelpTeam Suspected fault between the local exchange and my home, it says an Engineer will be out to fix but in 2-5 days. With most people working from home at the moment 2-5 days is too long.
