In the past we’d accepted oh so slow internet, but now we’re relying on connectivity to be able to work, I’m guessing an alternative is on the cards

That’s an instant “no” from me. Also no satellite socket (to use Freesat when I leave Sky or when the internet goes down). @SkyUK

Ive now decided to cancel the upgrade because my landlord is refusing to let any works happen without these permits.

You try to call to see why your broadband isn’t working still after 6 DAYS and they’re screening the number to deliberately not put you through. You don’t close at 8pm. They left an elderly customer distressed and upset. Charging for a service you don’t provide is unacceptable.
