Remote support for a friend’s computer that was having strange issues. Teamviewer failed to connect so I figured this was related. An hour’s debugging later and it turns out the ISP (TalkTalk) is blocking Teamviewer as it’s used by scammers.

@CateSevilla @virginmedia They then tried to fine me for not sending their 'hub' back and refused to refund the house move cost I'd paid a few months earlier. So so incompetent! SO stressful when all of us work from home too. I moved to TalkTalk & is cheaper and no problems so far, at least :)

@elacha123 @DPJHodges Look at the #didoharding #talktalk scandal .... The official call centre was handing customer details to the scammers next door! I'm wondering when the #NHS typing will be taken back in house? Normally takes some severe malpractice payout to force them to do an about-face

@TalkTalk There is no service that can offer 100% availability, what is frustrating is that your service status took 1h to acknowledge the issue, so I needed to spend time and resources in trying to understand if the issue was my cat eating the router cables or your network....
