@virginmedia would you text to tell a customer there are payment issues?
-
Jamesrodgers (@Jamesro17879287) reported from Castleford, England
@virginmedia , is it common to not provide customers with the service they have paid for so early into the 18 month contract? Currently on the “Superfast” 200MB plan and receiving 30MB. Rang your call centre and gave up after an hour on hold.

@virginmedia are in my top 5 list for worst companies in Britain. Poor quality, socially and culturally reprehensible. I will give them one positive, social media peeps are nice, ineffectual but nice
-
Susanna (@SusannaMFL) reported from Leeds, England
@virginmedia I had an account which I closed a few months ago, I then opened a new account at a different address a few months later. When I try to login however my new account isn’t showing as it says that “I’m not with virgin media anymore”. Can’t follow up billing etc

Rev dave walker (@Reverand_dave) reported from Horbury, England
@virginmedia Its off more times than its on of late. I'm still getting an intermittent line issue on my bb which ive had pretty much from day one and the whole service goes off in wakefield/ dewsbury area at least once a week. Its off now.
-
Jonathan Lawrence (@jl_legend) reported from Leeds, England
If you don't mind poor quality, low uptime, unhelpful service, zero compassion, clueless technical support, broken promises and sky high prices then @virginmedia is the broadband company for you. For everyone else, go with any other company.

Nigel Cawthray (@ncawthray) reported from Leeds, England

Susan Turner (@GazaniaGal) reported from Wetherby, England
@virginmedia Only just seen your reply. Intermittent Friday morning but never as good as it should be!
-
Susan Turner (@GazaniaGal) reported from Wetherby, England
@virginmedia This is a small house, I have not had this problem in the 5 years we’ve had Virgin and, unfortunately, I cannot afford an extra £3 per month to see whether a booster is a solution.
-
Rev dave walker (@Reverand_dave) reported from Horbury, England
@Ofcom why are you still allowing virgin media to provide intermittent tv, broadband and phone packages without punishment. In our area over the last two year they have provided an awful service. Constantly going down or intermittent. Horrible customer service.
-
Jonathan Lawrence (@jl_legend) reported from Leeds, England
Nor do @virginmedia give a toss about their customers, so care and compassion also not their thing. Struggling during Covid? @virginmedia will happily do nothing to help you out, it might affect profits if they did anything even remotely kind.
-
Jonathan Lawrence (@jl_legend) reported from Leeds, England
@virginmedia truly are the shittest most unreliable broadband service, I swear. Oh and great, they're expecting their shitty service to be particularly shitty until 2pm tomorrow. It's not like people need to work from home or anything.
-
Jamesrodgers (@Jamesro17879287) reported from Castleford, England
@virginmedia any danger of you providing decent speeds or anybody answering your at your customer service centres? Only been with you 2 weeks and already wanting to leave.
-
Jamesrodgers (@Jamesro17879287) reported from Castleford, England
@virginmedia Already ran the test on the app, get a nice bright yellow Exclamation mark, telling me what I already know, the WiFi is ****....
-
Kevin Johns (@Ray_Stubbs) reported from Woodlesford, England
@virginmedia been on hold for 2hrs you finally answered and then cut me off. Brilliant customer services!!
-
Chris Broadbent (@Fernoxchris1) reported from Leeds, England
@GarethAllen3 @virginmedia Awful company to deal with. Customer care practically zero. I’m still waiting for a call from 3 weeks ago. How can a comms company have no facility to email them or live chat? Just about to change my services and save some of the £120 a month these jokers charge
-
Michelle Hardman B.a.(Hons)🌈 (@MichelleTownhil) reported from Leeds, England

@DementiaUK hi, I'm hoping you can help. I am having problems with @virginmedia. My dad has vascular dementia and has been ripped off tremendously by them. They also won't help him sort his account as he's forgotten his password. They have reduced him into a complete wreck...
-
Susan Turner (@GazaniaGal) reported from Wetherby, England
@virginmedia Internet in LS22 been on and off all day. Has been down totally since 7.00 pm. Poor service for several weeks. What is going on with Virgin’s 200 mbps fibre broadband?
-
Susan Turner (@GazaniaGal) reported from Wetherby, England
@virginmedia Checked all rooms - this is a small detached house - every room says cannot receive a signal except the living room. A conservatory is in direct sight of the Hub and maybe only 10 meters away; Kitchen Same distance with just one wall. In every room, it recommended a booster .

@virginmedia Its day 14. No Internet in my house. Virgin are not doing anything to resolve it. This is appaling service. Each Customer service agent promises to resolve the case then call you back. They disappear into thing air! Shocking

AdamE (@AdamElphick) reported
@virginmedia Sorry I meant better 'deal' bad typing. So basically I've been with Virgin 23 years they tell me. Every year it goes up and up. It's literally send it all back but mum is 85 and no way she'd cope with a new system. Broadband is essential but we use get little of the TV .....
-
Spinal Richie (@HOLLY073) reported
I never thought I'd say this. BT are actually, somehow, worse than Virgin media.
-
Rosie Trowsdale (@mrstrowsdale) reported
@virginmedia Also I now can’t watch any tv, Netflix, prime or Disney until the new controller arrives - how do I get a refund for that period considering I’m paying for the tv service?!
-
MaartenX. (@MaartenSleeckx) reported
@virginmedia The fact the engineers keep coming back over and over again would suggest there is an issue they are unable to handle or repair. If you have been advised of an outage, by a consumer, who diligently explained the issue isn't new you should pay more attention to what he said. Me.
-
Nathan87 (@hartshorne5) reported
@virginmedia my subscription cost shot up to £145 a month, called and asked to to drop it to broadband only, to be told I must pay £64 a month instead of the advertised £32 as I’m an existing customer! Why treat existing customers so poorly??
-
YorkshireWolf (@leodis74) reported
@virginmedia I shouldn't have to call up and waste another 30 mins plus of my time. I've already called and get nowhere with your customer teams I would appreciate a DM and someone making more of an effort. You have illegally taken money without giving me chance to hand equipment back.
-
Keely Johnson (@Keelybeans) reported
@virginmedia To be honest we are tired of going round in circles with this, we have already done a web chat and was told they couldn't resolve our complaint so it was passed to a manager, who did not call when was arranged. We had an email instead which we responded to and did not get a reply
