@virginmedia when your marketing team ring you and tell you that you have internet issues, advised I didn’t have any issues and the rude call handler just hung up. Rang from 01484313420. Not the best reflection for the company is it.

Anyone else on @virginmedia getting that weekly thing when their internet collapses again on a Sunday night? I’ve asked them repeatedly and they deny it but it’s a weekly outage like clockwork #VMSundayOutage

@virginmedia Terrible as always, you cannot deliver in this area, you’ve promised for a few years now but nothing changes, I’ve had to put us on unlimited data on the phones as the WiFi is not fit for purpose, I am on the highest speed apparently… shocking

@virginmedia But that costumer service was abysmal, the person took ages to reply, and when it did, tried to sell me the same internet package I have for more than what I pay currently even...I don't want to have to upgrade my package to "fix" my internet, I just want the speeds I hired

I never been so mistreated by @virginmedia like I was today, the staff on the live chat literally "hang up" on me mid support... absolutely gutted, saved all the conversation and I will seek citizens advice over this, that is no way of treating a 6+ years costumer

@virginmedia told by them today that problems with “catch up” service not something that was paid for so in effect had to put up with the poor performance, in the end offered a tenner! Perhaps there is a better solution, ie get rid of them & get someone who cares 🖕

@iamaafaq @virginmedia Mine is the same. Though I suspect it's my router rather than the actual connection. Been through the tech support nonsense and they keep saying it must be my device 🙄 funny that 3 laptops, 2 tablets, 3 phones, a few Alexas and a robot hoover called Bernard all go off.

@virginmedia hi there, we’ve had internet issues since we went to sleep last night. We live in m30. There is a flashing green light on the box, I’ve been on your website to try and reset the box etc. Have you any idea what’s going on?

@virginmedia why won’t my Apple devices work properly on your personal WiFi? What is the solution or should I start charging my phone data bills to you. Your boss heads to space, brilliant but his customers can’t get consistent WiFi in the 21st century. Please help.

@Netflixhelps I haven’t but I’ve streamed it via Virgin Media and EE’s mobile network, so it feels it’s not likely to be that? Can you or someone on the team try streaming it on iOS and letting me know if it works?

@virginmedia Told yesterday that it is a local problem due to be resolved by 12th August, however that seems to be a standard reply which is now becoming tiresome. We have to wonder if @virginmedia have fallen back in the hi tech department & that we should move on to a more reliable provider

So many problems @virginmedia this year, poor system, poor WiFI, poor connections, poor customer service, all seem to be continually getting worse as does the response to complaints. Anyone else putting up with this poor quality? @skytv looking a clear future prospect

-
Robert Pinfold

@virginmedia All it tells me to do is check the cables are plugged in properly, and when I press more help it just says to call you. I've done this many, many times. I don't know why it is so hard to just get a replacement hub? Just to try to eliminate the problems
-
Snoopy
(@NortholtEng) reported
@virginmedia For 3 to 4 years we have had problems with our internet and were advised each time that we needed to upgrade because the problem was caused by the number of WiFi connections we had. This has now been shown to be incorrect and after upgrading again the cable has to be replaced.
-
Noah Sark
(@HeelyBarker) reported
@virginmedia No, WIFI. Down all day yesterday but back to normal today. Point is the service status website said no issues but when you call up to report a problem pre recorded message says there is a major problem taking longer to fix than they thought. Web page is pointless if not updated.
