@virginmedia It tells me there is a problem with my tv service which is working fine and my broadband is ok which it is not, this has been going on for weeks now

@ramfrancisuk @robmckenzieuk @virginmedia Well this is a new business install... The lack of why there is a problem is the infuriating part. More so, I've taken two days out of my holiday to be there for their install engineers.

@virginmedia We don’t have a home phone hooked up. So If I phone, I’ll be charged on my mobile. Can I please have the contact details of the complaints department. It’s unacceptable that Virgin thinks its okay to let their customers go without service for several hours.

@virginmedia Yes. I was assured that it would be fixed by 9.20 this morning after dealing with support from abroad that took 20 mins. Tried again 7 hours later and same result.

@ramfrancisuk @virginmedia That’s what I am thinking… they are placing a business package in a residential area… I’m giving them the option to just cancel everything and let me move on… but we’ll see what unfolds…

@ramfrancisuk I’m told there is a fault….. but no idea what type of fault….. Oh well, back to work today after 2 weeks off, crap weather throughout, now got a cracked wisdom tooth I think, and no update from @virginmedia on my business install… I’ll change my name to MARVIN I think…

@vmbusinesshelp @virginmedia New cable installed on Monday, still no service. Being told that they checked this with the internal team and advised that the national hit issue is still outstanding… I am seriously considering cancelling before this becomes even worse!!

@virginmedia Sorry, I can say for certain regarding wired as I don’t have an ethernet cable to test but wireless is constantly down - usually a few times a day signal completely stops.

@virginmedia This is a new installation, and I was told the thing would be operation on Monday 10th after cable installed. I was then told, there is a system problem with Virgin… so I’m a week down the road and no further forward.. Frustrating with no details on why this is happening to me.

@EE Why are you advising everyone who is affected by this outage they can use wifi calling? I can't and it dropped out the moment your services dropped out at around 13:10 today!! My wifi is fine and all in the green via Virgin Media. Check your facts!

@virginmedia I have posted on there and looks at some threads regarding this issue. Apparently Virgin are aware of it and have been for atleast 3 months no resolution. So currently paying for services I'm not recieving?If Virgin cannot uphold their end of the contract cancel it Free of charge

I think building up a social media following is to give themselves a larger profile - presumably with the intent to monetise this down the line. This diverts time and focus away from journalism and more towards actavism.

@virginmedia Ok, they’re sending out an engineer next Tuesday. Am I expected to wait until then for a possible fix? I say possible because even he couldn’t assure me that they would be able to fix it. I WFH every day, I can’t tether data until then
