@virginmedia Yeah, I’ve already done this. I had a guy sent out to take a look and he just left without fixing it. Mind I can’t use most of these support things cause I was never sent my customer number or contract information. This does also make it so I’m unable to cancel my contract @Ofcom

don mackeen (@donmackeen) reported from Glasgow, Scotland

@virginmedia What is going on with your customer care(?) line? I call 789, I get an automated voice telling me that calls are not being connected to this number and I'm told to call 789 to speak to a member of the team, so i call 789, I get an automated voice.........!

@virginmedia had the technician come out today after days of patchy service. Got the hub changed, and ... Service still terrible. And now I'm to wait "24 hours"...
-
bristian cungay (@ChristianBunga7) reported from Glasgow, Scotland
@virginmedia As I said earlier, I’ve had no internet for the past month and continue to be charged. I can’t use most of your support services as I’ve never been sent any of my customer information @virginmedia
-
oor Jim (@jimnimmo60) reported from Airdrie, Scotland
@O2 @virginmedia probably the worst mobile phone company to deal with. Customer service is a joke. Trying to resolve fraudulent activity on my account and no understanding. Abysmal. Please go anywhere else except them. Just cut me off now.

Iain Montgomery (@H0raceWimp) reported from Dennistoun, Scotland
@virginmedia What am I supposed to do when your systems fail and there is no-one to contact for a fix?
-
Willem_Wikkelspies (@spongebath63) reported from Dennistoun, Scotland
@virginmedia I'm trying to contact the customer care number but I'm told thar calls are not being connected to that number (789) I'm then told to call 789 to speak to a team member...

princealbertofmonaco (@WeeLemLug) reported from Glasgow, Scotland
@virginmedia An absolute joke of call , Your advisor just told me to cancel my full contract !! He was laughing and joking with people whilst on the call to me , Can someone please call me ?
-
bristian cungay (@ChristianBunga7) reported from Glasgow, Scotland
@virginmedia The checks tell me there are issues. regardless I don’t really care about wider issues in my area. I’ve been sent in a loop for the past month and it’s still broken, I’ve been paying for this time and not receiving a service - this is not the first time either @Ofcom
-
bristian cungay (@ChristianBunga7) reported from Glasgow, Scotland
@virginmedia He treated me like I was stupid. Turned it off and on again and replugged the wires, he replaced the box and left. I mean I am stupid but there really was no need @virginmedia
-
bristian cungay (@ChristianBunga7) reported from Glasgow, Scotland
Hey @virginmedia it’d be pretty cool if you guys fixed my internet at some point. Like i know I’ve only spent £30 trying to call you guys and I did get to speak to this nice angry man on your support line who hung up on me immediately (which is a bargain)
-
don mackeen (@donmackeen) reported from Glasgow, Scotland
@virginmedia That's useless. The service comes and goes, so you won't compensate me. And if have to deal with a "service" that continually cuts out
-
bristian cungay (@ChristianBunga7) reported from Glasgow, Scotland
@virginmedia The ‘step by step help’ doesn’t help. It tells me thing I already know - restart hub check connections, reset.
-
don mackeen (@donmackeen) reported from Glasgow, Scotland
@virginmedia The service checker tells me either nothing, or - as in the screenshot - something completely contradictory. There is no way to communicate with anyone and yet, strangely enough, you still charge me for a service which only works intermittently.
Virgin Media Issues Reports
Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:
-
Peter D-D (@pdonduncan) reported
@virginmedia I have been issuing complaints for over 4 months but nothing gets fixed. I have asked for compensation under the scheme but certainly haven't received £8.40 per day for total loss of service. Next stop is to contact the Ombudsman as VM isn't taking this seriously.
-
Colin Bailey (@Colin__Bailey) reported
@jeanneanna @virginmedia Not good Renee! hope they sort it for you. I can't claim to be vulnerable, but I work from home using broadband, so financially this is costing me money, and lets not start on the kids constantly asking why there is no Wi-Fi. And as an update @virginmedia its still not working
-
Paul Hampton (@forester101) reported

-
MMmm (@MMmm45228284) reported
@virginmedia Has impacted on my mobile data usage which I have almost used up due to @virginmedia incompetence. £8.30 per day is not enough to cover all expenses we are incurring as a result of your crap service.
-
m (@leipperm) reported
@acefaceaaron @virginmedia If I was you I would seriously consider buying a 5G router if you've got a good signal in your area. We've also been waiting on virgin to fix a cable and ended up buying a 5g router and are seeing speeds of 300 mbs from @EE for £30 per month.
-
Andy Paul (@gozar65) reported
@virginmedia Another stability issue in the area if it doesn’t get fixed in 24 hours I can complain again and something might get fixed. Accounts however just tried to sell me increased support when I said I was thinking of leaving
-

@vmbusiness migration to digital, every touch point a fail. Little help, support and no documentation. Disappointing service.
-
jamie skinner (@jae_skinner81) reported
@vmbusiness can’t believe how poor your service is. Miss sold a product. Forced to keep business line in a residential address after your resi team telling me I can move it over to resi with no charge and no cancellation period only now to be told it can’t be done that way! Joke!
-
Simon.Mount (@pseuderman) reported
@craig_dw @virginmedia As far as I can tell, they all seem to be awful.
