who cares about this mess with RTÉ, the real issue is sooner Virgin Media start calling themselves TV3 again the sooner my life can go back to normal.

  • COSiorain Carol-Ann O' Síoráin PhD (@COSiorain) reported from Dublin City, Leinster

@virginmedia I wasn’t waiting to get through, the problem is related to communication skills, being able to listen to exactly the customer’s needs and being able to evaluate what is required, checking in with the customer to clarify needs- good listen and analysis needed

  • DivaDanese Danese Cooper (@DivaDanese) reported from Dublin City, Leinster

@geekygirldawn @virginmedia Happened at my house a few months ago. Turned out a local farmer cut the fiber with a backhoe while trying to dig a trench. They fixed it, but didn’t acknowledge the outage until after it had been resolved...

  • pmobsligo Peter (@pmobsligo) reported from Dublin City, Leinster

@p_burnzzz @pauldonaldillon @irishfabian @NUJofficial @rte Agree - if they were all removed RTE would still have financial issues. If it’s like the rest of the public sector, salaries are probably 40% higher than equivalents in Virgin Media, Communicorp, etc.

@VirginMediaIE Since moving to virgin media I don’t think I’ve ever had more than 2 bars of coverage! Sometimes it just knocks off which is very worrying especially if I’m in an area with no WiFi. I’m in Dublin City so and haven’t changed location so I don’t know what the problem is

  • vickyshilling Vicky (@vickyshilling) reported from Fingal County, Leinster

@simonrim @virginmedia You wait for the actual service and dealing with support when you get cut off unexpectedly! Worst mistake I ever made going with them, ended up with no service for a month and eventually changed provider for half the price and more reliable.

  • COSiorain Carol-Ann O' Síoráin PhD (@COSiorain) reported from Dublin City, Leinster

Very poor service from @virginmedia 43 minutes on phone to sort a small issue!

  • DaveyDonn Davey Donnelly (@DaveyDonn) reported from Dublin City, Leinster

The actual hack of Irish TV at the moment. Bridget and Eamon on RTE and the laughably appalling Darklands on Virgin Media. I don’t think I’ve ever seen anything as hideously bad on Irish Television.

  • jptdizon John Patrick Dizon (@jptdizon) reported from Dublin City, Leinster

@virginmedia @VirginMediaIE your internet sucks! Been offline since last night! Fix it!😡

@virginmedia thank you for talking with me via webchat, it was fruitless however as your policy states that you can't cancel an installation or an account vbefore they start?

@virginmedia As mentioned, I wasn’t in the UK. I had to turn roaming off in Guatemala because I was getting charged a lot for voicemails that I wasn’t even listening to. Seems odd that there is no guarantee that I can use a service I am paying for.. I tried a manual search but no joy..
