For most people these timeouts wouldn’t even be noticed but my day job is working in IT and we use VPN and each timeout is a disconnect so it’s very noticeable . Same with Microsoft Teams calls “Searching for network “

Timeouts on cat6 & wifi

One of my neighbours rang virgin, they said it won’t be back until around 8pm, I need it at 6🙃this is happening far too often @virginmedia, paying 7 grand for a masters I can’t go to class for!

Emma Stansfield (@EmmaSStansfield) reported@virginmedia Received replacement hub 3, tried in modem only mode with a different WiFi router which solved WiFi issue but not internet connection issue. Customer service told us we couldn’t do this so had to remove. Numerous reboots, purchased powerline WiFi extenders but not compatible.
