Virgin Media Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • safiyahtasneem Safiyah Tasneem (@safiyahtasneem) reported

@virginmedia are awful at dealing with internet issues. 2 months now of intermittent internet where I’ve had to use my phone data AT HOME because the internet is so bad, whilst also paying £62 for this crappy service?! Absolutely ridiculous

  • Musashi1596 Mark Dorney (@Musashi1596) reported

@virginmedia Hi, I’m unable to use the Reddit app when not on wifi. Only that, everything else is fine. Last time this happened it was due to newly added parental controls, but these are disabled so it shouldn’t be an issue. Any suggestions?

  • ClarkySpurs Clarky (@ClarkySpurs) reported

@virginmedia Surely there is a reference for the complaint that she emailed about, though?

  • JonReesePOI JR (@JonReesePOI) reported

@virginmedia I have posted on the forums in the link above. Unfortunately the response times are awfully slow. But then your phone lines are even worse. I've got 3 days left of my 14 day cooling off period, and I'm seriously considering looking elsewhere!

  • EelesWasTaken Anthony Eeles (@EelesWasTaken) reported

Figured I’d give @virginmedia one last chance, and just asked them to match a new customer deal in the context of all the service issues we’ve had. No, “new customers only” is still a thing, apparently.

  • zunaine zunaine (@zunaine) reported

@virginmedia hello. Why has you services been lacking since Sunday and only today the service checker showed thst my arrea has intermittent issues. Will the issue will be resolved soon as the issue is affecting my work.

  • EnneadGames Mobius Tempus (@EnneadGames) reported

@virginmedia Yeah, thats not gonna happen as the last time I did that they tried to sell me an upgrade I didn't want OR need, yet a new customer gets the same if not better deal for much less...

  • MarkKidley Mark Kidley 🇺🇦 (@MarkKidley) reported

@virginmedia It’s the WiFi in your hub 4 that’s the issue, I get full speed from Ethernet. Had to plug in my old Vodafone router to get work done on WiFi it’s that bad.

  • stevejmcc Steve McCormack (@stevejmcc) reported

@virginmedia OK. The app does show there's a problem, with an estimated fix time of 4pm tomorrow (24 March) which is pretty poor to fix a landline after several days with no service.

  • ClarkySpurs Clarky (@ClarkySpurs) reported

@virginmedia You haven’t raised it. Your colleague confirmed when she looked it wasn’t raised and now all I’ve got is the say so that an email has been sent with no reference to match it to. It’s needs sorting. It’s your mess, you need to fix it.
