    Virgin Media Ireland says it doesn’t have a “repair time frame” on a sizeable broadband outage affecting “the Dublin area”. It hopes that the undiagnosed issue will be fixed today as, “given the scale it would be very rare for this to continue for the full day”.

    @virginmedia The person who arranged the subsequent engineer also took my complaint about stopping my original appointment though poor technical knowledge or poorly designed process, and said someone will call - NOTHING! Is that a Boris J approach or are they busy with a tsunami of complaints

    No access to email all day. The dollop on the end of the phone at #virginmedia sounded like a bored teenager and couldn't help - handed it to IT apparently a couple of hours ago. Nothing yet. Not holding my breath.

    @virginmedia Oh, they are for the most part. Just.. they're still rubbish. I don't want to upgrade the entire package. 100Mbps down is fine. But I am a streamer so a max of 10Mbps is not great. Especially when I average about 7Mbps and so I can't play any online games whilst I stream.
