The @virginmedia service I get is unreliable and over priced. I guess it’s a matter of switching, as when I call their Help Service the well-meaning scripted responses frustrate me.
-
Kathy Tomlinson (@kathytomlinson_) reported from Newton Poppleford and Harpford, England
@virginmedia I was given a complaint number on Thursday night and was told I would receive a call back within 24 hours but I haven't heard anything

@virginmedia Already done. Service is o. Just always defaults to slow. And your telephone service is terrible. 48 minutes waiting then get cut off

@virginmedia why am I being promised a call from your emergency engineers this morning, then when no phone call comes through, I ring and get rudeness, and told that no one can see me until Tuesday?? When I was told someone would be coming out this weekend!

Christ talking to virgin media is an uphill battle, finally got a better deal and also saving money with a new mobile sim. Good tech service but customer service is god awful.

@virginmedia @oppo @Wimbledon Ran a speed test on my 100meg again. Come up with 4.2. Reset got me to 56.2. Soon went down to 10. And now 5 that stayed for most of the day. Despite resetting twice. Such a bad router.

Just Dave (@M0YAA) reported
@virginmedia No, it's a replacement for a current sim. I requested one for my number, you sent one for my sons number. Several chats and a complaint which did nothing apart from generate an apology letter and still waiting.

Ed S (@iMiMiMx) reported
.@virginmedia down since ~2am, no fix until later this afternoon (hopefully). @opnsense failed over to 4G seamlessly, 40Mbps seriously sucks compared to 600. Just about handling Eurosport for #wsbk, Netflix in the other room; thankfully we don't have to watch the same thing!

Not Virgin Media still threatening me with charges after a 6 week long (& counting) fiasco due to simply wanting to cancel broadband for a house no longer lived in. You’ve sent an e-mail asking for feedback & by god you’re going to get it in spades! 😠🤡

@virginmedia daughter moving into house that needs boosters, previous tenant (her brother) had them, requested on order and told that cannot send with router, have to go through app afterwards. Please help resolve as your saying we will give you known poor service first.

@callmejiggly @virginmedia It will now be my life’s work to ensure nobody I know ever signs up to their clownery of a service ever again.
