James (@rando__) reported from Eight Ash Green, EnglandShocking from @bt_uk ... mum and step dad ordered broadband 3 weeks ago for new property, engineer booked for today, doesn’t turn up. Ring them and told no network is built and won’t be for a while, yet website says everything’s up and running! Complaint made.
-
James bartlett (@Darkestfrost) reported from Braintree, England@T3RRAF0RM @StadiaWorks @Webby317 @bt_uk On my s10 plus it works great. Connection takes about 2-3 minutes to settle down (lag on controls) but after that I dont notice anything. Looks great on the little screen to! But I wouldn't pay for the service atm.
-
Anne Ruddock (@AnneRuddock) reported from Colchester, England@bt_uk Not a new build at all. Several operators ordered my broadband (phone line’s working fine) & then it kept being cancelled by the service provider. Numerous phone calls to yourselves, promised call backs didn’t happen. I gave you over 2 weeks to sort it out before going elsewhere

-
James (@rando__) reported from Colchester, England@bt_uk There isn’t that’s the problem... everytime the track order says update on such a date it then just says delayed. Really is disgraceful.
-
Brian O'Keefe (@rider45) reported from Great Baddow, England@K_Katastrophe @DebbieFletcher @bt_uk Plusnet is separate from BT but owned by them, I think you’ll find with the big companies that customer service is poor, especially now with many call centres cut back, I’ve been with BT broadband since 2001 not let me down thus far.
-

James bartlett (@Darkestfrost) reported from Braintree, England@StadiaWorks @Webby317 @T3RRAF0RM @bt_uk No. Xcloud is using off site servers. Xcloud console streaming is using console hardware. No interest in stadia at all. I'm in the beta for xcloud and it runs seamlessly (for me) even when on a 4g network.

markdann. (@mrkdnnx) reported@bt_uk are an absolute joke. No internet and we get told “we have done everything we can, just keep restarting your router.” How about you actually attend to look at the issue because ever since you moved the router it’s awful!
-
Larissa Collins🇱🇹🇮🇪🏴 (@CollinsLarissa) reported@bt_uk So you’re making an upgrade I never asked for and it’s still cost me over an hour on the phone because you can’t get your appointments in the right order. I don’t care about your rigid systems - I’m the customer. I care even less that ‘AI did it’ - you trained it.
-

Online Radio Stations based in Wigan and St Helens and Weston-super-Mare and Burnham-on-Sea have also gone out at random times so it's in multiple areas as well are BT even on the problem fixing why the whole countries internet is going out at random times at the moment?

Trevor Chenery (@Krisp06) reported@countrymousie @btbusinesscare I wouldn't have thought so. You can keep your landline but you would need to move it -eventually - to a 'digital supplier' when the line service finally ends. However, I checked with Dr Google & his Elves & they made the following points which sound like very good news. "Starlink does not directly provide a traditional copper landline service, but it can fully replace one as part of the UK PSTN switch-off by supporting Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) services. You can keep your existing phone number and handset by using a VoIP adapter connected to the Starlink router, suitable for replacing old copper lines. How it Works: Starlink provides high-speed internet, allowing you to use third-party VoIP providers (e.g., Plexatalk, Premitel) to make calls via your internet connection. Requirements: You will need a VoIP Analogue Telephone Adapter (ATA) to plug your existing telephone handset into the Starlink Wi-Fi router. Suitability: VoIP over Starlink is ideal for rural areas where copper is being removed, offering sufficient speed and reliability.Alternatives: If you do not wish to use VoIP, you may look at mobile phone-based solutions, which are also often used when replacing old copper lines. As the UK moves towards a digital-only network by 2027, switching to a VoIP service via a broadband connection like Starlink is a common solution." You need to find & check it al lout with a good IT man to help you through the key steps & stages. You may also need to invest in new telephone hand sets around your house to replace your old BT ones. You won't need wires to connect them, it all works digitally through the air.
