Jay O! (@BeOnTheRocks) reported from Chelmsford, England@bt_uk @MoneyTelegraph this is how BT are treating their loyal customers! They refuse to help me smugly telling me my fault!

Jon Stannard (@JonStannard) reported from Southend-on-Sea, England@premierleague serious questions need to be asked about the ref and VAR. If Pickford had broken VVD leg? No action? Still accountable for his actions, the offside is irrelevant. #Peterwalton @btsport
-
daniel munn (@dpmunn19) reported from Aveley, EnglandI am so gutted I can’t watch @WestHam all thanks to @btsport and @EE when I pay £15 a month for a service and now I can not log in because my BT ID no longer works and get told I have to wait 72 hours for it to be sorted. Absolute Joke. 😡😡😡😡
-
Glenn Easlea (@GlennEaze1000) reported from Thundersley, England@btsport Martin Keown for ever the neutral pundit ! In one sentence he wants contact but next you can fall down when someone tickles your back !! Get him off the screen useless !!
-
Hannah Wright (@hwrightxo) reported from Thundersley, England@bt_uk The 4g mini hub you’ve sent me isn’t working. It doesn’t show up when I search for it under Wifi. Tried a hard reset & held the button down. Any ideas?
-
Roly's Arcade (@RetrogamesNow) reported from Brentwood, England@BTCare we are at our wits end with your customer service. You continually cancel our appointments as you say our service is fixed but it’s INTERMITTENT! And you have already admitted it’s a terrible service, and every weekend regular as clockwork you cancel our next engineer!
-
Richard Burgess (@Cover4Caravans) reported from Southend-on-Sea, England@wellhousecamper @BTCare VOIP is the way to go. Avoids their tragic service.
-
Marc Karbaron (@Karbs1961) reported from Basildon, England@bt_uk that this has been sorted. Just rang back a second time and after 1hr on hold the phone cut off. I am appalled at the disgusting service I have received having been a long term customer. I entered into a new contract with you I don’t expect bills for double the amount 2/3
-
Martin Chamberlain (@martinc1970) reported from Stone, England@bt_uk Direct debit cancelled. I don't see why I should pay my bill when you've got no interest in fixing my broadband or even providing me with a service or update within 50 days. You should be paying me compensation too.
-
Secret Hamper ™ (@Secrethamper) reported from Tolleshunt Major, EnglandHi @bt_uk our phone lines are down yet again, the 3rd time in as many weeks and 1-4 days to fix… this is our busiest time of year and we are missing lots of potential business which is costing us dearly
-
Marion Pettet 💙 (@MarionPettet) reported from Kelvedon Hatch, EnglandThank you @bt_uk for helping me. It seems that I wasn't correct as they resolved the issue within their time frame & I wasn't entitled. (The wording could be clearer though.) They also compensated me for a missed visit. I apologize.
-
Glenn Easlea (@GlennEaze1000) reported from Thundersley, England@btsport Martin Keown if Var is in then Arsenal never get the pen end off
-
Ann Cardus (@a4ann) reported from Brentwood, England@bt_uk We're having to reboot router to get things working. Twice today. Yesterday evening there was an issue too and... It's too frequent and doesn't match with the WiFi guarantee
BT (British Telecom) Issues Reports
Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:
-
Alexandra O'Byrne (@AlexaOByrne) reported@simboman @stokeygurl @bt_uk Could not agree more! During my many calls with BT I’ve been told this is affecting tens of thousands of customer accounts. Waiting for my paper bill for which BT “kindly waived the £3 fee”. Luckily, I’m “out of contract” and hence able to move to another provider.
-
Amy Lou (@Lashes_N_Ink) reported@bt_uk why do your representatives feel it is ok to hang up on elderly customers? I’ve been helping my nan with internet, told 2 different stories, didn’t show up on installation date, then told can’t do it because of careline, £95 offer revoked. Disgusting behaviour!
-
DemonicSuccubus (@MissSatanism) reported@bt_uk We’ve done this. But they don’t help. You guys give no help whatsoever. You are genuinely useless. How can you not provide an update based on postcode?
-
Kenta (@nemurikyosirou) reported@bt_uk If you cannot resolve this here/via DM, issue a "Deadlock Letter" immediately so I can take this case to the Communications Ombudsman.
-
Graeme Davis (@GraemeDavis) reported@bt_uk Thanks for this @bt_uk - i did manage to speak to a BT *human being* and the problem is outside my home, BUT the process has triggered BT to book a fourth appointment to connect me to fibre. I’ve had three engineers who say it is impossible - Grade 2 listed house in a conservation area; cables would need multiple way leaves, no practical cable access to my house which is permitted by Grade 2, difficulty of routing inflexible cables once inside. I’ve accepted this, fibre cannot be installed to my home. How do I cancel the engineer and not rebook the engineer appointment which has been set up? There appears to be a lock on the system where it can only be rebooked even by BT; cancellation is absolutely impossible. Should I try a letter? Any phone process doesn’t work as operatives are not authorised to cancel but can only rebook.
-
Vae Vix 🇫🇷 🇦🇺 🇨🇭 🇬🇧 (@VaeVix) reported@bt_uk Your new "2FA" is completely broken as the phone number is not validated. I was able to connect using a temporary number in Cyprus to get my "security" code... It adds nothing to security.
-
Lisa & Millie (@LisaHewitt67) reported@bt_uk you don’t make it easy to be contacted and discuss an issue
-
Ann Palmer (@AnniePShoreham) reported@bt_uk No I won’t do that. I have spent far too many hours of my life at various times over the last year trying to get this sorted. Please pass this to the complaints team - the agent I spoke to on 5/3 promised to sort it. Another epic fail.
-
James Sadler (@JSads1983) reported@bt_uk Thank you, but these were engineers, who wanted to gain access to my home even though I hadn't approved a visit. When asked for ID, they became rude. They left and then attempted to come back later. Again, with no ID or any official looking job sheet.

Jessica (@Jessica67669786) reported@ArmchairAdml @bt_uk this elderly gentleman has been a loyal customer for many years. He is now out of contract paying an extortionate price. Surely you can assist him in obtaining a reasonable priced package for his needs, and perhaps issue a refund for out of contract price hike?
