The issue is you weren’t able to spot whether it was a scam number or not. So the question is why are BT as a company putting their customers through this? James Sadler (@JSads1983) reported@bt_uk Thank you, but these were engineers, who wanted to gain access to my home even though I hadn't approved a visit. When asked for ID, they became rude. They left and then attempted to come back later. Again, with no ID or any official looking job sheet.

fuey (@hongkongfu3y) reported@bt_uk hello BT. I was a BT customer for years but was shifted onto EE. I have a broadband package with them and 2 sim only deals (originated as BT sims) If I change back to BT would I still get the mobile discount with EE being the same as BT or would that change??
