@bt_uk Just upgraded to fibre 500, getting 120mbps on average. Slower than my previous BT package. Been told speed cannot be accurately measured into my hub. Still in cooling off period anything else I can try before I cancel it ?

  • PapaDodds Chris Dodds (@PapaDodds) reported from South Shields, England

@bt_uk worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. Week 7, still no line working, 4 engineers, 3 credit checks and 30 false promises to get back in touch. But hey, your still charging me for this.

  • MarkMowbrayNE Mark Mowbray (@MarkMowbrayNE) reported from Blyth, England

Not only is the @bt_uk wifi poor on my smart hub 2 but the lack of channels available is terrible. BT need to sort this out and expand the available WiFi channel choice to prevent neighbours clashing

Fully subscribed to @btsport for several years now but I refuse to watch another @NUFC **** show! #bruceout #EVENEW

  • Raring2goNewcas Raring2Go! Newcastle (@Raring2goNewcas) reported from Newcastle upon Tyne, England

Technology… why does it fail when you want to watch live sport? #itv has vanished from our telly. 🙄 good job we’ve got a back up tv with old fashioned aerial. I see we didn’t miss much when trying to retune… #POLENG @bt_uk full package fail again…

  • Raring2goNewcas Raring2Go! Newcastle (@Raring2goNewcas) reported from Newcastle upon Tyne, England

@BTCare @bt_uk hello, hope you can help please? After a 95 minute phone call on Saturday your advisor assured me my problems would be solved by an engineer tomorrow. I’ve had no email or text to confirm this. Please advise.

  • taylersant Tayler (@taylersant) reported from Newburn, England

@bt_uk have been waiting three weeks for our internet to be installed, nobody turns up for appointment today, ring up to be spoken down too and told nobody was booked in so I need to rebook!!!! Worst customer service ever and having a nightmare before we even get our broadband!!!

  • PapaDodds Chris Dodds (@PapaDodds) reported from South Shields, England

@bt_uk Can you not just get an English person to call me direct to fix this please? I’ve been passed about for 6-7 weeks now.

BT commentator- “ you have to get it on target or you will not trouble the keeper or make him make a mistake” fantastic awareness.... #newcry #btsport #NUFC

  • WASNAPPER Martin (@WASNAPPER) reported from Whitley Bay, England

@bt_uk can we have an update on the outage Middlesbrough TS5

  • SmarProcurement David Hall (@SmarProcurement) reported from Whitley Bay, England

For me @btsport have taken the mantle from @talkSPORT for the worst cricket coverage. Matt Smith is a good football presenter but is clearly not a cricket follower and the commentary they are using from Fox is terrible. If @bbctms can send their to team to Australia why not BT?

  • andrew14ad Andrew Davis (@andrew14ad) reported from Newcastle upon Tyne, England

@msmith850 @btsport Never in doubt they are back

  • andyb7274 Andy Brown (@andyb7274) reported from Bedlington, England

@MarkMowbrayNE @redvanman12 @bt_uk Its what they're told to do (been there, done it) or were at the time. Probably changed now, but blame process not the poor agent on crap money 🙃

  • jennifercribbes Jennifer (@jennifercribbes) reported from Ashington, England

Massively disappointed with @bt_uk my mam is in tears with how she has been treated by customer services. Had no phone line for weeks due to a fault then charged loads of timeline charges. Transferred through to a number of staff no one in BT has ever heard of a timeline charge??

  • joshybanyard Josh Banyard ⚫⚪⚫⚪ (@joshybanyard) reported from Longbenton, England

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • Xanxus67294671 Xanxus (@Xanxus67294671) reported

@bt_uk makes no sense, what is the merit in that, it should be something you should be doing in the first place, raising the case without reopening the complaint; is this your way of trying to get your goodwill back???? pfft

  • Xanxus67294671 Xanxus (@Xanxus67294671) reported

@bt_uk If he reopens the complaint removes the goodwill which is justified to be given to me, you just admitted that your still blaming open reach and you will just raise the case for that is it? that is your review? wtf is the point in that? just leave it, this is just getting worse...

  • gilesshaxted Giles Shaxted (@gilesshaxted) reported

@bt_uk I may have a mobile phone that doesn't mean I have signal where I live. Besides the point. I don't pay for a landline just to use my mobile phone. I just want to know. Can I have my phone line working instead of digital voice which doesn't work.

  • russy_1 russy-1 (@russy_1) reported

@bt_uk have you considered that by 'upgrading' people to a digital service you will be cutting off many many people who if they have a power outage will be completely unable to contact anyone or even report it to @UKPowerNetworks or worse if unwell call 999???

  • renzookie Ren (@renzookie) reported

@bt_uk I'm talking with someone on webchat but he's not being much help. I need an engineer out to my home today to resolve this ASAP

  • gilesshaxted Giles Shaxted (@gilesshaxted) reported

@bt_uk Or would you rather provide a back up generator or battery back up system for my rural property so I can make emergency calls when the power is out.

  • gilesshaxted Giles Shaxted (@gilesshaxted) reported

@bt_uk Actually no I don't. But that was a great assumption. I'm just asking why I can't have my old phone line working as it works and the new digital voice is reliant on power being turned on. How do I make an emergency call when the power is out?

  • pdmatth70 Paul Matthews (@pdmatth70) reported

@nigelbushell2 @bt_uk Snap. I’m on my 18th day of no service, thanks to @bt_uk allowing my service to be stopped too. Even though I told them on the 15th May not to let it happen.

  • Xanxus67294671 Xanxus (@Xanxus67294671) reported

@bt_uk if you really mean and care to help your customer, do all 3 things without removing any goodwill. or since i believe after going through all that i have i deserve that goodwill and more. i should expect a negative response, let me get ready to be dissapointed again.

  • Heccles94 Harry Eccles (@Heccles94) reported

Also, how can I fail a credit check (my credit is excellent, i have just bought a house and mortgage) for the cheaper package, and then miraculously pass it for the more expensive? Not fair. @bt_uk and @EE really need to sort this out.
