    It never ceases to amaze me that a full service bank @HSBC_UK can be so unhelpful. I only wanted to pay in a cheque (rarity I know) into my @firstdirect account, but it was all so much hassle. Machines not working, no paying in slips. Unhelpful staff! FD you are so much better!!

    Has anyone been short changed by a bank cash point in Ealing Broadway centre? Done by @LBGplc bank about 6m ago, who then denied the £20 list - today @HSBC_UK deducted £80 out of £100 as an ad hoc service charge. Never happened before, over 40 years. This time it’ll be law!

    @scottgardner76 @HSBC_UK If the bank does not release a statement soon I’ll have to change my payroll to another bank. I can’t touch my money because to log in on the computer you need a code from the app. I can only use debit card.

    @HSBC_UK the paper statements and notifications are criminal waste of money, paper and efforts. I am sure most clients would be happy to receive soft copies. You should offer this service free or reduce charges

    @HSBC_UK Hi Abi. Will call tomorrow then but asking customers to roll back is not acceptable. The issue here is the bank, not the apple software. All other banks (Barclays, Bank of America, Revolut and Wise in my case) work perfectly fine.

    @bat1150gs @HSBC_UK It’s awful. My salary gets paid on that account and I’ve been locked out for weeks now. Their response is to install on another device. Not even the web option works as you need a security code in the app.

    @HSBC_UK There's an issue when you know his sort code & acc no, but it asks you for the card no. His card is in the Philippines. He is almost blind and can hardly hear, hence why I'm complaining on his behalf.

    @HSBC_UK Hello. I went in store to update my contact number on my online banking and now it will not let me sign in... This is not acceptable. The women basically told me I'd have to wait at least 5 days for it to update. This is unacceptable. I need to access my account now.

    @homecookwhole @HSBC_UK Makes no sense (otherwise) That they are closing branches yet making it almost impossible to contact them to get issues resolved. With branches closed how will small businesses deposit cash?

    @HSBC_UK That’s brilliant. I noticed that one the eligibility criteria, it says you must not be an existing customer with HSBC, however wanting to go from a basic HSBC account to an advanced. Is this still possible over the phone? Thanks

    @mrlacey @HSBC_UK Me too. I spent an hour on the phone with HSBC yesterday to fix it and now it's stopped working again. Just the spinnjng wheel. The previous app was always fine.
