    @HSBC_UK the paper statements and notifications are criminal waste of money, paper and efforts. I am sure most clients would be happy to receive soft copies. You should offer this service free or reduce charges

    Has anyone been short changed by a bank cash point in Ealing Broadway centre? Done by @LBGplc bank about 6m ago, who then denied the £20 list - today @HSBC_UK deducted £80 out of £100 as an ad hoc service charge. Never happened before, over 40 years. This time it’ll be law!

    @wmarybeard @HSBC_UK Have you looked into Xoom? "You can use Xoom to send money, reload prepaid mobile phones and pay bills around the world if you live in the US, Canada, the UK, and..." We have used this PayPal service to transfer dollar amounts from our US bank into euros in our Dutch account.

    @wmarybeard @HSBC_UK Yes, what irks is that all you want is for the bank worker to be empowered to solve the problem speedily and satisfactorily. Regrettably the banks have these process maps that make you go through endless cycles of being put on hold and transferred. I hope it’s sorted soon!

    @wmarybeard @HSBC_UK I contacted a well known bank 2 report live case of fraud. Iike talking 2 brick wall 4 all the good they did. “We are not aware of a problem..” “ I’ve just reported it to you!!!!” Nothing, nada. Account was open to fraud over night and only closed when I went to the branch!

    @HSBC_UK Trying to help Mom—deaf non-app user—make online payments. We went into branch weeks ago. Staff said they’d arrange for card reader to be posted to her. Hasn’t arrived. How do we chase? Mom deaf so can’t use phone. No-one will talk to me as I’m not your customer.
