HSBC Issues Reports Near Wembley, England

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in Wembley and nearby locations:

  • SmoothRegulator
Peter Crowley (@SmoothRegulator) reported from Ealing, England

Has anyone been short changed by a bank cash point in Ealing Broadway centre? Done by @LBGplc bank about 6m ago, who then denied the £20 list - today @HSBC_UK deducted £80 out of £100 as an ad hoc service charge. Never happened before, over 40 years. This time it’ll be law!

  • jayeshashar
Jayesh Ashar (@jayeshashar) reported from Harrow Weald, England

@HSBC_UK the paper statements and notifications are criminal waste of money, paper and efforts. I am sure most clients would be happy to receive soft copies. You should offer this service free or reduce charges

  • Stefan_baisden
Baisden 📸🎥 (@Stefan_baisden) reported from Ealing, England

@HSBC_UK why do I need to sit on hold for an hour on a Wednesday afternoon? What poor service, Hire more phone staff.

@AxisBank @HSBC_UK @RBI hi RBI team kindly help for the concern it’s been 2 months still I haven’t received any proper support from axis bank for the reversal of the £580 pound. It’s a pathetic service from axis.

  • notcrowie
Phil Crow (@notcrowie) reported from Harrow Weald, England

@HSBC_UK Great. Let me add another twenty minutes to the problem.

  • AndrewCarrier
Andrew Carrier 🍸 (@AndrewCarrier) reported from Kensington, England

@dgwbirch @Barclays Looks familiar. @HSBC_UK does the same thing. Go over your daily payment limit and, rather than say that, you get a indecipherable error message leaving you to imagine it’s an IT issue or worse. Why are established banks so bad at this stuff!?

  • Karashgould
Carol Gould (@Karashgould) reported from Paddington, England

Well, I'm going to name and shame. For 2 days trying to get through to @HSBC_UK because I cannot log on to OnlineBanking . This monolith that pays its top brass a fortune cannot cope with a customer who's stayed with them for 34 years? #disgraceful

  • Warri0rS0ul
Claidhbh Mac Giolla Bhríde (@Warri0rS0ul) reported from Brentford, England

@HSBC_UK Just got another one. Since I'm not a HSBC customer the link isn't of any use to me. Thanks anyway.

@HSBC_UK Abi, I don’t want a complaint, I just want to access my bank account 🥹 I’ll use the option you suggested and if that does not work then I’ll file a complaint but let’s give that option a chance.

  • AndrewCarrier
Andrew Carrier 🍸 (@AndrewCarrier) reported from Paddington, England

@harrynwilson What were they protesting? How diabolically awful @HSBC_UK’s mobile app is?

  • ijaen
Ivan Alexander (@ijaen) reported from Paddington, England

@HSBC_UK Hi Abi. Will call tomorrow then but asking customers to roll back is not acceptable. The issue here is the bank, not the apple software. All other banks (Barclays, Bank of America, Revolut and Wise in my case) work perfectly fine.

  • firstclubworld
Darren (@firstclubworld) reported from Kensington, England

@HSBC_UK is there an HSBC app problem at the moment I have been trying for over a week to use this app and it just closes down when I press the app icon - I have reinstalled and deleted a lot of times but the app only brings up the logo ? I updated to iOS 15.2 recently ? Pls help

  • hemaljadav
Hemal Jadav (@hemaljadav) reported from Brentford, England

@HSBC_UK Since last few days I am unable to get my basic necessities like food, grocery, travel to work because of this. How much more I need to wait. If I say you are blocking access to my basic rights then it won't be exaggeration

  • ijaen
Ivan Alexander (@ijaen) reported from Paddington, England

@scottgardner76 @HSBC_UK If the bank does not release a statement soon I’ll have to change my payroll to another bank. I can’t touch my money because to log in on the computer you need a code from the app. I can only use debit card.

  • ijaen
Ivan Alexander (@ijaen) reported from Paddington, England

@bat1150gs @HSBC_UK It’s awful. My salary gets paid on that account and I’ve been locked out for weeks now. Their response is to install on another device. Not even the web option works as you need a security code in the app.

  • siheron
    Simon Heron (@siheron) reported

@HSBC_UK Thought I’d successfully applied for a new account via the app - I’ve got my sort code & account number - but I can’t get any further to ‘set up mobile banking’ - I get the message ‘service unavailable’ and I have been trying again later for the last 16 hours.

  • joachimnicolas
    Joachim (@joachimnicolas) reported

Atrocious UX on the @HSBC_UK app. When you log on, you need to enter your DOB. The date widget has 3 spinners, for D/M/Y. BUT! It's set to disallow dates in the future, with each spinner restricted. So, today, 9/4/26, it's impossible to start entering a date like 31/12/80. 🧵1/n

  • JimBartholomew1
    Jim Bartholomew (@JimBartholomew1) reported

@HSBC_UK I've just spent the most frustrating and degrading 90 minutes trying to help reset my 91 year old father's telephone banking security number. You should be ashamed to treat a customer who has banked with Midland / HSBC for 50 years in such a manner.

  • jonesy_sa
    Sarah Jones (@jonesy_sa) reported

@pjn151 @HSBC @HSBC_UK I’ve had a community account with Lloyds before so hoping they can help.

  • ViktoriaQuinn
    Miss.Viktoria.Quinn (@ViktoriaQuinn) reported

@adreena_winters @HSBC_UK @StarlingBank They do not discriminate when it comes to charges and taxes though. That’s when the way we earn money is not a problem 🤔

  • MorganMF9867
    Mark (@MorganMF9867) reported

@simonhall1974 @HSBC_UK I had the same issue. A tweet remains unanswered and the promised call back within 5 working days is now 7 days and counting.

  • HexDrone3849
A ******* Nightmare To Live With! (@HexDrone3849) reported

Looks like @HSBC_UK is transphobic as ****.. I would recommend, not using them anymore if you do.. Got an appointment to open another account with less than half the info @HSBC_UK wanted, no problem.. #Transphobia #TransLivesMatter #HSBC

  • ju499

@HSBC_UK block my card for possible fraud. Fair enough, ask me to ring the fraud team. Fair enough. Can’t put me through to the fraud team due to technical issues your end but my card will still be blocked ! Very poor service.

@hsbc_uk I’ve been alerted by CreditKarma to a hard search on my credit file by HSBC, but I haven’t applied for any accounts and I’m not a HSBC customer. Who do I report this to? I’ve tried calling a couple of times but the telephone operators aren’t able to help.
