@HSBC_UK Hi Abi. Will call tomorrow then but asking customers to roll back is not acceptable. The issue here is the bank, not the apple software. All other banks (Barclays, Bank of America, Revolut and Wise in my case) work perfectly fine.

@scottgardner76 @HSBC_UK If the bank does not release a statement soon I’ll have to change my payroll to another bank. I can’t touch my money because to log in on the computer you need a code from the app. I can only use debit card.

@HSBC_UK is there an HSBC app problem at the moment I have been trying for over a week to use this app and it just closes down when I press the app icon - I have reinstalled and deleted a lot of times but the app only brings up the logo ? I updated to iOS 15.2 recently ? Pls help

@bat1150gs @HSBC_UK It’s awful. My salary gets paid on that account and I’ve been locked out for weeks now. Their response is to install on another device. Not even the web option works as you need a security code in the app.

Absolutely appalling levels of customer service with @hsbc_uk business banking -phone service over 1hour wait - but no responsiveness on the Chat app either. If you’re looking for a business account look elsewhere

@HSBC_UK how are businesses that still accept cash transactions supposed to stay with you when you keep cost cutting & closing branches? We don’t get the same level of service from the Post Office. We’re not a cashless society, just another example of disgraceful profiteering !!

@dgwbirch @Barclays Looks familiar. @HSBC_UK does the same thing. Go over your daily payment limit and, rather than say that, you get a indecipherable error message leaving you to imagine it’s an IT issue or worse. Why are established banks so bad at this stuff!?

@PlayersTrombone @HSBC_UK Just spoke to my daughter, she works at our local HSBC here in Weston, if you haven’t done so already she said if you go to your mums branch with ID including photo ID they should be able to sit down with her & resolve the issue of her locked account

@HSBC_UK Please could you tell me when branches are going to resume normal business hours? All branches in Sheffield now only open Mon-Fri. Pre-COVID open at weekends. Surely cramming 7 days of customer traffic into 5 days doesn't promote social distancing?

@IainDale I had an identical reaction (i.e. none) when I moved from First Direct/ @HSBC_UK after 40+ years. The service from FD was very good, but I left because of HSBC support for CCP. I am also now with a British bank and very pleased with the service.

Tell you what @HSBC_UK the idea of paying a cheque in via the app is a great idea. The execution of it it is awful, the camera just cycles through a list of error messages, and then when you do manage to get it to accept the images “something” goes wrong, and won’t it accept.
