@Hyperoptic u have increased yearly commitment contract prices by 25% !!!! But for a new customer who starts with Hyperoptic can still avail the same price I was paying last year. This is insane ! Why this disparity between old and new customer? Plus you hold monopoly in my area.

Hyperopic is down. Circa 11pm. Appreciate the service but it would be nice if their Comms was better in moments like this. Even a template email would be better than having to trawl Twitter for answers #Hyperopticdown @Hyperoptic

  • AM_UK19BONG Abhijit Majumdar (@AM_UK19BONG) reported from Hillingdon, England

@HyperopticCS @Hyperoptic . I have to change address after staying with ypu for 1 year. The new address they can not provide service. Now you want me to pay for remaining term. This is unethical.

@HyperopticCS @Hyperoptic And being in customer support you should have some respect for GDPR. That’s the reason I did not post people’s names. I have their full addresses with@post code if only u cared to DM n ask. #unethicalHyperoptic

  • SOCYearwood Son of Carl 🇧🇧🇯🇲✊🏾💙 (@SOCYearwood) reported from Harrow Weald, England

Very happy to see @OpenreachHelp and @HyperopticCS co-operating last night in Harrow to try and restore service. They would have succeeded were it not for Network Homes not providing staff to open the required wiring cupboard. Here's hoping they sort it out this AM. #Hyperoptic

@Hyperoptic Terrible customer service and even worse end of contract terms. Avoid at any cost, especially if you move home frequently.

  • FPL__Raptor FPL Raptor (Ross) (@FPL__Raptor) reported

I have honestly never known such poor processes in place for a company as @Hyperoptic. Moved in on Monday, they told me they would need to send an engineer out and I'd be contacted in 24 hours to book them in. Nothing. Called back Wednesday, they said they had found a way to activate my system remotely and it would be live within an hour, no need for an engineer (would have been nice to have been told this). Nothing. Called back Thursday, they said they failed so would pass it onto their service support team to activate in manually, and they normally respond in 24 hours (again, would have been nice to be told this). Called back today, they haven't heard from the service support team, and unfortunately cannot contact them via phone, and are only allowed to raise tickets, so they can't call the team for an update or to escalate the issue. Apparently most of this team also don't work over the weekend, so this is probably going into next week. I asked to speak to a general manager to question why this process has been so poor, they aren't allowed to do that either. I should note, each call is about an hour in the queue as well! One of the main reasons I moved to this new apartment was for their internet service, I bloody hope when I eventually get connected it is worth it. I'm just glad I moved when there is no FPL content to be making!

  • WindyinSancreed Simon Menneer (@WindyinSancreed) reported

@Hyperoptic Planned maintenance 9-1 today in St George's Wharf. 6 hours later and it still doesn't work and your customer support is clueless. An update would be appreciated.
