VOTE (@ZoeThomas1204) reported from Guildford, England

I have consistently had issues with the SIM on my phone from @O2 and now there’s no service and I had to go to the store and request help from associates but instead I got a confused and clueless employee who seemed more interested in their snapchats and texts than helping me.

  • natejrogers

So my @O2 contract has now gone back to its normal price (which is double). Does that mean I’m now going to get double the service? I bloody hope so, cos it’s pretty sucky at the moment.

  • HarryRobertson5
Harry Robertson (@HarryRobertson5) reported from Bracknell, England

@ThreeUK been a loyal customer for 6 years, recently brought a new contract through you, yet my upgrade price is far from being a loyal customer, I cant even get an existing customer deal unless I take out a third contract, what a joke! Even @O2 are cheaper than what I was told

  • oliviakhwaja
Olivia Khwaja (@oliviakhwaja) reported from Sunningdale, England

@O2 great marketing activity. But no good doing that if you can’t provide basic service. Have been trying for 2 weeks to buy a new SIM. Passed around everywhere, 40 minute waits, given phone numbers by your South African call centre that don’t work. Not feeling like centre stage.

  • BecOz14
Bec Osborne (@BecOz14) reported from Camberley, England

Have had 1 bar of @O2 signal for most of this year, funnily enough when I tested the signal strength back in July the signal jumped to a MEGA 2 bars momentarily. #NoServiceHere

  • SaintGeorgie
Georgie Tongue (@SaintGeorgie) reported from Wokingham, England

@O2 I spent hours on chat to your advisers trying to cancel my phone contract and was told it was all done. I started a new contract with another provider and now suddenly I have been started on a new o2 tariff??? Help!

  • gonnella
Pete (@gonnella) reported from Woodley, England

@O2 frustrating deal with you guys, 6 months of poor service. Now dealing with your networks team, you quite obviously have a coverage issue in my area. Please just let me leave my sim only contract early thanks.

O2 Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • paalston
    Peter Alston (@paalston) reported

@TomTugendhat @O2 @EE Make it the law, ofcom, that if there’s no decent reception on your chosen provider then mobiles piggyback onto a service which is actually available whenever you are, akin to the 999 thing - your mobile provider pick up the cost. Arguably just one UK network would be better

  • drhanko2
    Dr Hanko Honkasson (@drhanko2) reported

@TomTugendhat @O2 @EE Tom Tugendhat suggesting that somehow the Government is responsible for very poor coverage by privately run mobile networks in Dulwich, and that taxpayer should be funding improvements for companies like EE (2025 profits £1.2 billion) as infrastructure rather than cycle lanes.

  • CHECKEREDLESTER

  • FionaLondonarts

@O2 SIX DAYS for a reply to my messsage! I do feel valued as a customer... This simply confirms my decision to leave O2 for a proper grown-up network. Woeful service all round.

  • ChrisHa21736755
    Chris (@ChrisHa21736755) reported

@TomTugendhat @O2 @EE The UK mobile companies have been dealing with massive 4G and 5G investment costs and ever decreasing margins due to reducing contract prices. Meanwhile mobile use continues to rise leading to network congestion. All part of a healthy competitive market you might say.
