Took out an @O2 account as part of some 'volt' deal with @virginmedia. My god O2 are bad. Apparently you have to wait a few months to access your account online to wait until their systems "catch up" for new joiners. Shouldn't have bothered.

  • akasha303
Greg Meeres (@akasha303) reported from Twyford, England

@O2 Your web chat support team advised I ‘needed’ to call Equifax, rather than Experian, even when I queried (as I have an Experian account). Might want to check the process playbooks! (Issue is now resolved through a work around).

  • fellbytheway
    fell (@fellbytheway) reported

@TomTugendhat @O2 @EE is that a government issue or the network provider lack of investment ?

  • BenjaminEHowe
    Ben (@BenjaminEHowe) reported

@AndyFurnival2 @TomTugendhat @O2 It was better when there were fewer mobile devices competing for the same signal.

  • AndyFurnival2
    Andy Furnival (@AndyFurnival2) reported

@TomTugendhat @O2 EE are just as bad. All networks believe the utter bollocks they peddle that coverage is fantastic. It was better when it was 3G. If only there was a regulator that could put an end to theoretical coverage maps 🤔

  • CharlesNF_no2
    CharlesNF (@CharlesNF_no2) reported

@TomTugendhat @O2 @EE O2 was so bad in Southampton that I moved to EE, which is a fair bit better. O2's 5G was even worse than its 4G.

  • BeedleB
    Beedle The Bard (@BeedleB) reported

@TomTugendhat @O2 @EE Just like me where I live, and ike here I bet you have no problem getting a text message through.

  • 1joharrington
    Jo Harrington (@1joharrington) reported

@TomTugendhat @O2 UK 5G is dreadful. Third-party user testing from Opensignal and Ookla showed that the everyday user experience in the UK is among the worst in the developed world. 40% of the time your phone shows the "5G" icon in the UK, it is actually running on older 4G infrastructure.

  • NoVATonschools
    Lea Cat (@NoVATonschools) reported

@TomTugendhat @O2 I was an 02 customer for about 15 years and just put up with worsening signal (zero at home) and price rises. Had enough this March and had to get PAC codes via phone call. Couldn’t even complete the call because the signal was so bad- 02 do not care. I’ll never go back to them.

  • GrumpyBiker1969
    Mr. Miyagi 🌴 (@GrumpyBiker1969) reported

@O2 ever since you merged with virgin media trying to pay on your web site / app is impossible Been a customer for over 20 yrs Your service is diabolical

  • BrawdyHawk
    BrawdyHawk (@BrawdyHawk) reported

@TomTugendhat @O2 @EE Never mind, once the new uber Embassy at Royal Mint Court is up & running there will be many more Cells popping up & coming on stream to help with harvesting all the data whizzing around our Capital. Perhaps you'll be able to tether onto some of these, just be aware of spoofs!

  • paalston
    Peter Alston (@paalston) reported

@TomTugendhat @O2 @EE Make it the law, ofcom, that if there’s no decent reception on your chosen provider then mobiles piggyback onto a service which is actually available whenever you are, akin to the 999 thing - your mobile provider pick up the cost. Arguably just one UK network would be better
