Plusnet Issues Reports Near Hampton, England

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in Hampton and nearby locations:

  • kevindewes Kevin Dewes (@kevindewes) reported from Wandsworth, England

@Ofcom @Plusnet are letting you sign up to a contract when there’s a distinct chance the firmware they are using on their hardware is causing connectivity problems specifically with the 5Ghz band. Meaning the service is almost unusable on some devices. Isn’t that an issue?

  • Shazzabam S. (@Shazzabam) reported from Islington, England

@Plusnet hi there our internet has been dropping in and out all day and it’s making working from home extremely difficult. I’ve had to reset the modem many times and it does not help

  • Scampboi Daniel Smith (@Scampboi) reported from Croydon, England

@Plusnet for the second time in as many days my router has failed. It just randomly drops connection. I would never recommend you to anyone. In a time where people are working from home they need a reliable service and you are not it!

  • rupertcheek Rupert Cheek (@rupertcheek) reported from Kingston upon Thames, England

Looks like (our) @Plusnet @plusnethelp connection has been down for an hour +. Giving up. Hope it's up again tomorrow. #plusnet

  • elyob elyob (@elyob) reported from Kingston upon Thames, England

@pfjones77 Hi, it's the PlusNet Diagnostics bot here. We have tested your service, and identified it is being affected by an incident in your local area. Incident detected: 18-Oct-2021 17:30 Estimated clear: 18-Oct-2021 23:29

  • trina_latham trina_latham (@trina_latham) reported from Richmond, England

@plusnethelp before you ask I've checked my micro filters, my phone connection, turned the hub off/on and experienced zero connection issues with my former providers @shell_energy The fault lies with @Plusnet It's impossible to WFH + I want to leave within my cooling-off period.

  • dmosaheb Dharmendra Mosaheb (@dmosaheb) reported from Hillingdon, England

@plusnethelp hi there. I have just joined Plusnet. Got an email saying that my phone package is ready to use. Does that mean that I can connect my WiFi router from today. Need it asap as I need to work from home. My current supplier has switched my service off.

  • stephpb Steph 🍻 (@stephpb) reported from Camden Town, England

@OpenreachHelp @Plusnet It’s a business and there is apparently an issue at your end. An issue that lets plusnet arrange appointments that you guys are never going to show up to. Really shocking that it’s taken almost 2 months to get nothing.

  • Harrison20202 Harrison2020 (@Harrison20202) reported from Wandsworth, England

However, this is clearly not my problem. In the manual, it does not say that a microfilter is not required. The engineer came to my house and told me about it.@Plusnet @plusnethelp

  • Scampboi Daniel Smith (@Scampboi) reported from Croydon, England

@plusnethelp @plusnet if this page was shut down in May why is the feed still here why have an account up which no one checks?

  • MartinWoodward2 Martin Woodward (@MartinWoodward2) reported from Kingston upon Thames, England

@lizcooperclark @Plusnet The problem seemed to be fixed over the weekend but now back to where we were in the middle of last week. I too was receiving some intermittent emails spasmodically.

  • kevindewes Kevin Dewes (@kevindewes) reported from Wandsworth, England

@Plusnet I’ve had your broadband service for 2 months, mobile phones won’t work on it and WiFi signal continually drops out. Tried separating the bands then spent 20 minuets in hold and was advised to try turning the 5Ghz band off completely. No joy. No one is doing me proud.

  • Harrison20202 Harrison2020 (@Harrison20202) reported from Wandsworth, England

@Plusnet I couldn't get on the Internet. Later, they provided engineer visit services and told me that actually I don't need to connect to the Microfilter as required on the handbook, but just use the cable to connect to the socket. Then the network can be used.

  • Green_AJ AJ Green (@Green_AJ) reported from Kensington, England

@Plusnet I’ve had three network dropouts in the past two days. You forced me to sign up to a new contract to get this fixed saying this wouldn’t happen. What is going on??????

  • stephpb Steph 🍻 (@stephpb) reported from Camden Town, England

@Plusnet , unfortunately @WeAreOpenreach weren’t able to confirm that we have an appointment, just rather enigmatically that they’ve ‘been in contact’ with you. This contact wasn’t flagged when I was on the phone to you earlier trying to confirm appointment. Can you help?

  • JSDBroughton jnthn (permanently broken) (@JSDBroughton) reported from London, England

@plusnethelp no online chat and not even a call queue available. We’ve had no internet for most of today (intermittently up). Line fault troubleshooting says no problem with the phone line (plusnet line rental) What’s the best course of action? SE6

  • Harrison20202 Harrison2020 (@Harrison20202) reported from Wandsworth, England

    I feel deeply disgusting and humiliated because I used Plusnet's service.@plusnethelp @Plusnet

  • elyob elyob (@elyob) reported from Kingston upon Thames, England

@Social_embryo Hi, it's the PlusNet Diagnostics bot here. We wanted to let you know that the fault you reported to us is now fixed. Please turn your router off and on, and your service should be fully restored. Thanks for your patience

  • cfurneaux Chris Furneaux (@cfurneaux) reported from London, England

@Plusnet internet still down! Unfortunately as an existing customer paying you already I’m not looking to sign up again so there is no one to tell that your service is down. Hopefully you know

  • cfurneaux Chris Furneaux (@cfurneaux) reported from London, England

Hi @Plusnet my internet is down. Your website says phone lines open until 10pm but phone line closed and says only open until 8pm. How do I get support now?

Plusnet Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • Oxfordite Rupert wilson (@Oxfordite) reported

@nw_nicholas @Plusnet Checked your wifi or your Internet connection? How old is the router? What fault do Plusnet suggest is occurring? Eg. REIN? Is speed up/down the issue? Do you monitor this to see if it is linked to weather (such as rain getting in to BT junction boxes)?

  • Oxfordite Rupert wilson (@Oxfordite) reported

@nw_nicholas @Plusnet Which, presumably, has PlusNet finger OpenReach capacity issues (Did OpenReach attend at such a busy time to see the reality?), or to ponder REIN, which is more common at times of high power consumption/devices powered on/off.. Do power cables share poles with telephone wires?

  • rabbitaway Rabbit Away (@rabbitaway) reported

@BrighaONeill @TalkTalk @Plusnet I was with them years ago. They were **** then. So, now they're excluded. I'm still leaning to BT but no call plans and since my mobile contract is up years ago I'll get £5 off BT mobile so don't need home phone x

  • BrighaONeill Brigha O'Neill (@BrighaONeill) reported

@rabbitaway I was with @talktalk and can honestly say they are the worst company I have ever dealt with by far. So bad that they had me in tears more than once. I'm now with @plusnet and would highly recommend them. Cheap and good service.

  • NMJBorthwick Nicola Borthwick Counsellor/Trainer, London & AL6 (@NMJBorthwick) reported

@Plusnet Hi. Have been experiencing a poor signal all afternoon, so bad that I can't offer my clients Zoom calls, as no one can hear me. All was ok up to Saturday! Please help, as it's affecting my business! Thanks

  • NavaronePage69 LunarSlayer | Lily (@NavaronePage69) reported

okay, wifi works. i would like to burn plusnet HQ to the ground but knight every single support staff they have

  • gedandsue Happy Camper (@gedandsue) reported

@Plusnet hi, are there still issues in Staveley, Cumbria LA8 9JS. Had phone but no internet up to yesterday afternoon.

  • castelm11 Martin Castellan FRGS 🇫🇷🇪🇸 🇪🇺 (@castelm11) reported

@RobertsonDawn3 @Plusnet Plusnet don't own the infrastructure. Their contract with BT (or whoever does own the network) will say that the supplier has a certain time (sounds like three weeks) in which to establish the connection.

  • castelm11 Martin Castellan FRGS 🇫🇷🇪🇸 🇪🇺 (@castelm11) reported

@RobertsonDawn3 @Plusnet I had a case in France where a dishonest official receiver falsely told my company's operator that we were in liquidation. It took three weeks to re-establish the connection. We successfully sued the operator for every day of lost service.

  • SpagFlying The Boosted Spaghetti Monster (@SpagFlying) reported

@Lesism Plusnet uses EE network. Don't go direct to EE.
